Yeah same here, once I was so infuriated by repeatedly losing to the same boss by a margin I ripped my keyboard in half. Didn't break it, I really tore it apart like a stack of paper. Didn't know this was possible until then. That's possible? Please tell me you turned a little green whilst you did it. Sorry to disappoint you but I think I was red like a cherry.

I feel you, I remember when I bought Demon's Souls, I just threw my gamepad out of the window. Yeah same here, once I was so infuriated by repeatedly losing to the same boss by a margin I ripped my keyboard in half. Didn't break it, I really tore it apart like a stack of paper. Didn't know this was possible until then. My friend, who was my room mate at that time, destroyed 3 or 4 keyboards during that year he first usually hit them with fist, then when the keys didnt work after the hit, keyboard was smashed half. It was the time of SHOGO:MAD, Fallout and such... he's calmed down since.

I hate too long games. My preference is a 50-60 hour game. Everything above that is too much.

I made it through half of Resident Evil 4 before realizing/learning that you can run. A related lapse of in cognitive ability happened years prior to this, where I could never progress past that one collapsing bridge in brinstar in Super Metroid because...... I didn't know you could run. Once I finally learned of it about a year or so later after multiple aborted playthroughs as a result of that bridge, I beat the game with no issue.

I have come to intensely dislike the mechanics of BioWare's character related storytelling. I hate that you can't talk to your companions in the field anymore and instead have to play a story quest, return to your camp or castle or spaceship and then make the rounds to see if anyone has gotten new dialogue. Extra disappointment if they don't have anything interesting or nothing at all to say - I'm looking at you, MEA.
Seriously, if BioWare has to use those conversation related icons everywhere, they should put an icon over characters that have new or unexplored dialogue and save me at least some of the running and clicking.

I've never played Resident Evil, Zelda or Final Fantasy. To this day Japanese and console franchises simply don't sell well to me. Also no Mario, no Sonic, no Castlevania, Tekken, Dragon Ball, no Gungan, yugi Oh and none of the other shit.

I like redux-ed and overhauled games, I simply love it when my favorite games have been improved graphically and a little smoothened up in the gameplay department. Others often find that redundant or even hate the practice of touching up their favorite games finding it sacrilegious. I love it and wished all my favorite games got a good fat overhaul, especially the pre-2000's ones.

I'm the type of person who has to restart her playthroughs ten times or more before settling on a main character and canon playthrough as such I generally don't have one character that I love to pieces and spend all my time on (I am learning though, so hooray for me ) this often drives my friend (who I often play games with) crazy because he can't understand my need to restart so many times oh and I also tend to delete old characters that I no longer need, this in order to keep my files clean this in turn often leads to me being sad as I may or may not eventually regret deleting said characters and have to start all over again from scratch
Neverwinter Nights 2 is my first RPG game (love it to pieces, and it still has a special spot in my heart), though the first game I ever played was the first Harry Potter (with the cardboard characters (Flipendo! ), though I needed my brother to kill the end boss because I found him scary (I was 10 years old at the time)

I have come at ease with going 'thats enough' with a game even if i am only a few hours in. Recent examples: subnautica (about 10),total warhammer (About 25) etc. Both unfinished but I experienced enough. I may return to them in the future, but I am happy not too.

another confession would be that I have terrible sense of direction, which apparently also translates onto my characters one time a friend of mine and I were playing this game, and he was walking into the direction we had to go, I could clearly see him on the mini map...but still ended up going the wrong way (and he was laughing his ass of because of it, and I was just like; GET ME OUT OF HERE!! )

Some times I played for 4 hours or more and I would start anew. Sometimes it takes a while to find the sweet spot, I guess.

Buy a quality mouse one that suits the size of your hands perfectly, one that is still using cable. Fiddle around with the mouse speed settings until you find the sweet spot. Don't give up, most people who can't aim worth a damn in computer games simply are limited by a terrible mouse setup. Or arthritis. And then practice, practice, practice, best with bots.

I played World of Warcraft for some time (started up a new char a few weeks back, but haven't played anymore since), but I just can't seem to find a race+class combination that I enjoy every time I think I found one...I play it for several levels, get bored and need to start the process all over again plus I hate the class restrictions due to lore reasons (if I want a space goat(Draenei) druid, I should be able to make and play one)

Good grief, no! I use a controller. I grew up on consoles and still love controllers. I haven't played any game except the Anno series and some point and click games with mouse/keyboard. If a game doesn't have controller support I try to get it working anyway with an emulator or just not play it. It's fine though. I don't play competitive MP games so my aim doesn't need to be good. But even among my fellow controller users my aim is the worst.

RPGs are my favorite genre, but I vastly prefer JRPGs to WRPGs/cRPGs. The former just tend to have more interesting premises, artstyles, music, progression systems, gameplay mechanics, and so many other things compared to the latter, IMO. I feel like many WRPGs/cRPGs lean heavily towards a realistic artstyle with a lot of Tolkien-esque/D&D inspirations or take place in a post-apocalyptic setting (which do nothing for me), while JRPGs tend to have a wider variety of fantasy settings and styles. Of course, WRPGs/cRPGs generally trump JRPGs in the depth of their writing and dialogue, but apart from that, I'll take JRPGs most any day of the week.

I have never played a JRPG. However I watched a friend play one of the Final Fantasy games many years ago, and all I saw was his party traveling across a map, interrupted by frequent combat encounters that looked like turn based posing contests. Of course I've been associating "weird ass posing contests" with the genre ever since.
