A giant grasshopper the size of my palm is sitting on a roof berm right above my weight lifting bench and is watching me doing bench presses. It is probably thinking about whether it should attack me or not. Maybe I should add weight to intimidate it to prevent bloodshed. Also I think its a she judging by the gigantic ovipositor. Pff women these days.
Geez, man, I feel sorry for you.
Today? I helped my grandfather fix his old Grandfather Clock. There is a whole lot of paranormal stigma behind them, and I indeed felt something malignant while working on it. It was bizarre, but I'm a believer now. Needless to say I'm gonna give that thing a wide berth whenever I'm over at his place now.
Nice. Now wait until you feel... SOMETHING being nearby. Preferably face to face with you.
To this day I'm not sure if I went crazy there for a second or not, but it sure sent shivers down the spine.
Just stay strong and don't play with this stuff. Feeling things is not fun, and trust me, summoning them is just stupid.
I believe that feeling people's presence from a distance away, or telekinesis would be possible, but... You're tapping into some serious stuff.
God I hope I'm not crazy...
Weirdest thing today so far: everybody else in my house got up before I did.
THEY WERE REPLACED BY LIZARD PEOPLE!

A storm barreled through where I live yesterday, and downed powerlines in dozens of municipalities across two provinces. Over 170 000 people are still without power locally.
That's just me bitching, because our power isn't expected to be back for at least a couple of days. Here's the weird part:
The storm lasted barely an hour. It was measured traveling at 85 km/hour. That's faster than highway speed limits. I've never heard of that. I've heard of storms causing windspeeds of 85 km/hour+, but the storm system itself traveling at that speed? O.O

If you're anywhere near Eastern Ontario or Western Quebec, than you probably got hit by the storm system. At the time that I wrote that, I wasn't aware that tornadoes had destroyed three neighborhoods within a few miles of my house. Now I'm a little less perturbed by the power outage! (I believe ours has been restored as well, though I haven't returned home yet.)

Our house didnt get damaged, but I'm a bit further away than you, maybe. I did pass some telephone poles that were snapped in half though.

Today in my weight lifting session I jokingly loaded the bar way heavier than what I have been moving in the past months, just to see how far I can move it, if at all. Not expecting to do the lift I picked it up and pressed it quite easily, which makes no sense at all considering that I had troubles moving weights far lighter than this just a couple days ago. I think this was a weird fluke and I don't think I can repeat it.

I think this was a weird fluke and I don't think I can repeat it. There was a time, long ago, when I lifted the weights 6 days a week like you. Thinking back to those days, I remember many strange and mysterious plateaus in my progress. And then, all of a sudden one day, the lift that I couldn't do for months became easy, overnight. I don't think I am telling you anything you haven't known or experienced. Just remembering how training and your body and mind all interact, sometimes behind the scenes. So, since time has passed - have you reproduced that lift?

I don't think I am telling you anything you haven't known or experienced. Just remembering how training and your body and mind all interact, sometimes behind the scenes. So, since time has passed - have you reproduced that lift? I haven't tried yet, I very rarely do personal record attempts since giving absolutely everything in one lift dramatically rises the potential of injuries and 1 repetition lifts with max weight do not build muscle nor strength, it just builds ego . Also NOT knowing how strong you really are makes you stronger. Sounds weird but let me explain, if you know that you crap out at exactly XYZ kg in some lift you will definitely get stuck right there next time you have to do a max lift. Not knowing your max strength you can actually go beyond that and still lift it. Knowing your max strength is like raising an invisible barrier in your head. I haven't done that lift but I feel I could repeat it, this exercise I do with lower weights for 5-8 repletions has suddenly gotten much easier for some reason, its like I have totally figured it out now. Then again, I always get stronger in sudden ''attacks'', never gradually like fitness experts always preach. Lifting has always been banging my head against a wall repeatedly until it suddenly breaks and collapses.

This did not happen today but a few months ago and you probably would not believe me ( it's that weird ). We saw a homeless man ( or at least we thought he was homeless ) drink motor oil out of a oil canister we could not believe what we saw. He grabbed it out of a dumpster and when he was finished he through it on the sidewalk ( he did not care about the environment i guess ) because he was standing right next to it. So after he left we wanted to be sure and we checked the canister and it was really motor oil ( 15 W 40 ) that he drank that cannot be good right.

Since one drop of engine oil is poisonous enough to make 100 liters of water undrinkable that man got himself quite poisoned I imagine. He was probably drunk beyond sanity though and didn't care.

I'm sure it's just my imagination I think it's meant to draw awareness to autism and help in the public's understanding of it. I don't think it's meant to make it 'trendy.' Besides, it could counteract all the negativity coming out of the anti-vaxers.

Ofc we are smart enough to go call aliens from outerspace with alien gear and equipment, ofc, that's true, that we somehow know how to use alien equipment after one go with the things. The Anti-vaxers are fucking idiots tho, nobody should listen to them and their farce rhetoric.

The Anti-vaxers are fucking idiots tho, nobody should listen to them and their farce rhetoric. I haven't seen or heard too much about the new Predator movie, but I have seen shows where there are autistic people who are geniuses and it's true, there are. There is a stigma to autism that was around when I was younger and it wasn't pleasant. I know it's still around, but giving it exposure the way it's being done, will hopefully encourage people to educate themselves on it. It sounds like Predator kinda takes it to the extreme, though. And who knows, maybe there are autistic people who can do that, I doubt they're saying ALL autistic people can, but they are saying that autism isn't a handicap, that makes you stupid and autistic person can very well be a genius. I watched a documentary on an autistic girl who was given a laptop, she had never spoken before, but when she had her computer in front of her, she was able to communicate quite eloquently and suddenly her family realized she was, in fact, a very smart girl, who was able to explain why she would start banging her head, on occasion...it had something to do with a burning, prickling sensation in her head...or something like that and the banging relieved it. I do believe doctors are now working on finding a treatment for that condition, whether it's surgery or medication, I don't know. Who knows, maybe they'll find something with stem cell research. -shrug-
