Yeah it worked fine for me first time too, not sure what the story is with this PT but I could only find one other person (on steam) that had experienced the same problem, very strange. Nah, I thought about posting it on the Ubi Support page but I can't see that there will be anything they can do TBH. I don't want to go back to an earlier save as I have accomplished too much since and I have zero interest in reinstalling the game. I am disappointed as I wanted the witch in my crew but other than that I don't really care except that I hate leaving things incomplete. EDIT: Just checked Ubi Support and no one has ever reported the issue. FYI this is where the marker is showing the witch's location: EDIT 2: so went back to Paros and found the witch, she was hiding in a bush being attacked by a Lion!!!!!! Killed the lion and she attacked me, after cooldown couldn't interact. Loaded save again, again she was being attacked by a lion and hiding, killed Lion from stealth and this time she didn't attack but still couldn't interact. Will try again later. However to take out my frustrations went and killed the two Cyclops. <iframe width="14.3000000000001" height="12.4" id="MoatPxIOPT1_87420994" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 10px; top: 232px; width: 14.3px; height: 12.4px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="14.3000000000001" height="12.4" id="MoatPxIOPT1_83831016" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 660px; top: 232px; width: 14.3px; height: 12.4px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="14.3000000000001" height="12.4" id="MoatPxIOPT1_49101180" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 10px; top: 791px; width: 14.3px; height: 12.4px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="14.3000000000001" height="12.4" id="MoatPxIOPT1_25234537" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 660px; top: 791px; width: 14.3px; height: 12.4px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> What - you didn't want to go deep sea diving? She might've been a sea witch! But seriously, that is weird... if one of her lions is attacking her, it's really gone awry. And from your screenshot - apparently she's already dead. LOL actually I did just for the sake of it dive down and swam to the bottom of the sea but the marker said it was still over 100m away!!!! All the other animals were walking around tame, I wonder if it was a random Lion that just wandered in????

So lets see.
I did the Eubeoa side quest line. One of my favorites actually in the game. Though for some reason it was a bit underwhelming this time. So I don't think there is a way to avoid the fight at the theater after all. Which kind of stinks...since talking with the guy harrassing them apparently doesen't actually stop anything. If you talk to him he reacts negatively which then still causes me to shoot him and apparently you have to kill him too as it won't go on to the next objective until you do. And also his children still react...like they do. But on the flip side it did give me my first bit of sustained unarmed/ non killing combat in the game to this point. His 'guards' apparently turned out to be nothing but some obvious civillians attacking me with brooms and shit. So I engaged them with my fists and cut through them...think I had to have broken some guy's arm...but was able to beat them off with no other casualties other then the guy in question.
So after doing everything else and a bunch of little chores...including murdering a mercenary just standing out by the notice board before he grabbed his stomach and died...it was off to the main assault.
Storming the beech and doing some very minor urban warfare I fought the way to the top of the temple of Achilles where the Robin faced off against the Kingfisher. This time I had Kass tell the Robin to not give his brother a chance which was...really a wise idea...and it did actually payoff because Agapios did not die this time. But what followed when combat did break out was perhaps the best sequence of sustained combat i have one for this PT and probably since I played A Brother's Seduction with Alexios. First put 2 Devestation shots into the Kingfisher because I wasn't quite prepared to risk Agapios. Then Heroic Striked another bad guy before overpowering one almost right next to him to the left before finishing the last two with headshot Devestating shots.
It was cool.
As a note I am not sure what to do about the Pirate Set from here. With the NG + the game gets around the legendary problem by it gives you the new equipment at around your current level. But since I am wearing the set does it replace those...what does it do to the engravings?

So yesterday did a lot of sailing almost 20km as I was in Makedonia and decided to reveal some "?" and clear most of them and then moved to Thasos and did the same then to Lesbos as it was the only placed I hadn't been to yet. I then sailed from East to West and then all the way North to South and again East to open the whole of the sea map. Fought some sea battles, one epic one for a new sail (For the "Wave Cutter") which I am not using, where it started as The Adrestia Versus one ship but then at least 6 Pirate ships "materialised" literally, they just rose up out of the sea!!!!! Prior to my sea adventures, fought two of the cyclops, killed some merc's, got into several scraps with Lynx where I almost died, hunted various animals and completed the first two parts of Barnabas "A Friend to Die For" quest" as well as Finding Xenia's treasures for her. Pic's Found these two guys and brought them together and they fished lived happily ever after. Kass taking down a Son of Ares Some nice moonlight scenery and a change of gear Sailing, sailing and more sailing and for almost 20 minutes of constant storms Pephka Bull riding

I think, will try and check in a bit as I need to kill the cultist with the last piece, that when you get the full set it should scale to your current level or two levels lower but that may happen every time you get a piece, I can't remember. As said will check soon but have to find the guy who has it.

It doesn't remove the engravings (the ones you get a blacksmith to put into the spare slot) if that's what you mean and I don't think it increases them because I think they are fixed numbers. The engravings already present on your armour increase I think someone maybe Dragonborn said increase every ten levels from L5. Hope that answers your question sorry not 100% with it today, massive headache!!!!

So did this quest today, its one of my favourites. Below is the quest in pictures: So rescued this guy who thinks he's a god: The priestess wasn't happy: So his followers followed him as did Kassandra We found the entrance to the home of the gods: Yeah that didn't go so well

So running around Greece trying to do a few side quests here and there.
After which I got Phidias out of Athens. It was rather...interesting the events which enfolded. Alexios beat on the guard the first time though Kass was able to get by him by convincing him they were lovers. Just the thing is the guard and another one of his fellows ends up coming in anyways. I did find the implication quite fascinating here though because there was just something in his tone that suggested...he was going to try and rape Kass. Well those ambition didn't last long.

BUT no you have to go through the fight your way out regardless.

You taking out the guards give him his opening.

So got lots done, nice rainy day so some extra hours of playing was had. So thought I'd finished the quests for Xenia but was wrong so retrieved the Lyre of Apollo and Pans flute. Previously opening "?" and not clearing them has been paying off in terms of not duplicating stuff as visited several sites that I had found but not cleared including two of the much bigger forts Olouros and the one on Mykkonos whose name avoids me ATM. Was really pleased took both down without being discovered including the Leader of the area in Olouros. Anyway returned the treasures to Xenia and got a special reward. Then on to Mykonos which I had totally forgotten about even though its been on my quest log for ages. Cleared all the "?", supported Kyra over Thaletas and even having decided to stay neutral on the romance side of things, Kyra's allure was too strong. This PT Kassandra has been a lot more blunt with people and so after doing all the lead up sub-quests and the Conquest Battle, Kass had no qualms killing Thaletas (he is kind of a dick anyway) and not telling Kyra. Second time around I really think Kyra's romance scenes including the writing and Kyra herself are the best in the game, closely followed by Roxanne's which I still have to do but just not looking forward to that stupid Mountain Battle. Anyway yesterday was also a day of killing many merc's and I mean many as in near on 20. It got to the point where I was killing reincarnated Merc's, well they at least had the same name. These included Doris the something Walker and Eirene The Fashion Soul. Both the above forts attracted at least six each even though no alarm was raised!!!!!! Pic's Poor Thaletas but you are a bit of an idiot and how did he know about Kass and Kyra they'd agreed not to tell him? The Romance Scenery

So on a whim I decided to actually help out Kleon this playthrough after all. After all this is a job for her and she has no real love for Spartans. So I went through the Spartan camps slaughtering them as I went with being pretty stealthy and then quite easily killed the Spartan Commander. Other than a mercenary showing up in the middle of it it wasn't a problem. Then it was off to a marble querry for him to rescue one of his agents. Got there and started knocking people out...and then I realized it might be difficult to escort someone out in the circumstances. So I started killing them all instead. Eventually I got everyone and found the agent...and he was dead. But then Kass pointed out there was a Captain there and as luck turned out it was the Captain of the ship Kleon was waiting for. Put him on my horse...thanks to the advice guys...and off I went. It was a bit of a roundabout way as I found a FT point to climb up and a few other bumps along the road. So when I was close to the destination I came upon one of those unmarked camps that was a combat zone right in my way. I got off...then slaughtered all the Spartans and released the prisoners...got back on and the Captaintold me that his crew was taken nearby and I was to kill all the Spartans and free his crew...love it when that happens. But he went back to his ship and...off he went. I wonder what the cargo was? Also attended Perikles's symposium. It is one of the troubles here I am remembering a lot of these quests that I did with Alexios...but then with only two dialogue options in a lot of these cases just trying to play them differently. But then the dress they gave Kass for the symposium was very nice...and she really hates political dealings. Still the game apparently agrees with me that this is where it opens up. All the Lost Tales of Greece are now all available and so is the quest with Alethia...though seems I still need to finish the main campaign to actually do it. Probably going to be going to Argos next. And last but not least killed off I think three more of the cultists. Still trying to gain a handle on who to kill and who not to kill but at least she isn't quite the pore murder machine like Alexios was.

I needed leather for upgrades, and I see 5 goats walking along a road. Jackpot! I shoot all but one, only to see a farmer walk up to their bodies, look at them, and walk off sadly. The remaining goat followed him. I just killed his herd and ruined his livelyhood. And I swear he looked glum as he walked away

I actually had a similar moment yesterday (don't worry a lot more to come just figure I'd share), there were a LOT of goats walking down a path probably like a dozen of them and I was eagerly lining up a multi shot until I see this guy just walking right in the middle of them so I am like...oh...they're yours. So naturally I did not shoot and just stalked away.

Well, I was inspired to do a little more out-of-bounds exploring tonight. First up - that huge tower in Tartarus... Then I found a statue of Hermes... under Elysium. FYI - If you jump off said statue, prepare to enjoy a drop of over 4 km. BSN's resident Out Of Bounds Champion strikes again.

So as promised.
Actually it is kind of funny the amount of animal related stories I had last night. From just having the entire screen filled with multi shots that I could use to get all their leather and stuff. To chopping a goat that was going by and then realizing it was likely somebody's. To having a bear following me for about a minute while I was on horseback, all you could see was its snout just chasing after phobos. Of course when I pointed it out to my wife...it stopped. Also got Phobos killed for the first time ever last night so that was fun.
The night actually started off pretty frustratingly since i was in Phokis and was trying to hunt down clues to where the cultist was...and I ended up hunting down every single question mark in Phokis I think and in the end it turned out to be in an area I already did but it was actually inside the cave. Which is weird because I thought the cultist themselves was actually in the Wolf Den in Phokis and not a clue. So I hunted them down. On the other hand doing all this exploration is nice because I can say I did it this playthrough...and I sparta kicked someone off an open doorway and down the hill.
After that I did the quest chain with Lykaoan the healer. I killed granny...pretty sure again. Remember the cult does trigger her and elites and yeah...pretty sure this is what I did last time she was guilty.
And then to wrap up Phokis (probably at least for now) was off to do the Daughters of Lalaia...?...pretty much tore right through it. Kass chose to give them armor instead of weapons because A. as she pointed out weapons can be made up. B. She has a lot of weapons herself and is basically a one woman army...so focus on protection for the rest of the villagers. And in that note she did go into and focus on the scouts. The Sons of a Xerxes (I think this will be a new insult) did attack and for the first time I equipped fire arrows, had multi shot, and took them out and set them on fire from a distance. And everyone lived. Bit anti climactic...but it does make sense.
After this did Once a Slave. Once more pretty sure Kass did the same choice as Alexios here and didn't tell the Master the slave did the steeling. Which resulted in the slave staying on in the first place when the truth came out. I do have to wonder what happens if you do lie for him. I just think that some rather severe punishment might result. But in the end everyone was happy.
Finally wrapped up the side questing with the Supideo stuff. And I didn't sleep with the pater blacksmith this time. Which it was funny since I didn't do it it still kept up with the humor and still left me with a good chuckle. Pater: Actually there is something we want to tell you... Mater: AHEM we really love you. Kass: *turns to camera* what an odd family. Me: *chuckles*
Soooo Argolis went there, killed off Midas before going to meet up with Hippkrates. When who should I run into instead, but surprise surprise, Chrysis. You! I snarled at my screen. Which it is a bit interesting this playthrough I have noticed that pretty much all of the Cultists you run into...that you don't know if their cultists...the musical cue plays for them. That creepy music that sets your teeth on edge. Though it hasn't happened to their esteemed leader...
And I've tried guys. I tried really hard. But I just couldn't do it. The fort where that guy is who has Hippocrate's notes I wanted to do it with minimal casualties. Well I was cornered, the sun was coming up, and i had run out of paralysis arrows...and there was a merc. So I ended up kiling a great deal of the guard force to achieve my objectives, even putting down those people that I had knocked out in a few cases. Then I went to the guy and let him work on his own pateint first...which typically led to the death of Hippokrates guy...which then everyone just sort of shrugged and continued on their merry way

So yesterday, god I am getting old have trouble even remembering what I did!!!!! Thank god for Screenshots. Alright, so cleaned up some remaining things on Mykonos and then headed off to get the last cultist I had remaining for the Aegean Sea line to reveal himself. That required destabilising the Obsidian Islands and doing all the sub-quests that lead to the battle of 100 hands and then of course the battle of 100 hands itself. So killed The Leader, took down a treasury (?) and reducing The Obsidian Islands to 0% power and then went and spoke to Drakios to get the ball rolling on the battle. Headed off to spar Roxana which was a dawdle but the archery and shooting the wolves was a fail as about six of the wolves just launched straight on to me. Got some snide comment from Roxana but whatever. Then thrashed her on the foot race to "Lovers Leap" and having rejected all the flirt options I couldn't help but accept the last one as I didn't want her to die later on. Did some exploring and took down a group of damn Lynx that was far harder than it should have been even though there were some guards there to help. Anyway headed back to get the battle underway, I hated this battle first time I did it as I melee'd every single opponent. This time was a breeze as with the CRIT build I just Rush Assassinated everyone with one hits until the very last battle against the cultist guards. All to easy and much quicker. Convinced Roxana to not fight and join the crew and then returned to The Adrestia and hunted down the Cultist (Sokos?) and had a relatively easy battle. Pic's Enjoyed killing this guy This guard did a very poor attempt at hiding Beat Roxana in melee with one hit Then thrashed her running Decided I couldn't let her die And succeeded and got a new Lieutenant Then did some sea fighting and Athena shows how to use the pointy end of a spear and Kass also gets on with the death dealing

Continuing on with the Argolis portion of the main quest and dealing with all the repercussions thereof.
It is interesting the juxostoposition between this and the stunt the huntsman pulls later in the game. About how we are the *real* monsters because of our actions. It's actually something the game goes out of its way to drive home on numerous occasions. But it's just... really ineffective in this case. Doubly so since Kass has been trying to save the lives she can and only kill those people who are necessary for her objectives...not always successfully but the attempt is made. And yes she did leave the baby behind this time but there is always an argument to be made to stop someone so they cannot do similar atrocities in the future. I don't know how scripted this was but going to kill Chrysis in the mouth of the cave was really satisfying. The light there just made Kass look really menacing which was awesome as she swore to hunt the cult down.
So with all that done off to Korinthia where I first got the cult clue at the blacksmith and availed myself of the opportunity to upgrade my weapons.
I did all of the Korinthia part of the main quest too. Nothing too much to say but I did go with Brasidas's plan to deal with the Monger and not Anthousa's. Though it was fascinating how...insistent...she was that we go along with her particular plan in the whole thing. You should've done this...make sure to drop his body off in public. Its like 'biiiitcch'. Curiously though it did cut to a cutscene instead. Other than that it was a rather awesome sustained bit of devestating shots clearing the area of monger's men when they were harrasing those worshippers at the Temple of Aphrodite.
Other than that I am probably not Alkibides favorite person right now. First took his dick cast to that one guy...and with the absurdity of it told him it was from Alkbides, not getting anyone else in trouble. Though in going through the fort I had a lot more success then the last time i raided a fort. I still had to kill a few people got into combat and dealt with two mercs but I was able to save most of the forts population. I also discovered much to my surprise that you can apparently recruit leaders...shocked the hell out of me. Then went back to Athens, did Citizenship Test and then did the quest with the witness and...didn't go along with it. Which is now something else I now know about the game.

So not much play in ACOD yesterday unfortunately, basically sailed to Lakonia, cleared some icons including a large fort which seemed bugged. Twice snuck in but every time I tried to trap the signal fire the fort went nuts and everyone ran to attack Kass even though there was no one who could see her. Anyway 3rd time the game behaved itself and Kass was a deadly ghost once more. Then caught up with Myrinne to push the family quest along. Myrinne insisted on stopping and fighting some Spartan soldiers as we rode by which was quite funny, Kass just stayed on the horse and watched and then looted the bodies!!! Watched the kids fighting the wolves and didn't intervene. Met up with Brasidas and got some quests and then with one of The Kings of Sparta and got some more quests. Hi mum Myrinne The Monster Home sweet home A magic portal, has anyone done any of the "My Story" quests? Snake King of Sparta
