This has been said a million times before, but that ending just didn't seem right. That's not my Kassandra. Why give me the choice to play her a certain way for 100 hours then whip that away and force me into a schmaltzy situation like that? I almost wish I hadn't bothered with this DLC. If I play again I'll be nice guy Alexios, who would suit this ending, but a game shouldn't give you RPing options some of the time, only to railroad you into uncharacteristic choices later on. Especially when part of your promotion of the game is promising that that exact situation would never happen.

Finished the latest LToG
Glad they finally used the island of Samos. Until now there wasn’t a single reason to go there. Sad to see Herodotus leave our crew though. He was my favorite of our two companions.

So finishing off Mesara...at least for now. I was actually quite surprised that I could fight the Minotaur and that it was a few levels behind me. Still took me four times to gut the bastard. And twice to get through the labyrinth. First time I could see the Arena but misjudged the distance between my spot and the second to last platform so...Kass promptly bounced off the thing and desynchronized. Then snuck under cloak into the leader of Messara's room in the fort, assassinated him, snuck out under cloak. After that decided to follow everyone's advice and go back to the Silver Islands to deal with the Thelatas side of the little Rebellion. Breaking the blockade was a bit...fun...because I kept bumping into this Spartan ship, I assume it was the same one because it engaged me...which led to me being sunk. I hate sea combat. But I did get it in the end. Then helped him kill off...'kill off' the last commander which I ended up recruiting for the Adrestia and then after that Thelatas put a bunch of flowers up a path for Kass to follow even though she wasn't interested...though this is probably a result of me flirting with him ONCE. Still it was dewscent enough I suppose. A little creepy but on the other hand people having forbidden love is a bit of a thing so I bought it...sort of. But then at the party Thelatas got killed anyways. Kass: *thinking* Does this mean I have a chance with Kyra. Kyra: Just go away! Kass: Other than that it was a murder of Mercenaries. I think I killed like 5...quite probably more...of them. I rose my bounty level to two skulls quite naturally this time and they were just on me like white on rice. Also ended up sinking one of the Cultist ships to get me the Pirate set again...I discovered that the upgrades does not replace the engravngs you put on it.

Second time didn't care about the loot and just made sure I got the kids dads ring and then concentrated on getting to the minotaur. Surprised it took so any attempts to take him down are you playing on Hard? I put some poison arrows in him with poison activated and then took him down with three or four Heroic Strikes with a couple of Fury of The Bloodline in between but I am only playing on normal.

So yesterday had a bit of a frustrating day, don't have many cultists left to kill so thought I just concentrate on that and went and killed Melitele then for some reason I forget I ended on Thasos and decided to clear "?" had a frustrating time clearing a for called Koinyra fort I think. Rush Assassination failed to fire several times and I had the shame of dying at the hands of a low level Mercenary. Also had an invisible guard pop in on my second attempt at the fort and send the place into high alert and whilst in melee a couple of incidents of HS and FoTB just not activating when the key was hit. Anyway third time proved the charm and everyone died including some Merc's without ever knowing I was there.
Have a cultist who is still not unmasked and the comment says unmask other cultists of the (Pelopennesian) line to expose them but I have killed them all except the Sage of that line???? Also in The Delian League I have one who it says enjoys the company of The Heterae and the guides online say I need to do a quest but I cannot find the quest anywhere on the map? Anyone know who this is?
Anyway still on Thasos and about to do School of Hard Knocks, I thought that quest exposes a cultist but given I have so few left I am not sure who.
No pics worth posting today.

It is one of the weaknesses in this PT, not having BCA makes Kass really a glass canon I keep on toying with the idea of adding it but the only thing it really seems to make her weak against is these big bad bosses. She just shreads anything much belowthat.

What level are you, early on in this build I was L75 and I'd lose a lot of health in one hit but now at L99 with my armour fully upgraded, even the toughest Merc's and monsters etc. I can usually take two or three hits and that gives me enough time to run away and use the Second Wind ability.

I logged in hoping to either nab a missed ship cosmetic or confirm that my collection is finally completed. I was disappointed to see that I'd remembered incorrectly and it is in fact merc week.
I was surprised by the Herodotus quest. I knew it was coming, but didn't realize it had arrived. I completed it and found it okay. The animations seemed really good. I'm not sure if they really were, or if I just got used to MEA's stuff animations during my time away from Odyssey.
My skills were really rusty, but my build and gear so good that it didn't matter. I like Herodotus, so the story did elicit some emotion. Still, there seemed to be a huge, overly simplistic leap mid-story. Meh. Whenever I get back around to Odyssey, I look forward to replaying this one as part of a fully invested PT, rather than the half-hearted, Odyssey-weary run I did today. Each of the conversations with Herodotus was enjoyable, and I'm content with that.
I still have that damned fool from Barnabas' LToG loitering on my ship. I wish I could throw him overboard. I would love to unleash Ring of Chaos and blast him over the railing.

Because I can't complete Barnabas's quest to find his wife due to the glitch with the witch's location I have a constant blue dot over Barnabas on the ship and am constantly reminded by the prompt to "check the nearby quest" its almost enough for me to stop playing, almost. Finally got to L99 and am at Mastery Level 6 I believe. Two cultists and two sages to go and Medusa and am almost finished the family story. Think I'll skip LoTFB having already done it,I didn't enjoy the quests etc enough. Then the last two LToG and Atlantis and Hades, woohoo.

The start of Episode 3 of Legacy. FUCKING HELL. YOU HAD ONE JOB KASSANDRA. Seriously, making a bloody stupid automatic choice that I would never have made, leaving your child to go help a guy who asked you leave him alone, what the actual fuck? You made me sleep with Natakas, you made me settle down, have a kid, and now you're forcing a stoooooopid choice on me that my Kassandra would never make. If I replay the game I may forget this DLC exists

I have been wondering this PT where Roxanna has gotten off to since I am fairly sure it was fairly early when I bumped into her in my first PT. Sinking my first cultist ship of the night as I continue to get the Pirate set all the 'free upgrades' and the next clue pointed me in the direction of the Obsidian Isles...which by itself is quite groan worthy since there really is not alot there...and the requirment is to weaken the said islands to force Soklov into a naval battle...so several bits of groan.
But I did run into Roxanna! And even though it was quite a distraction at the time considering I wanna hunt ocean cultists but I kind of figured (correctly as it turns out) the battle of a Hundred Hands might help me knock down some of that nation power. I don't quite know what it is but this quest line really annoyed me this time. Mainly in the battle itself because seems a few of the contestants are really hard to find so I had to use a lot of time... finding them. I did go through Roxanna and the cult like butter. Arioxos was a bit of a challenge.
The other annoying part was just how...forward...Roxanna was. No interest. No flirting. No chemistry. Yet somehow she puts together a very suggestive picnic lunch. It got so bad that my wife yelled out from the other room... she said no ya slut.

Its a good romance though I think and she's a good Lieutenant for The Adrestia. I actually found the battle easier this time, first time like you I found it hard to find some of the enemies and made the mistake of melee combatting everyone. This time I used Ikaros to find everyone and used RA on everyone except the final fight with the guards and the main dude.

So took a break from ACOD yesterday to start a new NG+ PT of MEA.
The previous day in ACOD I continued to hunt down cultists and basically slayed lots of mercenaries whilst clearing markers on the map.
Going to try and find a balance between finishing this ACOD PT and MEA and then come back to ACOD to finally play the Atlantis and Hades DLC as well as the two latest LToG.

Speaking of LToG I hear a lot of people mentioning them but they haven't dropped in my quest log yet. So I wonder, is there something I have to do or does the one with Herodetes only unlock after a certain point in the story?

I think they just appear on the map with that bright blue Icon well the older ones at least but the new one "A Really Bad Day" appears in my quest log I think.

Considering what happens in that one, it might trigger after beating the main game like the Heir of Memories one. Have you tried talking to him on your ship?

Speaking of LToG I hear a lot of people mentioning them but they haven't dropped in my quest log yet. So I wonder, is there something I have to do or does the one with Herodetes only unlock after a certain point in the story? Considering what happens in that one, it might trigger after beating the main game like the Heir of Memories one. Have you tried talking to him on your ship? no... Anyways it's no big rush I'm too busy hunting Cultists to get to it right now anyways. Just curious.

Most of the LToG might be available but I know the last part won’t be until post-Main questlines.

I like the Roxana romance arc. Yes, it moves at an absurdly fast pace; but this is the case with every arc. Odessa's is the worst for me because of the super cheesy lines.
Roxana and Kyra each feel like pretty good matches for the misthios. They're each strong, confident and adventurous enough to stand alongside someone like the protagonist. I also like Lykaon, the physician. He's not quite as obvious a fit, but I think it could work.
The thing is, Lykaon's life and that of our misthios are headed in divergent directions. Kyra has Mykonos and her people, not to even touch the existing relationship. Roxana has what? The Battle of the Hundred Hands? It makes perfect sense for her to switch directions and join Adrestia's crew.
It sucks that you can't save Roxana as a friend. That's a weird design choice. Other than that I like her quest. Though it's probably not the case, I'm curious to see if "Old Flames Burn Brighter" allows us to reconnect our protagonist with a past love interest. If so, I'd like to revisit Roxana, Lykaon and Kyra. Hell, I'd retry any and all of them. New content is usually a good thing.
