My Kassandra might be a bit violent That's how you know you're doing it right. In my first (lost) playthrough, I was trying to be "nice", well at least not some sort of psycho. I didn't murder entire camps to loot everything, or didn't kill none-threatening guards all alone on the road while running past them. I didn't even want to deal with mercs. Now, I even killed some poorly dressed priests near a statue...but they attacked me first I suppose. I mean, what was wrong we me dangling from the statue? We will see how Phokis goes, but I'm having more fun the way I'm playing this second time around.

Hunter+assassin seems the way to go for stealthy play that also work in conquest. I finished Megaris (well maybe there is a camp or two I didn't clear but whatever). Sniping people is fun. Backstabbing people is fun. Shooting 4 people at the same time is fun. I also killed two mercenaries. The first one was a bounty I picked because the guy was right beside the message board, the other one came over after the first fight turned into a bloodbath... I then killed the guy who put a bounty on me while he slept. My Kassandra might be a bit violent. The gameplay loop in the game is what makes it special. It's just fun. Even if the open world is not the best, it's your playground to go wild.
On my end - I decided the pet mechanic doesn't work for the stealth PT I am trying to do. The pet has the terrible habit of following and cornering you in a tight spot where you get stuck because it doesn't move unless you move...and you can't move because it doesn't move, gaaaaaaaaaah Now I appreciate how the Greedfall companions scatter in all directions if you even hint that you are going to ram them. Also my pet keeps being engaged in combat even when I use a smoke bomb and scatter... So after 10 hours, I went back to Kephalonia and untamed my loyal Alpha wolf near Kassandra's hovel where I originally got it in the first 5 minutes of the PT. I may be back for you, buddy...

I saw some people talking about the tamed pets not being that great on another forum, so I avoided the talent. It's probably cool with a warrior-smash-arrow-in-your-face build though.

I'm not really a fan of the level scaling in this game. :/ and I'm annoyed that one headshot kills don't behave the same was as the ones I melee-assassinate (which is auto-loot + auto-disappear). I made it to Athen, leaving a trail of Kosmo's mooks in my trail and brigands. I will now be involved in "realpolitiks" despite me not being interested in it and I'm wondering what happens if I kill Attica's leader before I'm far enough into the story (can I even do that?). I'm getting better at shooting things in melee combat...well one-step back melee combat too.

Story reasons, plus unlike the others they are based off actual people. Why bother with given them the Leader icon in that case (it's a rhetorical question). Oh well, I'll just murder everyone else I can. Bloodbath!!! I love how the game says "or maybe Kassandra felt a little bit violent today" when I complete random quests before I talked to the quest give.

I didn't like it my first PT but it actually makes a for a good understated pathway as to what to do next. when I played NG+ I and so easily distracted I was just bouncing around all over the place and missing stuff I then had to go back and clean up or just not bother doing. azarhal I also like a lot of the little comments in the game, like the ones the soldiers make when picking up their dead. Did you figure out you can pat and feed Ikaros? On PC it's "E" whilst he is sitting on your forearm when you stand still for a bit. If you hold "X" when you call the horse, Kassandra/Alexios will mount the horse without having to hold "E".

An image speaks a thousand words Or "what happens when an overzealous guard doesn't like you hanging too near to his precious prison". I was looking for the Ostraka solution and stood a few seconds in the yellow zone of the nearby prison. Next thing I know I am ambushed by the entire Agora. Jumped on the roof, but...well... It was hilarious. People kept coming from the edges just like the Husks in ME2 during the IFF mission. Kicked some down by accident. Few ran after I pointed a bow at them. Don't worry for the rest, I used Stun arrows only. There are no dead bodies in this picture... I didn't take a shot on the ground though... You can see the vultures are circling.

Athens/Piraeus are just awful in term of design. I keep entering "restricted" zones while trying to get from point A to B. The "warning" isn't far away enough as I often discover I trespassed once I'm inside the red zone and guards start to chase me...
I once ran across the prison yard and only realized it was "restricted" after I left it...lol.

Even worse you're running through an area, hey you! says a guard, time goes funny and your only choice is to power through and hope they don't chase you. Because if they do...

Even worse you're running through an area, hey you! says a guard, time goes funny and your only choice is to power through and hope they don't chase you. Because if they do... Hunter Kass with 90% Crit chance and 650% Crit Damage always has a Stun arrow ready It helps that the Slow time ability has a final upgrade that automatically aims for the head of the guard that sees you. And there is always the trusty Multi Shot for all the guards's friends and silly civilians. No bounty, no issues
See that line of people on the ground, all with a terrible headache? It means Hunter Kass took a shortcut through the city See that line of smoke, Merc bodies and fire in the distance? It means Pyro Alexios is going for his morning jog.

I am logging every day to grab the extra Orichalcum and slowly continue my 3rd PT. And yeah, also for testing some CPU settings since ACOD is a heavy CPU hog, often eating 95%+.
I realized I have absolutely no idea how to reach the big statue of Athena in, well, Athens, without climbing the steep walls. I am sure there is path leading there, but I never found it
Slowly, but surely am moving Kass up the Merc ranks...without touching Talos (first Merc that hunted you in Kephalonia). I have no idea how, but this guy was right in front of me in the rankings when we started and now he is like two Tiers ahead of me. Bastard must be making kills of his own. But his head will be mine only when I reach Number 2 and he is Number 1.
Cleared the Keos quests. Somehow I thought they are longer. Maybe I am just way more efficient now (Mastery level 290+) This island is a paradise for animal attacks. Everywhere you go you are in combat because the fauna tries to claim the land. I tried to help the citizens at first...Shot a pig that was attacking a woman. Suddenly got attacked by what I assume was her husband Dude, I get you, but ever heard of a divorce? Sheesh... Then the wife attacked me...Lady, wtf? Then the pirates attacked me... Cmon, people, it was a single guided arrow! I am a pro! It did come damn close to several of your heads, but at the end it killed the pig ffs...
I fumbled some settings and my CPU heated up to 75C on occasion during a 90%+ load in the game. I am yet to figure out what gives so much voltage or if there is a tricky program that acts up every once in a while. I want average ACOD temps of no more than 60C dammit I will get there! Even if I have to drop below 1.0v!

I started doing it but gave up, I was just not interested. I am however tempted to start a new PT given there is not much new on the horizon but am enjoying ME ATM.

I am worried I'd just be frustratingly hopeless at the shooting etc.

It gets released on Steam in December and looks stunning visually. I'm going to be trying it out on the recommendation of a friend here. Never tried the first one, either.
