High: I started Origin client, ready to play 3MP.
Low: So tired, I realized I wouldn't be able to finish a match awake, and with the alarm coming in 6hrs, I shut down the PC.

High: three games today. Low: all of them over 30 min mark. High: Fat Tsol managed to curry pugs on Hydra vs Reapers. It included some dancing with the banshees, some kiting and a lot of missiles, gels and ops packs, but we got there. I feel rightly proud about that, even if it did take me almost 40 minutes to did it. Low: last game, I was joined by clips7. As GruntKitterhand would have said it... fuck Cerberus. Unfortunately, in Russia Milky Way, Cerberus fucks you. We rolled HDagger/Cerberus and man, that game was harder than it had any right to be. Part of it probably had to do with my console acting up something funny. No way a well played drell vanguard, Demolisher and KroSol should have this much problem with golden Cerberus. I am so sorry, buddy. It was a fun game and we won, albeit it with much difficulty. But I feel slightly responsible for out troubles.

I get where you're coming from since grenades are OP as hell especially in gold, but there is something very soothing about tossing all of my grenades using a thermal clip and tossing all the new grenades. Although, for me, it's usually done in Plat because Plat deserves all the cheese. High: Got a double UR Arsenal Pack after my pentultimate game over the weekend. Hurricane X, Valkyrie IX. Only three more URs to go for a maxed manifest. Valkyrie, Black Widow, and Javelin are all at IX.

Reegar+Piercing and Warp+Incendiary/Incinerate+Incendiary double stack. I will admit that I have used Incendiary on my TSent in the past (fire 'splosions!). I have corrected that mistake. Gold is for taking it easy and playing varied kits. Want to try a melee HSent out? Go nuts. Volus Shurikens? Totally manageable. So when you run these kits it gets annoying when pugs show up with Grenade Capacity, Reegars, Black Widows, etc. I couldn't care less about score, but Gold requires self-nerfing in order to keep it fun.

I can agree with that and I feel gold is where challenges are done as well, although I'll never pass up a Platinum grab no matter what enemies are around. There are several kits I don't even bother to use in gold (TGI, BatSol, QME, GI come to mind). Xbox pickins are slim so I'm still usually running a good gun on most kits, soloing wave 8 gold can suck with a Tempest I will do dumb things like throw a PPR on a QFE, because why not, but I'll handicap myself with lower tier equipment or no fitness builds and still play reckless as all hell. The max I'll run is level III for ammo (Disruptor IV is the exception as I have 200+) or a non Krogan melee build will usually get a Cyclonic III. Occasionally it is nice to run an OP kit on gold (Harrier GI, APIV, Cyclonic IV, AR Amp III) to laugh at how easy they can make it. I've seen many a newbie lately for whatever reason so if that's the case I'll go a little stronger kit or nuke a late wave spawn; lolconsole times also seem to be like 3-5 minutes longer than PC times on average. I'd say my average time for extraction is 23-25 minutes with wave 10 cleanup nukes. GruntKitterhand may have noticed my reluctance to use missiles on target objectives (duos are a different story) as I like to save them for wave 10 cleanups.

High: I usually go shotgun with Batarians but I came to realize that I didn't know if jimming with an assault rifle had the same baseball bat animation as the shotguns. So, all in the name of science off course, I put the Omni Blade on the mighty Avenger and went to town. With my partners in crime Arktinen , docsteely and Sonashii we got an all Batarian lobby started. The RNG gods looked kindly upon this endeavor as we rolled the Geth which ended up in a nice pile of scrap metal at the end of wave 11. Oh, and it was hilarious slapping the toasters around all though I might have gotten carried away when going against the double Primes so thanks for the revives. We then went on to get some payback against the Reapers for turning our own kind against us with an all blue team. I daresay we won the screaming contest against the Banshees with our combined asarigasms. And for the finale we got the chit refilled with 4 Volus cleaning Glacier of bugs. It took some more revives but we got the job done and earned our credits. I've said this before but I'll say it again: You just can't get these themed games when pugging. Thanks to all you BSN'ers in general and my 3 team mates in particular who enjoy these games as much as I do.

Especially the impromtu kind where I notice a theme between the "randomly" chosen characters (or guns) and decide to roll with it. I can say that I was a little jealous of the wife getting all the fun, but I turned down the offer as I wasn't ready for games yet, so my own fault there.

And some bonusimages, as I was testing if Fraps works: Asarigasms by Team Blue And so many tiny Volus Volus galore Looks like the Banshee is liking it Strategic hand placement is the key, eh, Lars?

Thank you Arktinen, Arkhne and larsdt for an excellent string of games! Only highs as far as I am concerned, a few in no particular order: High: quadruple vorcha match, I don't think I have ever seen praetorians' armor melt so quickly. High: three batarians on glacier (to say nothing of the salarian), lucked into geth; lots of deaths, but an hilarious amount of meleeing (and rightful grenading). Baseball-batting toasters will never get old, but I think next time I play a batarian, I will put the melee stunner on a pistol and go full melee with that setup, the triple light melee for one handed weapons is pretty sweet! High: Arktinen carried the day, after my krogan and larsdt's fat turian got skewered by a phantom (never charge a phantom with an unloaded Graal, you will regret it), and the pug revealed their gel allergy. From krogan to krogan, a job well done, proud to be your krantt! High and PSA: do not anger Larsdt's Asari Valkyrie! The reapers did that mistake, and she made them regret it. It was pretty awesome to watch her dodge, detonate and decapitate fools left and right! So smooth, I even failed to lock her in the reactor... twice and many more, the only low being I had to stop playing. Awesome games all around, looking forward to more in the future!

High: Had two Gold matches with our second-latest colleague recruit (we are 6 by now, so we doubled since we first started playing together. I think we did a good job of converting others as well!), and we did Cerby/Jade in 19 minutes. We were joined by PowerDandy, very good, but mostly stuck to themselves (it's a he, I think?) while the rest of us stuck together reviving each other (yeah, there were some waves...). I have no prejudices against PD and I only know the name from here, but I understand he likes to get on the mic and yell? There was no such thing this time Eh, in our second round everything went super smooth until Wave 4, when we scrubs started dying sooo many times (Reapers/Vancouver) while he kept on rocking the Volus Engineer. Took 30 mins, but oh well, I still enjoyed it. I recently started to play the Quarian Infiltrator with the Striker. That is a LOT of fun! It's the best feeling when you throw a grenade right into a Marauder's face Higher: To finish off the session we wanted to do a relaxing Silver match. And surely... Collectors! On White. Hilariously, by now Silver almost feels like a joke, and Collectors were dying left and right. I was quite surprised by it, but this WAS a relaxing match. Perhaps playing all these Gold matches recently have paid off, even though I still have to learn a lot more Also, played my BatSent for the first time in a long time. Fun!

From krogan to krogan, a job well done, proud to be your krantt! Highly enjoyable games, I think that was actually my first pc Vorcha on gold. Learning to like these snarly guys, against all odds. Here are our scumbags on Glacier: Scumbags! Indeed, I wasn't entirely happy about that pug just slowly bleeding out on White/Cerb, leaving me the last krogan standing. He/she should be glad my mic isn't working on Origin. (That should not be interpreted as me just quietly sitting there :contempt: .) I may have perhaps gone a bit missile-happy to get rid of phantom-atlas-phantom combos, but wasn't going to take any chances with my fat voluminous krosent. Glad it went ok in the end. Gladly joining forces again soon!

A lot of Highs today! High: Played some Gold matches with 2 and later 3 of my colleagues. First one was really good, was playing Batguard with the Piranha. Thought this setup was okay. Switched to the AIU and I've seen many people play her with either Reegar or Claymore, but I thought I'd give her the Piranha as well (maybeee for the Challenge Points ). I had a really great time with this setup. First match with her was on Goddess/Cerberus. Even though 3 of us got sync-killed by Phantoms in one wave at pretty much the same time, the last player managed, and it ended as a fun 22min game! Next up was Reactor/Geth and a player joined that I've already bumped into 2 or 3 times in the past, always nice. A little highlight for me was Glacier/Collectors. It went super smooth for our standards. We weren't the most experienced team, but we did it in 24min without too much trouble. Higher: Switched back to my Batguard, and boy oh boy was that a blast. Even though it was my most hated map (Condor) and we got Cerby, I just couldn't stop smiling. Batguard with charging/heavy melee combo and Piranha in the face was amazing fun suddenly (in my first round I had some Charge problems... I'm pretty much always off-host, heh). I used to not get along with the Piranha the first few times I tried it out, but this setup is amazing! Sorry to be so excited about what probably is old news to most of you MP veterans, but I was so happy that combo worked so well for me now. Another little plus was that we were joined by a Volus. I just love them Unfortunately they were gone in wave 7 or so and we carried on with the 3 of us. It was quite long with over 30min, but I loved this match a lot. The last game consisted of an all Adept team against Reapers on Giant with loads of boom. 22min, Fury Adept is still amazing, and it was a great way to end today's session. Highest: I completed the Shotgun Mastery and now I've done each Weapons Challenge once Also, these pics

High: This is a quickie. Today I had a pleasure of teaming up with Doc, Alfonse and GenXIV. Very fun games indeed. This is my highest moment from that session: Call me insane, but I prefer this over Assgasms NOW FITE ME
