I don't even find 2nd wave feminism healthy and constructive for societies. It was all about muh independence! What if I told you that both women’s suffrage and universal suffrage were mistakes ... now being abused by socialist demagogues and sentimentalists all over the west? People ought to prove responsibility and maturity through having property and properly managing it or have to earn it by military service, honest and devoted public service, or academic achievements etc. in order to have the privilege to vote. ... probably not possible under "Democracy". Exactly. I don't even classify myself as a feminist, I'd lean more towards humanism, than feminism, if I had to throw a label on it, my focus isn't just on female equality. As for the guys in the video... It seems the poor dears really want to believe that they are worthy of having an opinion on women and have a choice with what they get. I'm sure there are women who might be interested in them...somewhere...but really, with their attitudes, they really are overreaching with their self-appeal. WAY better men exist, way better. Well, I do consider myself a feminist, but in the sense that I strive for equality of women and men. And that's it. And I must say that budgee was not totally wrong. Nowadays there are a lot of so-called "feminists" for whom equality is not the ultimate goal; they want to, in a sort of way, punish men for the historical narrative they've inherited. And I think that's just a blatantly shortsighted approach. However, I find the "dumb-ass early 20s middle-class college student" remark quite offensive, not because I am in my 20's. which I am:whistle: , but rather because anyone and everyone can grow and learn from their experiences, as we all do. These women have or want to fight for their rights and that's ok. Maybe it's not the right approach, but they can figure it out later. Let's give them room to improvement. They are young and sometimes unexperienced.

I agree, There are women who go overboard and become a female version of what feminism stands against with men...some men, anyway. The way I see it assholes come in every form, male/female/lgbtq, every ethnicity, religion (or nonreligion), social status, age, education level...etc... but so do decent people, so I look at it as me being anti-asshole and I share most of my values with humanists. |

To tell you the truth I didn't even bother to watch the clip and have no interest in what she has to say. Fact, she's a bitter hate-filled twat that has delusions of grandeur. She enjoys controversy and always presents a onesided opinion. So, instead of wasting my time listening to her bullshit, I just ignore it. As for another fact, there is a large amount of money worshipping assholes who are deliberately stirring up shit and creating chaos, by posting false or misleading information. Also, there are those who deliberating create hardships for others so that they can give their views an air of credibility, when in fact, any issues they have a problem with are issues they orchestrated themselves. So yes, I can and will dispute any statistics being presented by her because I have no reason to believe her views aren't being presented with undoctored information. |
