Just curious, as I tend to play as a mage the most, lol.

Warrior. I feel a need to lead from the front and to be in a greater position of danger than any of the group I'm leading. I'll play other classes, but sending others into the dragon's jaws whilst I stay back just feels wrong.

I love playing a mage too much in DA:O. Trying to play a dwarf rouge now, but will see how far that goes since I abandoned my last city elf rouge during the fade quest in the mage tower. At least with rouges I can finally open the chest at Ostegar and not have just walk past them, goodies that I can't plunder. Dammit Alistair why couldn't you or the other tower guards been rouges.

I'll play other classes, but sending others into the dragon's jaws whilst I stay back just feels wrong. You can do it also as mage... in light armor! Such heroic! Ofc: my choice is mage.

Mage used to be my jam with any RPG. But I mostly play as a rogue now, because there's a choice to go either dual wield or archer. Also, who says a fight has to be fair?

With DAO I played rogue the most because there was only one mage backstory and I wanted to do the different origins. I saw no point in playing a warrior since I could use most weapons (other than two handed ones) as a dual wielding rogue, plus of course I could also use a bow and swap easily between the two.
In DA2 it was pretty even between mage and rogue. I played a warrior once just to see what it was like.
In DAI I started off playing a mage but on balance I prefer playing an archer. I just had so much fun creeping up on Venatori mages and then one shotting them. I found dual wielder really problematic and not nearly so much fun as in DAO or DA2. I think the Knight Enchanter spec is awesome, since I found I could take down a dragon almost single handed but the archer still gets the nod, since my companion mages were great and if I played a mage myself, I was spoiled for choice.

So far, I have had three warriors, two mages, and one rogue. My next Quizzy will be another rogue, and my next Hawke will be a mage, though, so warrior won't stay ahead for long.

So far I've played three mages, two rogues and two warriors but I have another rogue and warrior planned, so my Inquisitors will end up being evenly distributed. I want to use each of the specializations.

I'd say my second favourite class would be warriors - I played a lot of them in both DAI and DAO (none in DA2 though, despite trying to do so... ehehee....)

Mage is hands down my favorite class. It's just too much fun. When I went to play a melee class, I opt for rogue. I like the speed and the versatility. Warrior is my least favorite class. It feels too slow and clunky, but I do like the image of the noble warrior in heavy armor. It's just not as much fun to play.

Normally, rogue is the class I would use the most in DA, but somehow, mage works for me the most here, so it ended up being my personal canon. I find the dialogue throughout has a nicer touch when the character is a mage, like when remarking on being a mage when first being appointed Inquisitor, and even in small banter, like if the Inquisitor is in a romance with Sera, and Dorian is in the party, and decides to make a comment about the Inquisitor wielding magic. All around I find a mage is the best one for the story, especially a human mage, who is the only version of the Inquisitor that has the closest ties to the rebellion, as the Oswick Circle rebelled and killed the Inquisitor's potential mentor.

In DAI, in order, I played: rogue-dw, mage-ke, warrior-s/s, mage-ke, rogue-archer, warrior-2h, mage-rift, mage-rift, rogue-dw, mage-rift
Mage 5 Rogue 3 Warrior 2
I played warrior once in DA2. Much prefer mage or rogue. Playing my first archer right now.
In DAO, rogue is my favorite. P)layed an archer warrior once, and mage only twice.

Didn't vote because my preferred class changes depending on the game and its mechanics, but numbers-wise I've played rogue the most. Sadly, I've only played DA:O/2 once each. - I was a warrior in DA:O, but mainly used dual-daggers and sometimes swapped to sword+shield. I can't do anything remotely similar anymore No weapon-swapping, no freedom of weapons... A tank with dual-daggers was awesome and unique. - In DA2 I was a rogue, because I thought it suited my Purple!Hawke and because I love those daggers. - In DA:I, my first playthrough followed suit, and Tempest was a blast, literally. Second playthrough (as an updated version of the same character), I also had daggers until I decided to respec to Archer at the Battle of Haven (really miss weapon swapping...). I headcanon that, like Legolas, she is an Archer with two daggers on her back as well. Wish I could mod the models there, if nothing else, for immersion. Tempest again, and it was interesting for an Archer. Next, I played a mage to romance Cullen (mage dialogue!) and try the class, and both were fun. Knight-Enchanter. It was more fun pre-Spirit Blade " update" nerf, though. Finally, I came full-circle and played a Warrior again, also as another version of the previous character, also to romance Cullen (Templar dialogue!). Sword+shield Champion, because I like tanks. Never dying is nice, but I preferred my DA:O warrior. I like to try everything. In ME, I got to try everything by playing MP, so it didn't matter so much in SP. In Elder Scrolls games, I'm a fan of the no-class system and generally do a bit of everything at the same time. Sword+Shield + Magic/Archery is super fun Also, I'm sorry to nitpick, but it's a pet peeve of mine: Can everyone stop writing "rouge" when they mean "rogue"?! Please? It's sooo common! Every time I see it it makes me want to Headbutt myself(?)

Mage all the way and forever. If it wasn't for the fact I wanted to be queen in DA:O, I would have never touched the Warrior class, and since I was already playing as Mage in DA:I, I decided I may as well play as Rogue in DA:2. But I have to say Mage with a Knight Enchanter specialization is my absolute favourite because it satisfies my need to play either close or far range.

I'll usually always go rogue unless there is a more compelling story reason to choose another class. For instance, in DA2 I prefer to play as a mage because I like the brother/sister dynamic between Hawke and Carver better than the relationship between Hawke and Bethany and I think being a mage makes me more invested in the overarching mage/templar conflict as the game goes on.
In DAI my first and "main" playthrough is a human rogue, but I also quite liked the elf mage story because of the connection with Solas and the things we discovered in Trespasser.
I very rarely play warrior, just don't find it as interesting.
