Difference is ME2 actually followed up with it and didnt leave us hanging and we got that thread resolved with LOTSB. Actually in game DLC and not a book. At least the book was good unlike the DLC. Must have played a different DLC than me.

Yeah in fact I'd say Shadow broker's not just my favourite DLC but probably my favourite mission in the whole trilogy. I just loved everything about it in fact going t obe playing it again soon possibly even tomorrow given I'm halfway through a ME2 run atm with my latest Shep as I've not done Shadowbroker or Arrival yet in my current run. Although I may do Arrival tonight as I've mainly got Loyalty missions and the DLC's left other than the IFF mission and finale. TBH I think that DAO and DA2 are in bigger need of a remastering than the trilogy. Both are good games still but the graphics aer dated and the interface is still a little clunky by today's standards

Currently doing a trilogy run leading up to "Anthem's" release and got to play LOTSB over the weekend and it reminded me of how much I play it over and over in anticipation of ME3's release in 3/2012.

LOTSB is by far the best dlc in the entire series imo! There really isn't a close second to me...

I actually hate LotSB, but it has a lot to do with not wanting to play a DLC with Liara as the focus. Oh, can't wait to do my RP run where Shiala joins the Normandy and helps Shepard with the cipher and general mind stuff. In ME2, Kasumi becomes the SB. In ME3, Kasumi and Shiala are on board the Normandy. With that RP, playing LotSB doesn't seem so bad. Too bad you can't recruit Tela Vasir. Having another Spectre on board (and maybe even three in ME3) would be pretty cool.

The broker dlc is crap. Here's why.
Anyways. Remaster? Since ME2 recently celebrated it's ninth birthday, it would be a nice gift for its tenth anniversary for the game, and ME1/3 to be remastered.

Plus the resources you can get from the Shadow Broker's ship can be quite useful as well given it points you in the direction of the planets/systems with the most resources.

I'll say it. I'll be the one who says it. I will never play the original Mass Effect series again until they fix the goddamn endings. Which they will never do. I uninstalled all three games after playing through the third game, and I have no intention of installing them again. Your problem and loss then. You literally wasted your money on three games just because you don't like the last 10 minutes of just one of those three games. I see no reason why I or Bioware should care that you're so unreasonable that you'd insist on continuing to deprive yourself of at least 2 of those games that you must have enjoyed enough the first time you played them to have even considered buying the third. They already got your money and you've already shown your hand that if everything isn't absolutely perfectly to your tastes and liking, you're the sort of person whose very willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Addendum: I very much like Andromeda. If they never finish that story, I'll be very disappointed that they didn't finish it. If they finish the story in a manner I don't like, I'll be disappointed with that, sure. Will it make me like ME:A any less, though? The answer is no. I'll still enjoy playing it for the same reasons I enjoy playing it today. If they finish the story in a way that intrigues me more, then I'll likely enjoy ME:A even more.
The same should apply to the Trilogy, only more so. ME2 is a standalone game with a GREAT ending. It does not have to be connected in any way to ME1 or ME3 to be a great game with a mulitude of different endings. The Suicide Mission was a truly genius way to end that game. I simply will never, never understand why people who don't like the ME3 endings would even suggest that it ruins the experience of the entire 3-game trilogy for them unless Bioware "fixes" ME3's endings. They are simply being unreasonable.
Because people don't want to play a game with poorly written story and a crappy ending. Simple as that.

The real question is whether BioWare will learn from their mistakes and improve or continuously devolve. Maybe BW needs to only work on one game at a time like CDPR. Maybe they need years of development to get it right. I don't know the answer but I doubt EA has any interest in allowing no product to be developed in order to "get it right".

Because people don't want to play a game with poorly written story and a crappy ending. Simple as that. When you put money down for a game, there's a chance it's not going to satisfy you. Those are the risks. Do your research next time before purchasing the game, or anything for that matter.
