It's too hard for me to judge, I'm too far down the rabbit hole already. It actually bugged me that they removed the HUD and showed only a clean flying view. Kind of false advertising a little? BTW, a single-frame screenshot at 0:25 is freaking Reddit tf out, because it shows SIX Javelins on screen at the same time. Supposedly impossible due to the 4 player cap. BIOWARE LIED! I think the “outrage” is a good thing. Clickbait youtubers and people with an agenda against BioWare and EA are trying VERY hard to look for things to be outraged about and are so far coming up empty thanks to the transparent approach BioWare is doing. Compared that to ME: A where the bugs and glitches were obvious to everyone and clickbait youtubers could make a montage out of them. This time BioWare took their time with polishing the game and being active with the fans. It’s to the point where people are trying to make things up to bash Anthem.

There's some funny moments.... "this has to be the most ridiculously protected book, ever." hahaha... made me giggle at that one. I'm really liking everything I'm seeing thus far. Can't wait to go exploring, flying around just learning and discovering everything. Will probably spend my first many hours just taking in all the sights and sounds, even before I get into story content...as much as that will be possible. I am going to try to prolong my experience of the game by just enjoying being out in the world. So much this. There will be people 'speed running' to the elder game, but not me... No way, man. I don't do Speed Runs....EVER. Never have. I buy games (such as this) that I am fairly certainly (turned into 200% positive) that I know I am going to enjoy...and so I spend my time taking my time to enjoy the experience. Why spend upwards of $100 if you're only going to rush through a game as quickly as possible? That turns a 100 dollar experience into a 10 or 20 dollar one because *poof* you're done before you know it, and are left with the feeling "was that it? Was that all there was??!" Well, of course that's all there was if you just raced through it!
To me there is no point of speeding through any game just to beat the ending and then have it all done. If you really REALLY dislike the game, to the point of loathing it- then stop playing. Or uninstall it from your system. That will be the same wasted money as speeding through it. But at least if it is uninstalled you can forget about it and play other games. If you leave it installed and then begrudgingly speed through it every time, all you're doing is forcing yourself to hate the experience all over again...and well, then you may have deserved to have wasted your money.
Even a game like Jedi Outcast, which over a period of 10 years that I played and loved every moment of that game....having played it literally thousands of times in that period, I was able to finish it quickly (obviously because I had memorized every level...I could close my eyes and give my friends walk through over the phone knowing exactly where they were and what they were doing, even from their vague description I'm at that part where there's this giant monster behind the wall and you have to free prisoners I could tell exactly where they were on the map, exactly what they needed to know and do and how to do it.
But I never ever got tired of playing that game to the point where I would race through it in world-record-shattering time as if I couldn't be bothered playing. To this day, the Dark Forces series of games, including Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy are among my all-time favourite games and I am disappointed that I can no longer get them to run on my modern PC

For many the "agenda" against EA/Bioware with Anthem is more about general hate for EA (see recent news about yet another cancelled SW game) and hate against Bioware for abandoning SP. Being transparent has nothing to do with anything. A game can be polished and still fail early or later on. The same griping points I have today were the same ones I had when Anthem was 1st revealed. Bugs, glitches and levels of transparency has nothing to do with it. I believe the demo will be the 1st gate that Anthem must pass and will give everyone a better sense on how the fate of Anthem will truely be.

Which again is forcing to find something to retroactively dislike Anthem. The cancelled Star Wars game is irrelevant to Anthem and BioWare continually stated that they will continue Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

What smilesja meant is that many people (I am not saying everyone who isn't buying it but SOME, before anyone thinks I am claiming it's everybody who is not interested) are trying to find negative things to say about anthem, If anthem turns to be a very good online game they would hate it because then they would have to go into nitpicking and want very visible flaws to show to people. Many of them WANT bioware to not be transparent, they want them to make mistake and have a buggy game at release as they want to feel vindicated in saying anthem should be boycotted.
And that is for tons of reasons: some wants to have their revenge againts EA. Others have grudge againt BW for MEA, and others think that BW has no right to try and make an online game even throught if developper stayed at what they did in the past, From software would have never made dark souls and keep making armored core games, blizzard would have stayed doing games for console, etc.
Many would love if EA would put lootbox into Anthem and release it before it's finished. It's harder to convince people to boycott a product that is actually well made.

I have never liked the idea of coming across a secretive box, trying/having to open it...only to then have to pay actual real-world money for the items inside in order to level up your character via better weapons, armor, gear, clothing etc. I think they did that with Tomb Raider (2013) on the 360 with the card packs, and it turned me off. So I played the game without whatever those things were because I wasn't about to spend actual money on in-game stuff.
I don't mind a few dollars here or there for "cosmetics" or "incidentals", but I am glad that Bioware has chosen to be up front and transparent about this. I liked the idea of the old "Bioware Points" system you could earn points that translate into $$$ which you could then put towards DLC. I did that for LOTSB, and it was well worth it. A great mission, a really good length, lots of fun, interesting story, good combat. Totally worth the 20.00 dollar splurge.
You will know what you're getting (* surprise * you get this item that is useless, you don't need it want it or have any use for it....But it is an extra 20 dollars just because you opened this stupid box) . NO. With Bioware we know what we will be getting/paying for and how much it will be. It won't be forced on us, it will be a choice: "Do I want this cape for my Interceptor....it's only 2.00...? Either, Meh: Decided not to. Or Sure, why not. But the choice will be yours.
And of course we won't be penalized in-game if we do not opt for these things. If this is the way that Bioware has decided to do things...especially for a game of this nature and size, they have my vote.
