The Puppet Master Engineer uses AI Hacking and Dominate to control the battlefield by forcing enemies to fight for you. The Engineer's Combat Drone (A.K.A the Glowing Light of Awesome) can distract enemies and can sometimes even completely prevent them from attacking. The Puppet Master Engineer is never at a loss for squadmates. Build Strategy: I imported a Level 60 character from Mass Effect 1. After completing Lazarus Station, Shepard was at rank 6, allowing me to put 2 points into AI Hacking: Level 6 Puppet Master Engineer: 1 - Overload 0 - Incinerate 2 - Combat Drone 2 - Cryo Blast 1 - AI Hacking 1 - Tech Mastery 1 - Dominate As I level up, I plan to allocate points in the following order: 1. Completing Freedom's Progress gains you two more skill points. Put these two points into Dominate to get it to rank 2. Dominate starts becoming useful at rank 2. 2. Evolve Tech Mastery to shorten power cooldowns and increase Research Bonuses; Engineers with greater Tech Mastery use less resources for research projects, so less planet scanning. I evolve it Mechanic to lengthen the duration of all my powers except Overload. 3. Get Dominate then AI Hacking to rank 3. After Freedom's Progress, you mainly face organics until you finish Horizon, so putting points into Dominate before AI Hacking is a better idea. You will face more synthetic enemies after Horizon. Level 3 AI Hacking and Dominate is sufficient for basic enemies. 4.Evolve the following powers in order: Dominate, AI Hacking, Combat Drone, Cryo Blast. Level 30 Puppet Master Engineer 1 - Overload (Pyro Detonator) 0 - Incinerate 4 - Attack Drone 4 - Improved AI Hacking 4 - Full Cryo Blast 4 - Mechanic 4 - Enhanced Dominate Weapons: Pistol: Predator and Carnifex SMG: Shuriken, Locust, and Tempest Bonus weapon: Shotgun, Katana and Eviscerator Videos: YouTube playlist.
