How about:
NOT ending the mission 2 seconds after the boss is killed or final objective is completed. Give players at least 30 seconds ... with a prompt to go direct to the 'Expedition Complete' screen if they so wish.
Especially now that the Bosses in Strongholds will drop loot ... are they just going to troll us and drop loot then send us to the 'Expedition Complete' screen before we can get to it.
Apologies if this is something they are actually considering/fixing/have fixed etc.

Someone can correct me if that is incorrect.

Is anybody else not disappointed that there isn’t a gender neutral option in the character creation suite? BioWare had a chance to attract non binary folks and make a positive statement at the same time but decided to go with the norm anyway. It won’t stop me playing this game but I think it would be nice if they patched it in at some point,

I want the ability to combine lesser quality Embers into higher tier Embers. Like, 10 Uncommons make 1 Rare for example, so that way we still get some use out of older, lower tier gear.

You automatically collect the loot when the boss dies (at least that's how it works in Tyrant Mines). So you can't "miss" the loot.

Yeah I just ran a stronghold for the first time after the patch, you now get the loot popups on the right side of the UI after the boss. I thought they were making it so that it actually comes OUT OF THE BOSS, which would be good, but no. smh even when they "fix" things they fuck it up.

It's purely psychological, but it's an important aspect of looter games. This game has wonderful loot explosions from chests, it would be really great to get one from the Stronghold boss, rather than just having the boring pop up on your UI.

Never did, really, tried to start a sniper build once and didn't really understand the concept of looter shooters back then I guess. Not being able to one-shot with a sniper rifle just seemed wrong (and still does to some extent ).
Anyway, I do get that loot explosions are awesome and stuff (I did play some Diablo 3 at least). I was mostly asking because it came up in a thread about "critical flaws" and thsi didn't seem like one of those to me. But I get that it would be nicer.

It would benefit the game and make people more excited to get loot. Same psych principal as loot boxes and gambling machines.

It hits your dopamine center, as it's a better visual representation of you accomplishing a tough task. As an example, in some shooters you'll have a loud audio cue of someone's head popping when you land a killing headshot. It's a passive way to pat the player on the head for doing something that requires skill. Haven't played CoD or Battlefield in a long time to remember, but Destiny has this type of mechanic (literally sounds like someone shot into a melon).

Nintendo always had the audio queue part down like nobody else. Decades later people still remember these unique sounds. Opening chests in Ocarina Of Time, I'll never forget. It never got old.
Audio is more important than visual. And that's one department in which both Anthem and Andromeda are lacking. ME3 was so perfect in that regard. Biotic boom, biotics in general, the unique gun sounds, unique enemy sounds... sci-fi is fun because you can go crazy with the sound design. The one sound effect I really dig in Anthem is the hydraulics when sprinting. Very cool.

I got my hands full with this one, but if you want to start a thread per Javelin, the Builds sub might be a good place: bsn.boards.net/board/63/anthem-builds-loadouts

Fair enough. The chances of anything happening right now are close to zero, so I am holding off on that for now. No clue if I will still be playing in two weeks... probably not, lol.

Question for those playing the game: has the recent patch that increased the amount of time before you are forced to rejoin the squad improved this issue enough that I can remove it from the list (TETHERING TOO AGGRESSIVE issue)?
I'm also debating whether to add a high-level issue on the overall MW/LG loot balance/drop-rate controversy. This one is a lot less clear cut, since there is a pretty vocal minority saying a lower drop-rate of higher quality is preferred. No matter what side you are on, this is seems more subjective to me than any other issue in the top 5. Perhaps it would be better to make the issue even higher level and say that the elder game in general still needs improvement, it hasn't quite yet got the right combination of features to make it broadly appealing. That seems to be pretty universal.

On a mission in the open world. Yes. Since they tweaked that. It is a none issue as I have yet to see it. Lets one stop and grab a harvest node along the way.
In Strongholds it is less of an issue if you get a little behind. Unless someone (not sure if only one or two people) rush to next checkpoint/door there is still a timer. This one still drives me up a wall especially when I am well within 15 meters of group. Now when I know I won't beat the timer to get around a corner or something. I just stop and let it port me. For me it is nearly instant.

Tethering in Tyrant Mine is fixed minus one potentially problematic place. Generally speaking it is somewhat ok now, could still do with some improvements. Loot quality is not fixed, the big loot patch didn't really do anything. The inscription tables are chock full of BS stuff, removing a handful of useless combinations them did not achieve a tangible result. 90% of all MW loot is still auto-salvage quality. Out of curiosity: why are you maintaining this thread if you don't play the game?
