I try to time it for use on mobs with heavies or big bosses.
Plus I'm amazed the last option in the poll has only 1 vote since that seems to be the prevalent attitude around here.

On GM1 my abilities almost 1-kill most enemies so the Ultimate is for "oh shit" and tactical big boss moment.

Using it for bosses almost exclusively. I have tried to force myself to use it more often but I simply forget. Also, since I mostly play the interceptor at this stage of my leveling process, I feel the ultimate is most effective against single enemies with lot's of hitpoints that you can just keep slashing at. I hate having to move between enemies and waste ultimate time (which obviously makes no sense because I'd clearly have more overall ultimate time if I used it more often but hey, logic is overrated anyway ).

I umm, forget I have it more often than not. But when I finally remember it, I often hold on to it till mobs with heavies are grouped up. And I always forget my support. Anyone want to play with me?

Colossus main, blow it whenever if I know I can get it back soon by clearing large trash groups.
Otherwise hold on to it (for a bit) and use it when about to die.
Normally I use at least four-five times per Stronghold.

OP forgot the poll answer where you use it as an ops pack a la ME3/MEAmp to refill all your health so you can play more aggressively while one is ready.

Use if you got em. The cooldown is so low it is almost a waste not to.
Perhaps more would use it if the UI was more apparent

I use it as an instant health refill if im nearly dead.
Unfortunately I keep pressing the wrong button and my javelin stands there clapping as if to say "well done ****head" just before I die.

As we only have 2 gears, one could consider your ultimate as actually an added gear. But, for the limited amount of time I've been with other people, I really haven't seen much people use it.
So I was just wondering, how do you use your ultimate? Often? Never? Tactically? And more important, how SHOULD others use their ultimate? I'm running Storm right now and I use it when a boss appears. I'm still having issues "seeing" exactly what it does. I know it rains down damage but its hard to see where to aim it. I need to see if I can change the target reticule color or something. Also, I need to figure out if you just keep spamming RT or hold it down for full damage. So many questions.
