Bioware are now receiving feedback from their favourite employees impartial members of the community, their Gamechangers. I'm sure that hug box will provide valuable feedback to Bioware, but I guess that's the type of feedback they crave.
I know some of those people. I'm sure they will give frank and unvarnished feedback that needs to be heard, but they'll do it without being rude.
Bio needs to be open to new ideas.
Unfortunately, Cataclysm, while a worthy name evoking strong possibilities, is just another Stronghold. Most feedback, I suggest is "cosmetic". That is, bug reports, latency issues, matchmaking issues, co-op puzzles problems... etc.
Instead, Cataclysm, as the name suggests must be a dynamic map. One that changes every time you enter. I don't mean radical changes but enough to give the player the sense it's different and rewarding. For example:
(1) a guaranteed quality item.
(2) rare crafting materials.
(3) a bag full of coins... enough to buy a cosmetic item
(4) a random skin
(5) different enemies / monsters
Game Changers need to supply the studio with ideas and Ben better listen.

I'm sure they won't hold back with their thoughts, but it falls to BioWare to determine and develop the most successful game content.

Glad you agree. It'll be more useful feedback than some of the nonsense that passes for feedback online, I suspect.

The people want their loot and they definitely make it known
They did and I have every expectation that the Game Changers raised it again.

Cameron Dayton @camerondayton Brainstorm session with my BioWare crew - 1 million ideas in 30 minutes. And that’s rounding down.
Must be too simple.... here is a hint.... Less grind, fun challenges and achievable rewards.... plus loot, soloing, leader boards, dynamic maps, better ingame currency, new content, re-orientation of maps, ....
Brainstorming implies burnout, imo.

Actually, it comes to bioware to have ideas and develop them. Have an independant thought ffs.
They keep saying they "believe" in anthem, but they don't know what they believe in because they don't know what direction their game has to go!! They're pleading for ideas with the public (and PR spinning it as 'player feedback', while hilariously only listening to influencers) because they no longer have the creative, experienced minds of yore.
I can not stress this enough: Bioware does NOT have a plan for Anthem, other than a few key words scribbled on a website (Cataclysm, act 2/3, guilds, mastery, ...). And how could they?! Anyone who ever dreamed up anthem is gone. And the rest is just in damage control state of mind.
Don't knock the little winds. They're important - for morale.

Do you have actual proof backin that statement up? I mean oh dear - Pillar can't stress this enough - the World must Stop and Listen. Who is it that is gone? Is it Hudson? Kirby? Dayton? Warner? Actually he may still be off because off sick relative but I doubt it.

Hm...
I believe the concept is called "to infer". That is"to derive a conclusion from facts or premises." ... something analysts do, working at Intelligent Agencies or managers working at companies. Managers, btw, have to make decisions based on incomplete information.... some of the times ( of which I once was and did).
Bio, installing a PTS, per se, is an indication it needs outside help. Nothing wrong with the concept in order to launch a solid bug free DLC/new content. However, the studio goes beyond the 'report bugs " to "what do you think"?". Also add this. The studio wants Game Changers to supply them with feedback. GCs already love the game and these are the ones still playing... the rest of the player base have wandered away elsewhere. That's like upper management or the Prez surrounding himself/herself with Yes Men. How that will bring back the disillusioned is a mystery to me.
On the other hand, if Bio is happy with the current player base and EA is happy with the monthly online monetization revenue.... hey, naysers can naysay ad nauseum as far as they care. ... except for possible poor press, of course.
Morpheus: "know what happened happened and that it could not have happened in any other way".
Much of what we have is inference as the facts are largely not at our disposal.

How about the fact that Jon Warner talked about Diablo III being a great inspiration over a year ago. How about tha fact that they said specifically looking at the Greater rifts as something inspirational for the Elder game. Huh? So why act surprised when a time trial cataclysm shows up at our doorstep? Need I remind people that whites, blues and yellows drop still high up in GRs?

Oh no. Zealous bioware fan insults me passive agressively. Woe is me.
And it's pretty callous and cowardly to ask for proof, because no one here has insight in bioware company itself, but that pendulum swings both ways, amigo. You have no proof for your convictions either.
But, the proof is in the pudding. And bioware's pudding has gone more and more stale since launch. Objectively. If you don't want to accept that, by all means keep zealouting around.

Do accusations of 'zealotry' really have to fly around when somebody is asking for proof for some pretty big conjectures? You yourself admit that there's not much proof to support your convictions, so why one person is a zealot and one is supposedly... seeing the truth or something?
Plus, there's not much water in the claim of "proof being there in the pudding. objectively" about Bioware's 'pudding going stale' because your assessment of the situation seems to be entirely reliant of what you know about games of this type - and given your previous statements I see some holes here.
For example, I'm really unsure why you think that Bioware has no plan for Anthem because they're asking players for feedback, when that's how it's supposed to be. And this isn't just Anthem's half-arsed 'omgIhavenoplan!' flailing or something - that's basically standard for games of this kind and been so for years. Player feedback is crucial in such games and it will be crucial in Anthem for years to come, even when they figure all the kinks out - or, in fact, especially then.
Austin - logically - takes time to build everything up, from game improvements, updates to player feedback channels and so on and they're laying low before they have actual things to announce. That's all there is to it for now. If there really is any proof of anything is that Anthem simply won't escape issues usually plaguing new games of this type - at this point it's basically an established fact that it takes at least a year (if not more in some cases) to take off ground.

Quite interesting. Frostbite is definitely encouraged to be used.
Funny is that she shot down the Bio guy who said Bio did not need a public Beta test because they did a "thorough" internal testing. Meaning, not taking Bio's word stood me well.

Very interesting interview. What Anthem did wrong was not being ready in time, not spending at least a year playing and tweaking the game in playable state before it was released, having longer alphas, making sure to do proper volume-based beta tests prior to launch. It would certainly have helped Anthem. It's basically a year behind where it should be but it can get there. It has a good foundation with the game play and concept, IMO.
Also like the idea of getting the other studios to play/discuss each others' games and provide feedback and ideas. It does leverage EA's strength as a games giant with so many studios.
Lopaul @lopauld @darokaz Can you Share a list of actuals bugs ou or things not fonctionnals for the PTS ?
Jesse Anderson @darokaz I'm working with the team to get a list of known issues posted over on AHQ.
Lopaul @lopauld No news, no or few reactions from you on the forum. Tell us you're still alive, talk about your PTS additions, or special tests we should be doing ...
Jesse Anderson @darokaz Update will be coming in the next couple of days when I’m back in the office. Myself and the team have been going through the forums and reading the feedback from players, which we really appreciate!

Unless your name is Blizzard, who have been proactively ignoring player feedback for the past 10 years because they think they know best and believe if their data says players go above and beyond to grind for gear, they must think it's fun (development by metrics FTW). To the point where half the playerbase leave and much of the remaining playerbase is angry hahaha...

Well, we know at least one game where they can find refuge
