What's The Benefit Of GM2 and GM3 over GM1? I see none, For that feeling you're fighting Terminators from the future with today's weapons? But have acquired some future weapons recently and might check how GM2 fares this time around.

How big is the jump from Gm1 to Gm2?
As GM1 gets easier with gear increases. I know that Legendary and MW drops get better drop rates going to GM2 or GM3. So tempted to try a GM2.

Ah lol I just posted this question in 'today in anthem' thread.
GM2+3, do they give better inscriptions? significantly more legendaries/masterworks?
Or are the rewards negligible compared to the effort? Because in that case, I'd rather be a god in GM1 than a mouse 'just for the challenge' (for now, at least).

How big is the jump from Gm1 to Gm2? As GM1 gets easier with gear increases. I know that Legendary and MW drops get better drop rates going to GM2 or GM3. So tempted to try a GM2. Oh, it's big. Bigger than Hard to GM1. More like Normal to GM1. In GM2 enemies hit 3x harder if not more and have probably 3x (but could be more) health compared to GM1. I find the difficulty worthless waste of time since the drop rates are not 3x more and it's debatable if there is even a drop rate difference. My best GM2 SH run gave me a Legendary and 2 MW drops outside the boss MW. My best GM1 SH run gave me the same rewards. And in GM2 gear rating means nothing. You can be in full Legendaries and useless. Don't even bother going in SH without at LEAST 150% extra damage on your main weapon/ability. I mean you can, but enjoy taking out the weakest mob in more than 30 seconds. You need loads and loads of extra damage, shields and health. Synergies help and it will suck if someone in your team screws the setup you have (had a Colossus in 320 gear in GM2 going crazy with the fire and preventing me to build my combos and Ultimate. He did like zero damage anyway, but wouldn't stop even when asked. He would have been more useful by afking.). Oh and your badass Ultimate? Enjoy watching how it takes less than half the health of an Elite mob.

Enjoy watching how it takes less than half the health of an Elite mob. Good information, thank you kindly. So that means staying at GM1 then Or at least, until they change the drops for GM2/3 (they did speak of doing this, yes? Or was I dreaming?) Or I have a stupidly handy synergetic damage build.
IM(h)O, they should've just lumped GM2 and 3 together in 1 difficulty ("Freelancer must die"), and made the drops more significant.

Well, to be fair. They WERE going to have GM2 and 3 disabled at launch remember? But everyone cried about not being able to do it. I think it's obvious now that Bioware knew GM2 and 3 were not "ready" and didn't want to release them in the state they are in. Honestly for now, it's truly best just to stick to GM1 imo.

No point. I ran it, took double the time for the same reward as GM1.

I think it's obvious now that Bioware knew GM2 and 3 were not "ready" and didn't want to release them in the state they are in. I had this exact same thought. It's only because of all the whining that they were turned on at launch. And of course, it backfired somewhat.

None, unless they add some loot that can only be obtained by running them. Even if they had turned them on at some later date after players were higher level and could equip themselves better, there would still be no point in running them if you can do something easier, and in far less time for the same rewards.

Did get 3 Legendaries at GM2 in last 5 missions, 2 of which were in the 5th match just finished a moment ago; Luck at 98%.

I mostly do GM 2 stronghold which is the difficulty I feel most productive when I play provided the equipments I have on my character does decent amount of damage to allow me to progress in a 4-man group. GM 1 was (supposed to be) easier for sure but time and time again I ran into a group of randoms that were either clueless of where all the objectives are, or just flat out incompetent chicken dancing around then die. The sheer endeavourment I went through in order to complete one stronghold on GM 1 compared to GM2, where people are actively trying to coordinate, is the reason why I choose to play on GM2. And the reward does feel better on higher difficulties though it could just be luck. So to me GM2 is better in both player experience aspect and rewards aspect(farming efficiency). GM 3 on the other hand, is a totally different story.
