Ha, I don't recall making that claim, simply pointing out that there is a range of legitimate opinions. Except the ones I don’t agree with. They obviously hold the wrong opinion. Smilesja, you're a treasure trove of witty one liners.

Actually if you take a look at Star Wars tor you will see quite a lot of players create several alternated characters. So iwouldn't be surprised if this behaviour starts to pop up in Anthem too. Especially since there are ample ways to develop your pilots differently through character choices. For example?

January 2019 is 'back then'. In one month you go from like 15 armor choices to 2-3, I'm not even going to try and estimate some of the other stuff. I mean c'mon, people are at end game. It's not like we started the game, and the stuff started dropping as you progressed all the way up to GM3.
Well, I doubt they stripped stuff out. Rather, I think almost all of that stuff was always intended to be in the shop. Which wouldn’t necessarily be a problem except for this featured store idea where we can only see five different items every three. It’s a problem.
To me, that is stripping it out. I looked up the date of that livestream, Jan 19th with Ben Irving. Almost a month exactly before the game was released. If you're doing a livestream that close to release I don't think it's unrealistic for players to think that it's a good representation of the product they're going to get. If you going through menus and saying you can change your javelin's armor, and people see all these armor choices. Or that you can change the alloys and people see all these choices, as if the customization is do in depth. Then you get a game with literally like 20% of what was shown and no where near as many customization options, I think that's below board.
It's not players having too high of expectations, or players misinterpreting what was said. It's a company showing a more finished product than what players received after the company removed content to sell it back to players at additional cost, or release at a later date.

jesus fucking christ you are dense Let me spell it the fuck out before I again try to block you, again...without creating a new character you cannot replay the campaign. That means pilot level reset. That is a problem. Worse is that other looter shooters and bioware games ALREADY do this. Those choice you are referring to are character creation. If I wanted to create a different character I would...but I fucking dont You didn't actually say why pilot level reset is a problem. As alanc9 pointed out, you're obfuscating and changing terms again. This was the reason for pointing out those three original posts of yours. There is a difference between obfuscation and an obtuse reading of it. I suspect an intentionally obtuse reading. So congrats you’d win a debate using Oxford rules or something. But I suspect most if not all readers knew what they meant.

I think he means running jobs for the factions to unlock rewards. You are bound to do that repeatedly anyway or you lock yourself out of Legendary contracts and Quickplay, which is half of the already small endgame content.

We knew that cosmetics would be the focus of the micro transactions so I assumed many or most of the cosmetics they showed off wouldn’t be available at base. Granted it turned out to be less than I expected. I disagree that this was deceptive. The purpose was to show off what you could do, and it did, with the understanding that cosmetics would be the foundation of this game’s micro transactions.

Without spoilers, there was a point where the game decides my character is annoyed with a major npc. The options were both just be rude to him. Didn’t seem to matter which I chose. I did start a new pilot in case I ever go back to it, to see any differences, but I’m not expecting much.

Well I destroyed a mans life, not only his life but his wives as well. When I left them he was on the verge of suicide. A slave more or less. Granted he had a very shady past. His wife was forced into a career of licking stamps for the rest of her life or "else".
Other players have made other choices and the couple lived happily ever after like Mr and Mrs Bond in his imperial majestys secret service.
On the other spectrum my fountain doesn't work =(. Other have flowing water.
Most of the alternative consequences are at this point unknown to me.
