Raises elemental damage and reduces physical. What is being reduced?
Just physical damage from gear attack? Includes gun physical damage? Physical damage I receive?
Thanks

Thanks Supposed to reduce the physical damage you inflict, which for a Storm is mainly guns. Possibly Acid if you use the MW for that, but it's just for priming anyway.

Wouldn't acid count as elemental damage?
Physical is definitely weapon damage. I have a weapon with +225% physical on it and I definitely notice the boost!
I'm not sure if weapons with Impact or Blast damage damage count as pyhsical though sInce those damage types have their own names.
Not sure about melee either. The Ranger one could definitely be argued to be elemental.

Acid is physical. I know, but it's how it is.

That MW reduces physical damage from all sources.
All damage is categorized into 2 types: physical and elemental. Those two types are further subdivided:
Physical -> impact (white), acid (green) Elemental -> fire (orange), electric (purple), ice (blue)
Blast is a separate modifier that may be applied on top of any of the above damage types. For example damage can be classified as both impact and blast.
