What's the deal with Bioshock remastered? It's free if you own original though.
Which of Bioshock is your favorite?
My rank
1. Bioshock infinite - burial at sea 2. Made me cry. And you play as Elisabeth.:3 2. Original Bioshock 3. Burial at sea 1 4. Bioshock 2. 5. Bioshock infinite.
Didn't play minervas den. Heard it is very good.

I couldn't pick which one I liked more Bioshock or Infinite ....part 2 fucking sucked. I didn't play either of them until last year... talk about being the very last person to show up at the party..... I really loved beating splicers to death with the wrench. In Infinite,,I loved having a companion cpu partner that I didnt have to worry about.......The DLC's for Infinite...maybe the best DLC's I have ever played...( besides, Lair of the Shadow Broker ).

Finished Infinite recently, once I get my head clear of the plot, but I'd say it's my favorite. They all have their pros/cons, but was by far most involving. The plot is too mired and convoluted, kind of preferred the second for it and some c&c would've been better. Ending is kind of sad and "Woah, wait it's finished?". Liked a companion that always throws money at you, like that moment irl when you find cash in old jeans, sooo good.

I kinda liked infinite. So much so that I went back and tried 1. 1 didn't grab me, like everyone else. But then I'm coming to it a few dozen years after the fact. never did try 2.
I will say, the twist in finite felt forced to me. like they needed to make someone evil, and wrote themselves into a corner. So...contive to make the friends enemies as well. Still, I played it, and beat it once. Don't really want to play it again.

I really can’t pick a favorite. I love the first one, but in some ways it hasn’t aged as well, like Jack never really feeling like a character. And I think some of the gameplay was improved in subsequent games. I’ve never really understood the hate for the second game, as I felt the relationship between Eleanor and Delta was more interesting than any character relationship from the first game. Infinite is good, but fell short in some ways. I actually think the second game is the funnest to play for me.

Finished burial at Sea..real punch in the gut when Elizabeth dies at the end. And that cracking voice made it even "worse". Have to give them credit, few games managed to make this kind of emotional impact. Probably the most "bittersweet" ending I've seen in a game...don't know if I love or hate it. Overall, ( now with finishing all three), I'd say series has earned it's place, definitely a breath of fresh air in industry. All three have excellent exploration, art and environmental storytelling. Good voice acting and sound design. Solid shooting mechanics, with more "open" gameplay ( similar to Arkane games) that lets you experiment/be creative with everything at your disposal. First had the best ambiance and most realized setting, through story and exploration. The "clunkiest" definitely with poorly implemented morality system, though. Second was bit too familiar, but expanded gameplay the most ( though those "defend area" sections were really tedious) and ( imo) with the most interesting story. Third was more "streamlined", bit too focused on "clear-the-arena" action/scenarios, more convoluted story, less focused on setting, but far more emotionally engaging ( big+ in my book).
