Is Q1 2020 still release date? Nah. They announced a delay shortly before pdxcon in October. They've said that it's still coming in 2020 though.

New rewards shown on your BL2 account page. A nice Frasier Foundation jacket and a Camarilla haven deco (going by the amount of spots left, there is one deco by faction coming at least). I'm also questioning the timing of the new ARG, I don't think it is a coincidence that it happens around the time the "mass embrace" happens in BL2. Is Q1 2020 still release date? Nah. They announced a delay shortly before pdxcon in October. They've said that it's still coming in 2020 though. Going by the latest dev diary, they finished their alpha (system complete for them) already, I suspect they could have hit a late March 2020 release. I'm starting to think Paradox delayed because of all the stuff* releasing in March/April more than any other reasons. Now the question is where they are going to find a spot to release the game (probably June or August). *Other companies even added stuff after Paradox delayed Bloodlines 2 lol.

I doubt it, for if you listen to the audio logs of the ARG its labeled as "Red Christmas" and the audio log from Essence #4 makes it seem that there is going to be a connection. Edit: as far as a release date goes, I think having a 2020 first quarter release is something we aren't going to see for I think it would be them rushing themselves to get it complete for my guess is they might have been aiming for being alpha complete for PDXCon because it was to be playable by people at that event. I could see a second quarter release I think is still very likely, but I am not going to get my expectations up for I much rather have a more complete game then a game delivered earlier.

Alright, there's no thread for the first game, so I'll post it here. I played VTMB again as a preparation for the sequel (which is months away, thus I might prepare once more.. or twice... but there's no such thing as playing VTMB too much!). Now, certain events of post game are considered canon apparently (like Anarchs being still the main force in LA in the present day, no matter of ending). It made me think about making headcanon while playing as a certain clan. I'll put it in spoiler just in case: I have to admit, I have soft spot for Brujah in this game. Apart from obligatory comment from Bertram Tung, the game doesn't really acknowledge the PC as Brujah. Gangrel have nice chat with Beckett, Malkavian and Nosferatu are reminded of their clan constantly, Toreador have many unique dialogues with Hollywood NPCs, Tremere can have their teacher/student thing with Strauss (young innocent apprentice and old handsome master all alone in that giant house - who knows what might happen...) and Ventrue have at least some nice chat with LaCroix on superiority of bluebloods. Brujah? Nothing. They can't even rant more than other clans.
You probably guessed my favourite mod is the Clan Quest, since it adds content for all clans. Anyway, Brujah's clan quest is about breaking into the Chantry and taking away an artifict so Anarchs can learn Thaumaturgy or at least have a ransom material against Strauss (if he survives). At the end, you have a pep talk with Damsel. One of the conclusions is essentialy: "Control your Beast; think before you act; when you act, give it all".
Now, before entering the cab at the end of game, I was thinking: "Should I really go to Anarchs or stay independent? In the latter scenario, I have no allies. In the first scenario, Camarilla is out and Anarchs back at the top, sure... but for how long?"
Strauss was still alive and was willing to stand against LaCroix. Thus, I decided to get him involved with taking the prince down. It's implied that Strauss will become a prince and the PC will be his Sherrif. At any case, the PC has a very important position in the city - and tons of ransom material against Strauss that might result in his Final Death by his superiors if they would ever know about his failures (succesful break-in into the Chantry and the gargoyle rebel). The Tremere regent has no choice but to cooperate with the PC; maintaining the illusion of Camarilla as the city's main power while not sacrificing the local Kindred's freedom. A bit of cooperation with the main figures in Anarch movement and it might work.
(Bonus: Jack must be really confused because the bomb didn't went off.)
Unfortunately, we know the canon state of LA after the game. So what happened?
My guess - Nines wasn't really cool with Camarilla being still in town, even as a puppet. He couldn't see the benefits of maintaining the illusion. Possibly, there was someone else who had an issue with the new world order - and Nines was simply too passive to support the PC, just like in canon materials. In upcoming events, LA becomes a mess once again. Because for all their fraternity, Brujah couldn't compromise in order to bring some stability into Anarch Free State. Conclusion: Nines really sucks. Even in headcanons.

Downtown is the only area with an Anarch (Nine) vs Camarilla (LaCroix) thing going.
I blame the game for being rather poor when it comes to explaining VTM lore.

I blame the game for being rather poor when it comes to explaining VTM lore. Well, the way the game present it, Anarchs lost a lot of its influence and territory to Kuei Jin and latter LaCorix. And while Nines hates Camarilla, a lot of younger Anarchs are willing to switch sides given an opportunity (which is why Nines has to hide after Grout's death. Also, while Santa Monica is an Anarch territory, Therese/Tourette plans to join Camarilla's ranks as a prince. Hollywood is the only place 100 % under some Anarch's thumb). But I'm not that familiar with the tabletop game's lore, so I'll take you at your word on political situation being drastically changed in the video game.

Also not sure how long its been there, but www.bloodlines2.com/en/game-info, if you scroll down to the combat section, there seems to be some updated combat clips. Looks a lot more solid and polished than in the pre alpha demos.

I would have no issues with a Patty, provided the "Patty game" on how to kill her in amusing (or brutal) ways still works. My favourites were Blood Boil and Suicide. The latter always gave me a Darth Vader vibe.

No very very few people had asked for a Patty return. Edit: Also she can be dead. My money is on Spicoli. Yeah Spicoli the annoying Red Spot customer.
Nobody cares on him and his voice actor is also Brian Mitsoda himself. Perfect choice for nobody has asked or cared about.

Brian Mitsoda voiced a few characters in the game, including Romero and the news anchor. As for who it could be, not going to actually guess since...there's a lot of characters from bl1 that would be cool to see in bl2.

Of course you have made a joke i get that but maybe it still Patty because we can´t rule her out completly. Yeah i also kill her to solve the Vandal quest.
Lets hope that Brian Mitsoda doesn´t mean with his tweet the News Anchor because we already know that he will back for Bl2.

Lets hope that Brian Mitsoda doesn´t mean with his tweet the News Anchor because we already know that he will back for Bl2. He could be referencing to so many minor characters in BL1. Malcom St. Martin (the doc with dreads) One of the Giovannis. One of V.V. strippers, cops with names not named Frank, etc. Doris David Hatter I'm voting for one of the Giovannis, some were on line to be vamped, some already practiced magic and the Rosselini are already Revenants and I believe most were visiting in BL1.

Have people been asking to see Damsel? She seems to be the courier on the way to Seattle in Vein Pursuit which occurs right before bloodlines 2 so she'll probably be in it. (Ep 8 51:45)

Have people been asking to see Damsel? She seems to be the courier on the way to Seattle in Vein Pursuit which occurs right before bloodlines 2 so she'll probably be in it. (Ep 8 51:45) Ugh. My tolerance for being called “Cammy” was wafer thin fifteen years ago. I doubt age has made me more tolerant

She was the most caricatured of all the NPCs. As for if people asked to have in they sequel, she's one of the most asked after the twins, Jack and Nine from what I've seen.

Well, I guess if the character is one no-one asked for, then it probably won't be her. But either way, I'd hope that you're right about her changing the way she talks.
