I'll repeat it again, I have motion sickness (a bad case of it too) and I play first person games since the mid 90s. I just need to disable headbob and motion blurs (and sometimes other stupid special FX like depth of fields, well anything that cause blurring really) and adjust the FOV. Sometimes adjust mouse speed too. I even have to do it in 3rd person games. Saying that, don't do what I did this weekend which is climbing High Hrothgar in Skyrim while trying to walk over every steps...it was a bad idea (resulted in headbobbing). I'm excited about Bloodlines 2. Loved the first game and never thought, there would be a sequel. I've read, that you play a thinblood, I hoped that this time, yould play the Sabbat and the independent clans. Why would anyone wants to play as the Sabbat? They are off to the Middle East to fight the Antediluvians in 5e. A few stayed behind, but considering some Lasombra are trying to join the Camarilla now, they probably don't have much power base left. In fact, everyone is trying to join the Camarilla or the Anarchs (they officially split) since the Second Inquisition started. Paradox already announced they would add more clans as post-launch free DLCs. If the game is popular, they might cover most of them. I didn't know that Sabbat wasn't a thing in V5. I can't say, I'm happy about that. But we will see. Personally I was hoping to be able to play a clan, that was not in the original game, especially Tzimisce, Lasombra or Ravnos for example. If it is true, that it will be the usual clans minus Malkavian and Nosferatu, I will probably play Tremere. I'm doing a Bloodlines rerun at the moment, with a Malkavian. I love, how you know things about the other characters. I might try the Sabbat ending (mainly because I kind of like Andrei and I hate the Hallowbrook Hotel fight)

The official description of the Seattle Tremere. "Tremere were not allowed in significant numbers throughout Seattle's history, though that has changed recently. After the fall of the Pyramid, Tremere have sought allies wherever they can find them, offering services and secrets that were once only kept to themselves. At least a few Tremere have managed to settle in the Pacific Northwest. However, not all Kindred in Seattle warmly welcome the warlocks into their city, citing historical precedent and general distrust of their ways. Still, the blood magic of the Tremere cannot be denied as a force to be respected. Whether or not the Tremere are here to stay is another matter entirely…" It would be very interessing if Max Strauss could make a return. The Tremere has Auspex and not two paths of Thaumaturgy!!! Therefore they lose Dominate of course. Thaumaturgy:Skewer: This launches a small portion of the vampire’s blood at the feet of their enemies, where it erupts in a patch of razor-sharp spikes. Once they dissolve, a stream of blood flows back to the caster. Purge: This enables the vampire to make their victims vomit blood, damaging them heavily. A stream of blood flows back to the caster. Blood Boil: A master of Thaumaturgy may cast Purge for a second time on an affected NPC, causing the blood in their veins to sear. The wretch explodes within moments; bystanders in a large area are damaged. Blood from each victim streams back to the caster. Auspex:Aura Sense: This enables the vampire to spot NPCs even through walls, read crowds at a glance, and mark individuals to keep them in their sights over long distances. It also enables the vampire to spot the weaknesses in a marked NPC’s attack and defense. Psychic Projection: This detaches the vampire’s mind from their body. Untethered, they can explore the area in astral form, remaining free to use Aura Sight to mark any character they spot. Beyond that, the vampire’s mastery of their own senses has grown to such an extent that they can telepathically overwhelm the senses of others for a short while. Like in Bloodlines 1 using Thaumaturgy cause a Masquerade violation but Auspex is a safe Discipline. And here is my current Disciplines Speculation list. Official: Brujah: Potence (Exclusive Clan Discipline) and Celerity Tremere: Thaumaturgy (Exclusive Clan Discipline) and Auspex Speculation: Ventrue: Dominate (Exclusive Clan Discipline) and Fortitude. I have the feeling they reveal Ventrue next week. Toreador: Presence (Exclusive Clan Discipline) and Auspex sorry Celerity Malkavian: Dementation/Dominate (Exclusive Clan Discipline) and Auspex Nosferatu: Obfuscate (Exclusive Clan Discipline) and Animalism Gangrel: Protean (Exclusive Clan Discipline) and Animalism (very likely DLC) Ravnos: Chimerstry (Exclusive Clan Discipline) and Fortitude (DLC?) Only Fortitude would be currently the secondary Discipline which is exclusive. Every other secondary Discipline is only shared between two clans. And maybe a future Fortitude DLC clan could be therefore Ravnos.

Interesting way to trigger Blood Boil, it is just using Purge twice in a row (what is shown in the alpha preview at the end of the Tremere video). I was wondering how Aupex would work, even thinking they wouldn't bother with it considering how passive it is. It's practically eagle vision in Assassin's Creed now. Which means super useful for a stealth character... Preview article at VentureBeat too and Paradox stream later today.

I'm still little upset that third discipline is replaced by Thin Blood power (I hope there's an option to learn additional discipline as reward for doing stuff for some elder or by diablery), but I'm glad Auspex gets the treatment it deserves. It's a shame it was reduced to Defense/Shooting buff in original Bloodlines.

It's a shame it was reduced to Defense/Shooting buff in original Bloodlines. Agreed. None of the Thin Blood powers are anywhere near as interesting, or add anywhere near as much versatility, as the third discipline did to each clan. I was hoping to play a Nossie at some point, but them losing Potence is a bummer. Same with Malkavians and Obfuscate. And Tremere and Dominate. I think I'll still be playing Malk first, but Obfuscate will definitely be missed throughout.

Well this very surprising but Bloodlines 2 isn´t the only new Vampire game in the making. I double check this but its really not the Werewolf game. Here the Press Release: "After a first foray into the World of Darkness universe with Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood, BIGBEN is proud to announce that its partnership with Paradox will be extended and that a game under theVampire: The Masquerade licence is in development. Developed by Big Bad Wolf, creators of the episodic adventure game The Council, the game aims to define a new genre: the narrative RPG, inspired by the rules of the tabletop RPG. The studio will share more information at Gamescom in August." www.rpgsite.net/news/8483-an-additional-vampire-the-masquerade-rpg-is-in-development-more-information-to-come-at-this-year-s-gamescom

I'd never heard of the council before so I looked it up on Steam, watched the videos etc. and from that limited investigation it actually looks quite interesting and it's game mechanics seem like they'd gel well with vtm.
Though it does have a set protagonist which would decrease my interest if repeated in their vampire game.(i will play games without a cc but they have to tick alot of my other boxes)

Surprise Toreador and not Ventrue this week!!!
The Sneak Peek Power looks like Presence. A NPC(s) possessed bodyguard power.
But the most interessing question on Toreador disciplines what do they have beside Presence Celerity or Auspex?

Toreador have Presence and Celerity. So they lost Auspex. That is ok for me.
The Celerity powers are the same as from the Brujah.
Presence Toreador relish in their ability to turn a crowd into an audience, distraction into rapt attention, and aggression into adoration, by just entering the room. Their signature Discipline of Presence is at the root of this supernatural charm. • Awe (Blood Cost: 2), the first active Presence power, allows the vampire to strike a pose that freezes all before them into adoring wonder. For a short while after, these new admirers will be oblivious to anything but what they just saw. The • • and • • • • • slots upgrade Awe. • • • Entrance (Blood Cost: 2), the second active power, forms a group of admirers around the vampire. For an extended period, these hangers-on will follow wherever the object of their adulation may go, distracting nearby enemies along the way. The • • • • and • • • • • slots upgrade Entrance. Using Presence powers is not a Masquerade Violation. Celerity
Some Kindred are faster, dodge more elegantly, and can move with unimaginable grace. They use Celerity, the Discipline of pushing their bodies’ speed beyond mortal imagination. • Unseen Storm (Blood Cost: 2), the first active, allows the vampire to dash in any direction at such a speed as to confound their audience. They can land attacks, dodge around enemies, or get away in a lazy dust cloud. Characters struck along the way of the dash get knocked down. The • • slot further enhances the Unseen Storm. • • • Accelerate (Blood Cost: 5), the second active, opens up speeds so fast that everything else in the world appears to slow down to a virtual standstill. The crowds seem frozen in their steps, as the vampire dances between cars and bullet streaks. A more gauche clan might wish for a popular 80’s synth track in the background. The • • • • and • • • • • slots allow the vampire to further improve their acceleration. Showing off Celerity to innocent mortals is a Masquerade Violation. www.bloodlines2.com/en/toreador

I get the feeling that Entrance is going to result in the creation of many YouTube videos.
Toreador selling point from now on: get your own redshirt groupies!
Listening to the twitch stream, the Toreador's clan curse, in game, requires them to stay around large population hub (with humans in it) otherwise they will have issue regaining Willpower (the temporary type from the pnp not to confuse with the attribute Willpower, which can be spent on certain abilities to improve them...in-game usage include intimidating people or increasing success of in-combat feeding).

Next week is a litte bit boring for some but if Hell won´t freeze they reveal Ventrue.
Ventrue have very likely Dominate as their signature Discipline and Fortitude.
They have to show the Ventrue first otherwise it would be a silly marketing move. We all that the Venture are one of the 5 clans but we don´t know which the last clan could be.

Okay, so: - Toreador have to be around people as much as possible - Brujah are probably still more prone to frenzy (probably the easiest clan curse to show in game)
Anyone catched what kind of curse Tremere have?

Really no surprise but today clan is Ventrue. Because Florian is unavailable, they pre-recorded the stream but they have delisted the video. Resetera summary "Ventrue are pressured to drink from people with high resonance, as in emotionally potent. People with weak resonance provide little in the ways of benefits and only marginal blood. Gameplay encourages hunting down people with high resonance. - Dominate and Fortitude disciplines. - Dominate; overpower minds through will. Can range from rendering targets inactive, to commanding them to complete orders, like go somewhere, open doors, or attack someone. Integrated into dialogue for dialogue checks. - Fortitude; nullify attacks, draw healing from attacks, cause enemies to recoil from hitting adamantine skin. - "Ventrue sow chaos amongst the ranks an outlast the results." - Ventrue disciplines benefit from rarely breaking the masquerade." www.resetera.com/threads/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines-2-announced-march-2020-ps4-x1-steam-gog-egs-paradox-hardsuit-labs.106909/page-45

I take this to mean no Malkavian at release, we are missing a stealth archetype and obfuscate makes more sense as the Nosferatu's unique discipline than as the Malkavian's one.
It also means we are probably getting a very not crazy Malkavian implementation as no free DLC will ever have the amount of new dialogue required by that clan to make a super crazy one.

They are some hints in this regard (some clan have no shadow) but who knows the last clan picture could be anything.
The malkavian dlc is something like the Javik or Kasumi DLC. They recorded the malkavian npc reaction with the maingame but release the DLC 2-3 after launch.
