So, I'm curious, what weapons do people usually roll with? Select up to 2 answers for your [Favorite] Javelin.
Also, as I type these out, we do actually have quite the amount of different weapons... (not to say some are more useful than others though...)
For me, it's ralner's blaze for priming and truth of tarsis for sniping armored frozen fools in the sack.

When levelling up it was always Devestator plus Relentless but my two best Legendaries are Renewed Courage with 250% Physical and Cycle of Pain with 250% weapon damage. However, I usually forego the Cycle of Pain in favour of a MW Truth of Tarsis (+75% physical) as I just love the Devestator too much!
I tend to use that combo for both Hunter and Interceptor. The Storm uses the Cycle of Pain instead of the Renewed Courage since it has better range. The Colossus keeps the Renewed Courage and adds a MW Last Stand Autocannon.
My Ranger uses both Renewed Courage plus Cycle of Pain for the Heart of Rage, though. Cycle of Pain is a real beast against the monitor and all the rapid weak point hits keep me in the air in conjunction with a MW Tactical Advantage component.

If I plan to shoot things in GM2/3 then only the elemental proc weapons have any use. Otherwise the weapons are just stat sticks and which one I take depends on what inscriptions I want.

Two are too few. Right now it is Truth of Tarsis and Ralners blaze but Divine vengeance, Papa Pump, Rolling carnage and Siege breaker among others are good as well.

If I plan to shoot things in GM2/3 then only the elemental proc weapons have any use. Otherwise the weapons are just stat sticks and which one I take depends on what inscriptions I want. This is true by and large. There are minor exceptions (radiant fortress with acid prime component, ralner's blaze, etc.) but weapon damage doesn't scale appropriately at the moment, and because the majority of weapons focus on weapon damage they are mostly utter dogshit.

Thunderbolt of Yvenia is damn good... If you can get it to actually proc. I swear it only procs for me on trash mobs and never when I'm trying to take down those annoying Elementalists/Valkyries. I've also encountered it multiple times where I expend an entire magazine without a single proc. It feels like a microcosm of the loot situation in this game.

It doesn't always animate but the proc happens and the damage is being done. Yeah, I'm aware of the invisible proc bug. But I look for the huge spike in damage from the proc, not the animation. It's really obvious when it procs since the proc does so much more damage than the bullet by itself.

Sometimes it bugs out and the proc deals 0 damage on the same mob even when it procs fine on the same enemy type next to it. No idea why it happens.

Can’t really vote since I don’t have everything yet. I’ll admit I also use Thunderbolt of Yvenia a lot, but only for its +30% Luck boost. I don’t have many Masterworks to boost Luck so I bring the Thunderbolt all the time to help out. I will say I really like Papa Pump, Divine Vengeance, and Cycle of Pain. Also whatever the upgraded heavy-hitting marksman rifle is called, Soothing Touch. Unending Battle and Vassa’s Surprise are pretty damn good on melee builds.

Some enemies are bugged such that nothing will proc on them. For the vast majority of enemies tho, I find Thunderbolt works properly.

I use the ones that have the best stats on them for my overall damage output as I usually don't use them that much. It's really a problem because I have quite a few good weapons with additional weapon damage (like an Yvenia with 225% and another 150%) but because the whole system is so fucked up I'm using weapons that bring Javelin-wide damage and maybe gear damage, gear cooldown and additional armor. So right now I'm using an Artinia's Gambit and the Siege Breaker. These are actually good weapons for support but if I used them more for shooting I'd probably go with another version of them with weapon damage (which I also have for both of them).
It's the same with components actually. I'm using Rejuvenating Ammo (even if I don't shoot) and Thermal Cooling (wtf...) just because they have high melee damage or javelin-wide damage rolls on them. It's really annoying to go with stuff you have actually no or not much use for but carry it around for the stats. I really wish they'd just drop "empty" stuff with mod-slots and you can put in whatever mods you like.
In terms of what I actually like: Artinia's Gambit (for pumping a ton of bullets into something), Siege Breaker (for the Ice effect), Vassa's Surprise (for the high rate of fire and the sound), Divine Venegance (for the fire explosions). Unfortunately I don't have a Wyvern Blitz, not even a bad one - game likes to give me legendary dupes a lot instead...

350% extra damage? I didn't knew this was a possible number.
I also use a heavy pistol on my Storm which gives 200% extra weapon damage when hovering, but i forgot the name.

Avenging Herald. I have a legendary one but the inscriptions aren't too good on mine.
Plus, yeah, 350% is just broken
I think the use of weapons vs gear really depends on the type of Javelin you are using and the type of enemy you are fighting. I find my gear does next to nothing against the Monitor in GM2 but the Cycle of Pain is amazing. On the other hand, for most mob fights I spend most of the time spamming a Legendary Tactical Onslaught!

Currently have running thunderbolt of yvenia and wyvern blitz. Occasionally swap out the wyvern for papa pump depending on how much of a crappy aim day I'm having. I seem to collect a crapton of some machine pistol that I don't even like. I'm still missing a few of these weapons and have a few to test out as well.

Thunderbolt is dope. I have a Soothing Touch with high weapon damage, so it helps me get easier kills with weakpoint shots. Ralners Blaze is also pretty good. I find the shotguns to be underwhelming tbh. I feel like the grenade launchers could be a lot better if their proximity range was significantly increased. The only one of its kind I like it the Aftershock version, but I haven't gotten the Masterwork version of that type yet; only have Insult and Injury.
