My question concern the people present at the war table. In Haven there are Lelianna, Josephine, Cullen , the Herald and Cassandra. But after Haven, in Skyhold and after the nomination of the Inquisitor Cassandra is not part anymore of the people present at the war table. Why? In my opinion she still has her place there. Then Morigan, she is not originally invited to the war council but comes regardless. She knows waht Corypheus wants.... Ok. But after the Mythal temple mission she doesn't have to be there anymore but still is. Again why? Becuse she's Bioware'favorite?

In game reason: Cassandra doesn't feel like she belongs in the Inquisition's leadership.
Real reason: Morrigan was David Gaider's pet.

Before Skyhold the nominal leaders of the Inquisition are Leliana and Cassandra. Between them they got the organisation off the ground. So this is why Cassandra is present at the War Council in those early days. The PC is invited to be a part of it by virtue of being the Herald. What actually makes less sense at that point is why their opinion is given such prominence when people aren't even sure they are the Herald of Andraste.
Once we reach Skyhold, Leliana and Cassandra have decided the organisation needs a proper figurehead and the Herald fits the bill. So now they do officially offer you leadership of the organisation as Inquisitor, although you are still to be guided to an extent by your War Council. However, Cassandra no longer feels she has a place there because she is no longer joint leader of the Inquisition.
As for Morrigan, initially she is invited because she has indicated she has useful information which presumably the Council do not want discussed out in the open. After the Temple of Mythal, it is probably felt she still has something useful to contribute. Also, if she drank from the Well then probably the War Council want to keep her close since she has access to potentially helpful information, if she did not drink she might still be able to help the Inquisitor make sense of the information inside their head.

After the Temple of Mythal, I never invite her - at best I put up with her. After returning from Arbor Wilds, I think she is only present at the cutscene where you talk about who drank what and how to interpret the voices. After that, she no longer shows up when you enter the WT room. One reason I find myself wanting to get Arbor Wilds over with quickly after the ball, so she will stop invading my meeting space uninvited.

After that, she no longer shows up when you enter the WT room. Except she does turn up there at the beginning of the final sequence with Corypheus in order apparently so she can say what the dire consequences will be if we don't stop him. So it does seem that she is there whenever we actually discuss matters concerning the main plot.

I my game (I don't know if it is a bug) after the Arbor Wilds she pops up every time in the war room until the end of the game/ Corypheus. I find this weird because matters very confidential are discussed there and it mades no sense to have a witch with no affiliation with the Inquisition being there.

Does she? I guess I just block her out since I find her constant presence so annoying.

Yeah that just about sums it up really. Cassandra is there becaus eshe is pretty much the groups leader in all but name early on. I hink the Herald is mainly there to help initially wit hthe planning because whatever they do even befoer the Herald becomes Inqusitor he Herald still needs to be part of hte planning due to their mark given it's the only way they can seal the rifts and take care of the demons because especially earl yon there are rifts all over the place. Obviously once the Herald become Inquisitor and things start to calm down she's not needed as much as the group has effectively decided on who that leader should be in you and it's just a case of carrying out the plan that's in motion after that. As for Morrigan I think she's mainl ytolerated because of the fact she's familiar with the type of magic Corypheus is using so can offer suggestions on how to nullify it.
