Anyone else looking forward to it as much as I am?
I watched the trailers on the official website controlgame.com/ I think it looks great! Creepy and awesome at the same time. And it has a Quantum Break look to it so my inner fangirl can at least pretend it will be connected to the QB-verse.

I'd rather have had a Quantum Break 2. It had a pretty good time travel story and an open ending, that kinda demanded a continuation. Not a big fan of this paranormal stuff, so Control is not for me, though I will admit that it looks like a very creative game. Also, Epic Store exclusive.

Getting strong reviews, and it is so atmospheric (picked up a copy). Much to discuss but can't because this is a game best played unspoiled.

I'm really enjoying the game because I'm not spoiled. The exploration of the story and surprises are really making it for me. I want to discuss it but also I don't and I'm not seeing out information.

Just saw a pretty favorable review of the game (they gave 8/10 on a German website). Looks interesting but I think I'll get it when it's more like 20-30 bucks. Still would have rather had a Quantum Break 2. SciFi time travel stories > paranormal mystery BS.

I've not played it yet as I'm too bus ywith other things atm but I have bought it as i tlooked interstin enough to me it just will have to sit in my backlog till I eventually get around to it. Just no tsure when that will be yet.

I'm really enjoying the game because I'm not spoiled. The exploration of the story and surprises are really making it for me. Some background stuff: Character Ahti is Finnish of course and uses ye olde Finnish sayings/proverbs like 'kuin pieru saharaan' - 'like a fart in sahara' and such He is captured from a famous Finnish actor, Martti Suosalo

Hard to say... (tries) Elements of: Twin Peaks + Stranger Things + The X Files + The Matrix - the game. But it's not exactly those things either.

Basically you're just playing a character that has strange telekinetic abilities kind of like biotics in Mass Effect and you get a gun that can kind of be modified to shoot long range/short range whatever as it has a snipr/rocketlaunchre mode and a shotgun mode. It has a kind of SMG /pistol mode as well depending on what is required and you wander around what can best be described as a haunted building. I'm not sure what th estory is as I've been rtying to avoid that too much as I don't want to spoil it for when I play but it sounds like from what I've seen you're lookin gfor your charactrs brother. But that's the best way I can describe it based on what I've seen. You start off with few abilities bu you upgrade them as you go just like with most games as you unlock abilties you can make th estronger and upgrade you gun and all that so it's a little bit of a mix.
It's kind of Mass Effect meets haunted house kind of story really. If you're still unsure check it out on youtube but the reviews I've seen have been good to it. It certainly is a pretty intersting premise. Haven't got around to playing it myself yet although I have bought it. I may give it a go once I finish my current run of DAI as I'm kind of tempted to jump in and play with these various powers we get. I wasgoing to pplay a couple of games aahead of it that were in m ybacklog but I'm gettin an urge to give it a try so I may let it jump the cue a bit.

Really enjoying this. It's inventive and challenging. May be my GOTY (so far). Yeah it is a good game I've kind of stopped playing for now as I've got a bit stuck.I've gott othe point wher I need t ouse th eEvad ability and I'm struggling t ouse it properlybut other than that (I've reall yenjoyed it. Just no tsuer whether I should start again or comntinue as I am as it is a sidequest. I have been enjoying it in general though the telekinetic powers are really badass. TBH this is really the only 2019 game I've got this yea rso it probably is mine atm. Though I was surprised they didn't have different difficulty settings it is good though.

Finally got the game. I made it through the first boss and am enjoying it a lot so far. I even like getting the collectibles because of the background info they give. One thing I don't like is not being able to save anywhere I want (Jedi Fallen Order was the same way).

I just finished this game...and it's like a creepy Twilight Zone, Twin Peaks, horror/sci-fi mash up.....and the story and the concept is really interesting....i will admit tho that some of those side missions?.... ....super difficult and i had to fall back and just continue with the main story line....nit picking, a bit but just wished that the characters during those side missions would take you doing things for them a bit more seriously....not just "uh yeah go here and clean that crap up".....when the entire scenario and gravity surrounding the story is a pretty dark and desperate....it truly felt like humans was dealing with aspects waaaaay beyond their understanding and the game for most part did a good job of displaying that. Just that in certain characters in side missions felt like they was sitting around with their thumb up their a$$ while you did the heavy work.....to be fair i did see that in some side missions, some agents was already fighting the enemy when you came on the scene.....good game overall tho....

Yeah it is a good game not the best as the story can be a bit confusing but all in all i tkind of feels like a Mass Effec tgame but in a haunted house instead of roaming the galaxy and by Mass Effect I'm referring t othe powers and abilties you have imn the telekinetic powers as they kind of feel and work like Biotics in ME.

Here are my thoughts after finishing the main story. Overall I enjoyed the game. Things I liked about the game: - Lots of interesting lore
- Great use of video and audio, especially the hotline, Dr. Darling (the Dynamite video was hilarious), and Trench. It gave the game a unique feel.
- Interesting story and supernatural atmosphere
- Ashtray maze was a great level. I also liked the Oceanview Hotel
- Combat powers were a lot of fun
Things I disliked: - The pacing dragged in the middle of the game (it picked back up towards the end).
- Having save checkpoints instead of being able to save where I wanted. This added extra, unneeded repetition to a game that already had some repetitive elements (such as going back to the same areas for quests and having the game take place in one building).
- Lack of difficulty levels
- Too many respawning enemies in waves. It was fun at first but then started to get old as I had to revisit areas and see the same or similar enemies respawning. Perhaps because there were no difficulty levels, most of the boss fights were in side quests and weren't evenly spaced out throughout the game, leaving a lot of trash mobs for the main story. The side quest boss fights were interesting, though.

Wow...these are my exact thoughts!.....i couldn't have said it better myself.....well i could try and uh..uhm...but eh i don't think so.... .....yeah that dynamite clip was hilarious and i liked how they used real human characters in those tapes to tell the story, it truly gave the game an unique feel. Completely agree about the saving/checkpoint aspect....waaay too many times i'd get deep within a level...with no checkpoint and die and be warped all the way back to a previous checkpoint..(and fight enemies all over again.. )....i thought it would warp you back to the last point it saved, but it doesn't do that even tho you see it saving almost everytime you go into a new area or deeper within a level... Good game tho and for me some of those side missions i didn't finish due to frustrating difficulty and annoying spawns during boss fights....
