So, who makes it out, and who doesn't?
Anyone not in the poll who should be?
I'm voting a fairly conservative slate myself except for Melisandre, who I think has to fulfill her destiny at some point. I was going to vote Arya in as a surprise Stark death, but putting that clip of her running in the crypts in the promo materials makes me think that if she does die, it won't be now.
Would've voted for Edd, but I figure he's going to live through the whole thing for no damn reason.

Does it count if they die but get resurrected by the same kind of magic that raised Jon and Beric and not the kind of magic that the Night King uses? Or in Bran's case where sure, his body dies but he's able to warg into someone else so he technically isn't dead?

Let's base it on what we think of as the character surviving, rather than whatever happens to the body. So I'd say that being raised like Jon or Beric should not count as dead, but being raised as a wight would count as dead. If Bran's body is destroyed, he's still alive if his personality goes on in some other body.

Grey Worm, Dolorous Edd, Theon and Beric (he's all out of do-overs)
Sorely tempted to include Jorah and Jaime, but think they might sneak through (or at least one of them)

Dany will die. She's stubborn and obsessed with the throne and it will get her killed. Heroic characters like Jorah, Brienne, Grey Worm and Tormund will also die.

I'd be surprised if they killed off Bran.
But it would be cool if Bran allowed himself to be killed, in order to distract the Night King from his real plan. By using his ability to see the future, Bran could appear in dreams even after his own death, allowing him to continue the battle against the Night King. The Night King would never expect that Bran deliberately let himself die, in order to trick the Night King into thinking he was no longer a threat.

Looks like the biggest surprises were Grey Worm surviving, and the battle actually being a victory.

Plot armor wins the day.
Basically the heroes who were on the front lines should have been killed. From a realistic point of view in warfare, not many are going to live after such an onslaught of wave after wave, after wave of enemies hitting the front lines.

They should have built the bloody Wall out of our main characters, it might never have fallen then.
