Agree with most of you but have one gripe to add - please bioware don't slack off with this:
Males with female-like movement/posture or females with male-like movement/posture. I know Bioware do this to save time/effort with the animations or just overlook it because they assume only few people will notice but seeing my female inquisitior sitting like a well-endowed Krogan on the can and/or walking like the Michelin man is, although hilarious at times, still disappointing and immersion breaking. Seeing General Cully-wully run off like a total pansy, during a scene in WEWH, was also JUST WRONG

Thingum Approach? Woss name of that dreadful Mario jump and run map? I dont wanna EVER see the likes of that again. The Western Approach? I don't remember a run/jump puzzle there, or anywhere for that matter. There was the dumb make your companions stand on these spots (as if Tactical could make them do that) puzzle in The Xanax Plains. Unless you mean the Forbidden Oasis, that requires a lot of backtracking and climbing ramps and ladders to get everywhere? Or maybe that one pile of basalt that you had to climb/jump up too get a shard in the Hinterlands? Course, I could be blocking it from my memory, if it was awful.

Like I haaaaate female Hawke's ridiculous hip-cracking swinging walk so much, and the way she holds her wrists out like a little T-Rex, augh. I wish we could choose which walking animation we want during character creation so it fits with the character we envision.

Jesus, those fucking ladders! Western Approach was the unclimbable dunes I think. Best be doing away with all those Kinds of railroaded Maps.

Although custom walking/sitting animation sliders are possibly asking too much of Bioware. Consistency, otoh, would be nice.

You know what, they should just develop DA4 on that engine.

Just stick it right next to the "choose voice" option and we'll be all set.

The flashy combat effects, I literally at times can't see my PC in the middle of some fights. Static NPCs that look more like yuppies that hang out in Starbucks than people in a medieval inspired setting in a war torn country. Lack of armor options especially for non humans. Since when did Legion of the dead armor become the same as generic dwarven armor? DAO did dwarven gear right.

It would be great if in the future dialogue options without any new information appeared greyed out.
What was that Cassandra? Ah, you still don't feel like telling me about your brother? Seeker, your mistrust is cutting into my fully packed meeting schedule consisting of Varric telling me for the 812th time that red lyrium is dangerous, Leliana reporting that there's nothing to report, and, of course, wasting fifteen minutes on working my way through Josephine's incredibly long dialogue tree just so she can tell me absolutely nothing new about my crew.

Don't get me started, there's too many to name.
- Awful, awful control system lacking the 'double-mouse-button-hold' movement from previous games.
- Unimmersive camera view that made me feel detached from the game. No close-ups during conversations.
- Clunkly, unwieldy autoattack function
- Clunky, unwieldy party control mechanism
- Stupid, simplified dumbed-down tactics system without any proper mechanism for setting party behaviour
- Ridiculous, fun-destroying eight spell limit on action bar, rendering character builds completely useless, and taking all the fun and interest out of assigning talents.
- Boring, generic spells and skills.
- Game filled with boring, mindless MMO-style fetch quests and pointless time sinks
- Huge, empty zones with few interesting places to explore.
- Annoying, frustrating verticality requiring endless scrambling up cliffs with only a single hidden path to the top in order to reach difficult-to-reach items and locations. My one persistent memory of Inquisition is of me constantly slipping and sliding up cliffs and inclines in futile attempts to get to the top.
- Fast-respawning monsters.
- Removal of all healing magic, forcing me to rely on potion spam, further frustrated by limited potion capacity.
- Removal of passive out of combat health regeneration - yeah, yeah I know most people thought this was the best thing ever... but for me it just created a barrier to exploring the world, meaning that I had to constantly abandon exploration and return to camp to re-stock on potions. This killed immersion.
- One of the most potentially interesting quests, 'Wicked eyes and wicked hearts' ruined by the inclusion of that hateful, hateful, damnable timer which forced me to rush.
- The description of some of the war table missions was considerably more interesting that many of the actual in-game missions. Sadly these were reduced to clicking an icon and then reading a few lines of text.
- Creating some of the better crafted gear required actual farming for ingredients (i.e. killing the same creatures over and over again for material drops). Farming in a single player game is never a good thing.
- After all the hype of visiting Val Royeaux, the reality proved to be a couple of small quadrangles with a some building facades.
Above all, Inquisition was basically a single-player MMO in all but name, with streamlined and dumbed down combat systems and mechanics. If I want to play an MMO I'll subscribe to one. I'd like to return to a tightly-lotted, linear, non-open world, single player story-driven game with deep, meaningful side quests that tie into the main story.
.... Doubt I'll get one though. All the signs point toward DA:4 being some kind of multiplayer open world looter-shooter stuffed to the brim with loot boxes and microtransactions.

The things I hope will stay in (and die!) in DAI as the least verbalized, I'm afraid:
1. Retcones and lore breaks: qunari and elves - enough said. 2. Messed up plots with plot-holes size of Everest, insulting player's intelligence (and I do not care if it is a result of cut offs and restarts or genuine despise of player-base) 3. Negligence in ... well... everything. Someone mentioned eyebrows here, and this is a good example - you get an amazing unbelievable face editor, yet can not change something fundamental that even simplest editors can do. It's like getting a new cell phone as a present - all shiny and perfect but with a big scratch on the back. You still can use it, you can hid the scratch with the cover, but it's there. 4. Fan-service. Please, oh, please no fan-service! No characters pulled out of the grave only to please some part of the audience, no directions in the plot to satisfy several fans from forums - please, no!
The rest I can live with.

Not an important concern, but I would like the next game to AVOID using oversized character models for elites and bosses. Why the heck are these random humans taller and more massive than Iron Bull?

I hope they ditch the semi-open world thing. It didn't add anything meaningful, just a bunch of fetch quests. DA is better than that.

If they had combined or eliminated zones and restructured the questing system it would have made a big difference.

I prefer them to be as Bioware present them - imposing, intimidating, threatening especially on a physical scale - anything less and it's going to be difficult to take seriously in a game.

One more thing to add to the list:
The fug casual wardrobe options. Bioware, please get some fan feedback on the options before setting them in stone. Seriously, most of the non-combat / casual wear in DA2 and DAI were simply boring and embarrassing to boot: completely lacking in style and options especially for the more feminine female players.
