Worms? Plenty of bomb dropping though Good guesses but no. How do you score in Worms by getting behind enemy lines? I guess I really led people astray there. Worms has the right amount of terrorism in the teams tho. But my game aspires higher goals than simply killing each other.
More hints: A squad is made up of eleven. Usually not all make it through.
It's a popular franchise.
A conversion from table-top.

I have one. I kinda wrote it like a poem because I guess my mind automatically associates things like this with the "what am I?" riddles which often rhyme. I imagine this will be pretty easy though! A game where you launch no attacks, Real combat is what this game lacks, Walk around, talk to friends, A complex story, some time bends. Complete this game for a price, A villain hidden, a plot to entice, Save lives, but maybe doom them too, If you love story, this game is for you. What game am I?

My turn.
Another war. Another disaster. As red floods the world. We keep to the blue. And suddenly: Conn, sonar, new contact, bearing 355, designate: Sierra 1. The breath held not to be realized. The unknown out there. Conn, sonar. Sierra 1, now designated as: submerged submarine, Whiskey-class. All hands: Battlestations.

Nice!
Alright, let's do another one, not in poet form this time but hopefully strange enough nonetheless:
This game is the ultimate exercise in subjectivism. It makes you explore what is just happening in your mind. It makes you translate words, that have been created just for you not to understand and so you have something to learn. It makes you build things that are nothing more than simulations. It makes you seek a goal that, if ever reached will set you back more than anything else. Oh, and did I mention, your only two friends are programming errors that achieved sentience.

I feel like that one might be Nier. (Edit: Automata, I meant. Not the first one.)
But if so, it was the last line that gave it away!
Edit 2: Or Portal. It's possible I suck at this.

Jeremiah12LGeek : Oh sorry, I didn't see your reply (no quote, no notification. ). Anyway, I am afraid your last sentence is correct because nothing else was. Got to admit, I haven't played NIER yet. It is possible the description might fit it as well. From all I heard about it, it's got a very weird plot, too.
Pounce de León got it. It is in deed No Man's Sky. I always thought the actual plot of the game was quite cool, if a bit heady. The main problem was that because half of it is explained in alien languages, you can barely surmise what's going on unless you have collected a lot of the words. Didn't want to make it too obvious this time. So congrats! Get yourself a planet or something to celebrate.

Pretty much the only thing that really interests me about NMS and I might try it out for one day.

See my edit above on the plot. I liked it, though there are certainly issues with presentation. You can read the wikipedia synopsis here if you want the quick version.
