If we are in Andromeda - we are already post-Reaper War... more than 600 years after the Reaper War in fact. I said if it's in the milky way AND it's post reaper war. Not just post reaper war. What you said was:
If it's in Andromeda, the only timeline that makes sense is one that is more than 600 years post reaper war. There was no one in the MEU in the Andromeda Galaxy 600 years before the AI arrived in Andromeda. Heck, the kett have only beein in the Heleus Cluster for about 80 years. Ryder clearly estimates (on Habitat 7) that none of the remnant architecture they were exploring there was there when the AI was scanning the cluster for golden worlds.
So, forgive me, but I'm still confused by your statement.

I was talking about if the game in the milky way is a sequel or not. In other words post reaper war in the milky way would be a sequel and I think having unsavory characters and such like the OP was talking about would work there. In andromeda I meant if it would be in the next andromeda game that would be a sequel to the current MEA game and also I think it goes without saying that it would be post reaper war but I think of them (andromeda and milky way universe) as seperate so maybe that is my fault.

well I would have the Post Reaper War that Council gets disbanded and the galaxy becomes a Dystopia under the Rule of an God Emperor(Anyone but Shepard or T.I.M or Starbrat) 👆This. When He shows up, we go on a Great Crusade and purge the xenos filth from the galaxy. FOR CADIA AND THE EMPEROR!

^ Turning ME into Warhammer40k doesn't seem like a good idea to me Though, TIM's ultimate goal was to basically establish the Imperium of Man. Honestly, the problem with OP's premise is that the "Space Age of Piracy" had already passed in this universe. The major event(s) such as the Skyllian Blitz was pretty much akin to Blackbeard's assault on Colonial America during the actual Age of Piracy's heyday. Of course, you also had Balak and the terrorist Batarians we've encountered, but retreading that kinda erases whatever development Batarians might get in the future which paints them in a better light. I could only see OP's suggestion working as a plot point, if it were from the perspective of the main character. Perhaps, you are kidnapped by pirates or slavers from a human colony, but instead of being rescued by the Systems Alliance, you are instead saved and raised by a not so evil merc or pirate. From there, it's basically you living it out as an outlaw fighting other outlaws and even the Alliance/Council depending on how "scummy" you want to be. A game like that would easily be in the mold of ME2. Interesting, but not sure if it's what the ME fanbase needs right now.
