The problem with DLC is that I sometimes forget the control schemes, so I get back into the game and I wonder: - How do I work the controls again?
- Where am I?
- What was happening exactly?

I often do too but then I get around that s an excuse t ogo through and enjoy the whole game again a lot of the time. I cretainly think it's likely I'll play all the way through Shadow of the Tomb Raider again when I do eventually go back in for the DLC's

The delays haven't changed my 2020 plans. I am not getting Cyberpunk because it has no 3rd person. I don't have any current plans to get Watch Dogs because I prefer more story-focused games. I will likely get FF7 remake, but I don't have it preordered and don't really care that it got delayed a few months. The worst for me is all the delays for DA4. I really wish that game would finally leave preproduction. I really don't think BioWare would have even announced it if they didn't want to control player's expectations, but since it was reported that they were working on it they did some quick limiting of what players can expect. Personally I much prefer when a game isn't announced or really talked about until its almost feature complete because things always change in development and that way the expectations are kept to a minimum instead of the thoughts of what what the game might be start. Honestly I like the people that are speculating doom and gloom even though I think its just looking at what they want because then it keeps expectations low. For me it is less about marketing and more about the delay between games. Inquisition came out in 2014, and now it is 2020 and DA4 seems to be still stuck in preproduction.

I am pretty sure most of that time between games Dragon Age was just on hiatus. No work being done at all expect for maybe a quick thought or two while at a producers desk. For they had both Andromeda and Anthem they were working on at the same time and BioWare at least then only had two teams to work on games.

You could tell how even they were thrown to develop MEA/Anthem - SWTOR was practically in maintenance mode since 2016 because of that. No way anyone even thought about "Shall we do some Dragon Age?".

My plans didn't change. They didn't exist in the first place. There is a couple of stuff on a Steam wishlist that will eventually be published I guess. And that's pretty much it.

As far as I understood the comments that was just for the network aspect of the game because that is the team that is dedicated to The Old Republic as you said and that game has been on maintenance mode for years with the occasional small new story based content. Its not a full team that could work on a massive single player game like Dragon Age unless you want it to have the same scope level as one of the new story packs for The Old Republic.

I have enough games to keep me busy. Still on my first run of Pillars of Eternity and PoE 2 is already waiting. Plus Witcher 1 and 2 - and later 3.
I'm waiting for Bloodlines 2, but I rather wait a bit longer and have a good game than having a bugged game. We Bloodlines fans have already experienced that, so having the game delayed to finish it properly is actually good news for us.
I'm excited for Baldurs Gate 3 too, but that will have to wait until after Bloodlines.

For they had both Andromeda and Anthem they were working on at the same time and BioWare at least then only had two teams to work on games. They had a small team working on DA4 while the other games were being completed, so I was hoping DA4 would go into production maybe a month or two after Anthem launched. It would be best if Dragon Age could have its own larger team, though, so that other projects wouldn't cause it to be so delayed so much.

Planning on playing Ever reach Projec tEdfen and Code Vein after I'm done with DAI. Assuming I can get through Code Vein's CC within 3 hours or so now that's a character creator and a half given the number of options it has. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what I can do with it though.

I cretainly think it's likely I'll play all the way through Shadow of the Tomb Raider again when I do eventually go back in for the DLC's Same here, though I think sometimes it's tough to tell the difference between the two or it's a little bit of both. Latest example for me is AC: Odyssey, where I started a new game rather than just jumping into the DLC after a year and 3 months of not playing. But between the NG+, choosing a harder difficulty level and changing the gender of the PC, it kinda feels like new game almost. (Have to say though, I did like Cassandra much better than Alexios as the PC).

Save yourself some time and skip the piece of trash known as Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. Well I've alreday bought it so I may as well play it.Also whho knows I might even like it. A quick poll of people on BSN who've played it will likely show that it is worth a look, at the very least. I loved it, and although the DLC were a bit too much "more of the same", the base game is excellent.

Well I've alreday bought it so I may as well play it.Also whho knows I might even like it. A quick poll of people on BSN who've played it will likely show that it is worth a look, at the very least. I loved it, and although the DLC were a bit too much "more of the same", the base game is excellent. I agree whilst I've not actually played the game I like what I've seen of it. Which was why I bought it in the first place. Also somewtimes I find it's best to form your own judgement on a game rather than listen to others. MEA is a good example of this as whilst it's not the best ME if I'd have listened to people her I'd have likely gone nowhere near it but I made the decision to try it for myself and unlike som earound here I ended up enjoying it. So for me it was a positive move as I've nearly done 20 playthroughs now of it since then. Besides Oddysey's been in my library for awhile as I think I got it around the time it came out jus thaven't got round to actually playing it mainly because I've been too busy elsewhere.Besides I already know Hanako has a bit of a dislike fotr it thanks to the DLC's. Same with the Witcher as whilst I wouldn't say I like it as much as Dragon Age I've had some fun with the first Witcher game and whilst I've not had chance to play 2 or 3 yet they are in my library and I d oeventually plan to get round to playing them all. It's mainly because whilst I was tryin gto go through them once before whilst playing the fiirst Witcher my computer developed technical issues so ended up having to abandon my playthrough and I just haven't hada chanc to return to it since. But again it's something I'm looking forward to going through eventually all I need is a little extra time so the fact the one game that I am interested in has been delayed may be just the window I've been looking for tbh. So yeah I've go tquite a bit o backlog to work through. It's unlikely I can get through a;ll of it but if it's enough of a window to get and try some that's good enough. So reall yth eAvengers game being delayeds ma ywell end up being a blessing in disguise to give me a chanc et owork through my backlog a bit. I'll still likel ybe doing more on the games I do enjoy like ME and DA as I find them hard to put down for too long as they're my favourite games in my library it's just a case of pulling myself away from them long enough to play the other games.

The delays haven't bothered me at all. Cyberpunk so far is the only game I was looking forward to that has been delayed and I'm fine getting it when it's ready. I don't pre-order games or seldom buy a game on release so whenever is fine. I have a pretty large backlog of games anyway.

Save yourself some time and skip the piece of trash known as Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. Not a fan? I think it's the best AC game since Black Flag, and Cassandra equals Ezio as a protagonist. I'd recommend Odyssey as a huge and enjoyable slice of quality gaming.

I wasn't particularly taken by the first DLC but the Atlantis DLC was excellent in my view. I'm looking forward to the next AC game, hopefully at the end of the year or soon after.

Really enjoyed the base game, enjoyed Fate of Atlantis DLC (gorgeous, but needed more content), it was just the Legacy of the First Blade DLC where they fucked up. But given the backlash they got, I don't expect they'd make the same mistake again. All new mistakes, sure, but... not likely this one again.

I can't comment on that since I haven't played the dlc. I like the game. Looking forward to the next Assassins Creed game when it comes out.

Used to be, though it always had issues. The DLCs however are an atrocity on multiple levels that ruined the game and the series for the foreseeable future for a lot of people. Ok. I wasn't particularly taken by the first DLC but the Atlantis DLC was excellent in my view. I'm looking forward to the next AC game, hopefully at the end of the year or soon after. Atlantis made the main protagonist of the megastory a psychopathic bitch who murders her best friend for her fix and taunts her crippled opponent. Why would I want to continue the story when I have no connection to the main character we are supposed to be rooting for? Ok. Except they made the same mistake again already with one of the LToG, months after the controversy so they knew about it. They’ve shown that they don’t care so I have no faith that they’ll avoid it in the future. Save yourself some time and skip the piece of trash known as Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. I was fine with that, I'm finding Layla's story to be interesting and worth seeing where that goes next. Nothing wrong with a little dramatic tension. Though we're getting a little off-topic I guess...
