Yes, they come in RX, but the Rx lenses won't be the actual branded lenses unless your RX is 2.0 or less. If your RX is greater than 2.0, you will have to go with whatever lense manufacturer your optometrist deals with.
For example, my optometrist deals with HOYA, so he sent my RX and the Serengeti frames to Hoya. Hoya popped out the default non prescription lenses that came with my glasses, and they made their own brown-tinted, polarized, anti-reflective curved lenses then put them into the Serengeti frames.
They don't have the Trademarked and patented technology of a Serengeti lense like you saw on their website, but they are polarized and they serve me excellently.
However the downside of doing this is the cost. Here in Canada the cost of those RX glasses after tax was close to $650.00 CAD.

Today my Dad bought the LG 43UP8000PUA UHD/4K TV to replace an older 43" 1080p SONY TV that we had bought from Costco and are giving to my sister because her Insignia TV crapped out on her (Insignia is one of Best buy's in-house brands).....But anyways, this new LG TV SUCKS! I don't give my fluffy butt that it's supposedly UHD, because the picture quality is utter garbage. Even though it is only 1080, the Sony we are giving my sister is a much better quality TV for equal or less dollar value. The Sony from Costco was 399.99.....This POS from LG was, I think 699.99 on sale at 479.99)....But the overall picture is incredibly dark and everything has a yellow-ish tinge to it. Except when you set it to VIVID....Then it's complete colour overload. Everything is waaaaaayy over-saturated and so bright it hurts your eyes. Every colour looks beyond fluourescent and just bleeds one into the next, which creates a really muddy looking image.
I don't care that it's 4K, nor that it's made by LG (which is apparently the top brand for 4K TVs...though I strongly suspect that title is meant for their OLED line-up not their standard UHD LEDs which is what this one is).
The only downside to the SONY that we are giving to my sister was/is that is is slow.......Turn it ON and you hear a strange whirrring sound was it fires up, then the signal light turns ON....But the picture says "please wait while your TV turns ON" and you wait for about 6.5 minutes for a picture. The processor was dreadfully slow from a cold start. But once it was on and working....It had a really nice picture for a 3 or 400 dollar TV, and after a while you just got used to the slow processor so it didn't really matter. For the money, I think we are giving my sister the better TV.
I really wish Panasonic was still in the TV busines because for the short while that they made 4K LED and OLEDs....THEY were truly stunning! I have always been a fan of Panasonic over Sony or Samsung.....and LG, I still can't help but think of as GoldStar/Zenith....and when those companies amalgamated and the brand became LG -- if I'm not mistaken their first venture was cellphones, and good ones at that. Then they expanded into other areas such as TV, Home Appliances etc. I know they produce all or most of the panels for the TV market.....But I'm still not overly sold.
Going way back some 30 or 40 years ago....Samsung was never a top-tier brand, nor did they make top quality products. In the era of CRT TVs, Hitachi and Panasonic were the only two companies that actually manufactured their own picture tubes (and both were damned good ones at that. Both the GAOO line-up from Panasonic and the UltraVision from Hitachi were excellent TVs). Sony was garbage.....Until their TriniTron burst onto the scene, followed by the Vega line-up. But in the modern era of LCD/LED/OLED technologies....beginning with their Bravia models, SONY has a nasty habit of putting their absolutely top-tier quality technology and parts into their highest end models, and then selling them for a wallet-soaking, eye-gouging price.....While they put garbage components in their mid-range and low-end models which effectively make those a hit/miss crap-shoot....making them effectively unreliable because you don't know the quality of the unit that you're buying. You could get a gem, or you could bring home a total lemon. This practice (in my opinion and experience with Sony) makes them unreliable.
The Sony Bravia MASTER series A90J (short-formed to the A9) and the similarly spec'd A8 are really the only two TVs I would even think of considering from SONY.....But they're a whopping price here in Canada for a decent size of 60 to 65" which is what you really need to see a noticible difference in 4K.$2500-3 000 CAD. Of course the world's largest price tag right now belongs to Samsung's top-tier 8K, 98" behemoth that you would need to build your house around. Its price tag is 100,000 CAD. But anything smaller than that 65 inch range and the difference in resolution quality from UHD to 1080 is almost impercevible to the average human eye unless you literally go nose-to-the-screen.

Just bought the Logitech Z623 2.1 THX-Certified speaker system to replace some BOSE branded Costco one-offs that I bought a decade ago, the Companion 2 series I speakers. My dad has the C2 S2 ACTUAL BOSE speakers and they sound worlds better! I've never been happy witht he sound quality from these supposed-Bose....and considering that I have a 25.00 gift card from Amazon, I used that to buy a new 2.1 THX Cert. system from Logitech. The 25.00 negated the the taxes and being a Prime Member....I also go FREE 2-Day Shipping at no charge so my end price was only 200.00 CAD. I paid that for these Bose knock-offs way back when about a decade or more ago. Anyway, I've also heard this 2.1 system at Staples. They had one on display so I was able to hear what it sounded like...and I was quite impressed (though my neighbour won't be ) so when I found this same system on Amazon for the same or lesser price I decided to buy it today to use the gift card.

about two weeks ago I bought a new pair of Winter boots because I didn't have any. My previous pair were Sorell's and they were crap from the day I bought them. They were NOT warm at all; the whole front half of the boot was just cold, solid rubber...no lining or insulation of any kind, and within three months of regular use they started leaking. Had them for two years and I couldn't wear them for 10 minuntes and my feet would be soaking wet!
So this year, I made sure to buy a new pair. Only trouble is nearly all companies that I could find didn't carry or make my size anymore (US 10.5)....99.5% of companies only made full sizes.....I searched high and low, all over Hell's frozen half-acre-- and finally I found a company that made half-sizes! The catch was they were sized for the UK/EU....But a Rep helped me find just the right size, no compromises! And to make things more complicated...I also wear full orthotics so I have to make sure they fit correctly, which adds to the trouble.
But these boots are from a Dutch company called Pajar. They're 100% Fully Water PROOF, they're rated for -35 C....and they have 1/8th inch nails in the soles that can be used for traction on ice! (And they actually work like a charm!)
SO worth every penny! Would buy them again!

Speaking of Canada, I just received the Canada Goose Black Label parka that I ordered a couple days ago. $1275 USD with free shipping and no sales tax. It's about $100 more expensive than buying it in Canada. It is very warm and the coyote fur ruff is removable (Not shown in pics). So you don't have to wear it if your animal activist friends give you shit. 10/10 Would buy again.

I haven't set the tup yet, but on Sunday I ordered the Logitech Z623s to replace my aging Bose Costco One-offs.... I bought them on Amazon because the same system at Staples is 249.99 and amazon was cheaper plus I also had a gift card to further discount the price. Then I notice that the next model up, the 625 is "newer" (released in 2016 vs 2011 for the 623s), and it is smaller but apparently more powerful though maybe only by 50 watts. And it has a Opitical Input, which I don't think I need
Anyway....now I'm starting to doubt my purchase, I guess, only because I didn't know there was a 'newer' version until yesterday but by then it was too late.
I'll have to wait until I set it up to know if I made the right purchase. Unfortunately, it's NOT Returnable.

now I'm starting to doubt my purchase Nah, no need. Newer doesn't mean better. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Rewind. The hardest thing really, and what made me start to doubt my purchase was the lack of quality information about the newer 625 and then the lack of quality 'comparison' reviews between the (older 623s) and the newer 625s. To explain, some sites said that both are equal in terms of power output and sound performance, the only thing different is that the 625s have an Opitical cable. (which I don't think I need) so, fine. Then other sites I read say that the 625s have "true 400 watts power" while the 623s only have "400 Watts peak and 200 Watts RMS", a 130 watt Subwoofer while the 625s have a 260 watt subwoofer.....so the 625s are more powerful and produce better sound. To futher complicate matters I saw still more websites that break everything down in comparision charts and show the 623s to be every bit the equal of the 625s with the addition of an Optical cable for more connectivitiy. More over, I also read reviews that said the sound quality on the 625s was "very muddy" because the bass was so thumping...and at higher volumes the bass gets so loud it just 'buzzes and distorts everything.......The 623s though less powerful overall, produce much clearer sound at normal listening levels" And then I saw reviews that said the 623s, in spite of the age produce phenomenal sound quality and a range of listening levels and are every bit as good as the 625s. My thoughts are IF the only thing that is different is the addition of an Optical Input, I can certainly live without that becuse they are just going to be for my PC which I use for mostly 4K Gaming in my room. And I am sure that the 623s will sound better than the POS Bose Costco One-Offs that I am currently using. I just don't want to be disappointed int he sound quality, or....much worse, go to set them up and find out the cables aren't long enough to reach my PC. In any case....Thanks for the encouragement. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Well it was a helluva thing to set up and get working...But I finally found out that the issue was having plugged it into my UPS. I was getting power and things should have been working....But I wasn't getting any sound even though all the connections were corrrect. So I changed to plugging the subwoofer directly to the wall and viola! Instant sound. First Impressions: The bass is quite good and low tone sounds are the kind you feel....But the mid-range and high tones such as spoken dialogue aren't a discernable as I expected. I was hoping not to have to crank these speakers up to 50% or 75% to hear what is being spoken (as I had to do with my Costco Bose)....But I may just have to tweak it. And it's going to take some time to get used to after more than 10 years of hearing Costco speakers. Still it makes me curious to know what the 'newer, more powerful' 625s would have been in comparison. First Test was JEDI: Fallen Order. *shrugs* Meh. Next....I decided to try some music, so I put on Lindsey Stirling's "Beyond the Veil" ......" THIS is more the sound quality I was expecting!" Even with the volume and the sub just barely turned to 25% (not even the bass default of 50%) the desk is shaking! And the sound is wonderfully clear even the high end notes..... I would imagine these speakers were designed for music rather than Gaming. Upon further listening and testing.....There is DEFINITELY a marked and very noticeable difference in sound quality (from my Costco Bose) when listening to MUSIC. Even at 45 degrees, 1/4 volume on Main volume and Bass knobs...the music sounds full, rich, bright and loud. Every note is very easy to hear (and feel). But oddly enough when I play movies or games, the sound is not as loud or full. Anyway....I guess I'll get used to them. Not as powerful as I was expecting; was hoping for better auidio qulaity on dialogue for Gaming/Movies. My third round of listening tests at 1:40 pm ET: There's no doubt that these speakers sound amazing for music. I'm listening to the AOTC OST and every note of every instrument when playing "Across The Stars" sounds exactly as the composer/sound engineer expect it to sound. And the Bass knob is barely set to 1/4. The main Volume dial is just above the 'click' of being at 'zero volume' sitting around a 7:35 clock face angle, pointing squarely to the word "volume" on the lower left corner. Any louder, I will have noise complaints from the neighbours. Even considering my fluctuating 60 to 100 db bilateral hearing loss, these speakers sound amazing when listening to music. I only wish they had this quality when Gaming and/or watching movies. At 2:55 I started "Suugan Essena" by The Hu and turned up the bass to the default 50% mark.....and holy moley! Did that shake the house! Even with the main Volume knob turned to about the 9'oclock parallel 1/4 turn it is loud enough to fill the house! The clap of thunder at the beginning of the track actually sounded real! I tell you....when listening to music, these speakers do not disappoint. Every bit as good as I expected. I just am curious why I don't get the same sound quality when playing games or watching movies...... OK so between roughly 315 and 4 pm ET, I played Jedi: Fallen Order while messing around with the sound settings and my new speakers......and I finally got them just right! Not sure what I did whether it was a speaker setting or Windows or in-game.....But I barely have these speakers turned to 1/4 volume and my parents are telling me to "turn it down, eh!" (jokingly of course) though my dad did come up to my room and say "I'm just going to close your door, so we don't have it listen to that.....It is quite loud after all. I must say, those speakers do sound good!" So I guess there I have my answer.... Now I am properly satisfied with these new speakers.

Can anyone recommend a good quality bread maker that makes delicious bread and doesn't breadk the bank?
I had bought my parents a STARFrit breadmaker at Canadian Tire for Christmas....But then when reading through the Manual, it says "a measuring cup and spoon are included, but these utensils are NOT standard measurements (ie 1 actual Cup is their equivalent of 110 ml...which is NOT accurate, and they say in the Manual "if you use a standard measuring utensil then you will have to convert all of your measurements and adjust the ingredients accordingly)...which is BS.
So my mom took it back to Canadian Tire and is looking for another one. Of course, only after she left did I find tons of them on Amazon....But I am curious to know if anyone has a brand that they would recommend. My preference leans towards Cuisinart for many things especially drip-style coffee makers...But I am open to suggestions, please....

Don't know quite how to treat this thread?
But two things that have surprised me positively:
Chinese fountain pen 'Wing Sung 699', vacuum filler with valve. This is the slickest, most elegant and most nicely writing cheap fountain pen I've ever encountered. I did write about it in the 'Recommend something' thread, but yeah, it's good. Didn't revolutionize my life, since I've got plenty of exclusive pens, but it is nice at a nice price. The only drawback is that its system is not exactly for "beginners". You do need to understand vacuum fillers and two-chambers with a valve. But I'm sure there are YouTube videos explaining it.
Winsor & Newton 'Lamp Black' watercolor paint, both the "Professional" and the budget "Cotman". I've gone through my almost entire painting life without a black because I didn't like any and didn't get any to work. The irony is that W&N Lamp Black was one of the first artist grade watercolors I ever bought. I didn't like it at all. It gave things a 'sooty' feel. But the modern paint is something different. It's great to mix with. It deepens any color and creates great dark colors.

I've had a Breadman bread maker for almost 20 years and it works beautifully after all of this time. I had to replace the paddle once, not because it broke but because I lost it when we moved. It must have gotten separated from the machine and tossed in a random "what the hell is this" clean-up. Nothing sticks to the pan. It's the most durable piece of kitchen equipment I own! Sadly, that means I can't speak to current build quality. I would love to get a new one that doesn't make the vertical loaves but I can't justify tossing it out and I know what all of the settings do.

That's funny! I appreciate the recommendation. We settled on the Cuisinart....and so far we like it. The bread is DENSE and filling....but soft, nice texture in the middle, tastey.... We just have to find some recipes that hopeuflly make the bread less dense and heavy and more like storefront bakery bread,... soft, light, fluffy etc. I think that all comes with the recipes, hopefully not so much the Maker itself. THanks again.

Bought an Acer Nitro 5 a year and a half ago roughly. Had some issues with it, took it in.
Turns out they shipped the wrong adaptor with the laptop originally and I’ve been using a 180w instead of a 135w. Which naturally isn’t covered by the replacement plan I got...
They did some minor maintenance at least, thermal paste and the like, but damn that’s irritating. And a shit time of the year for something to go wrong with something I spent an extra $200 to fix easily.

I bought the same thing about 4 or 5 months ago and it has been very good so far it sure boots up much faster than my old lap top.

There’s some light fracturing near the upper right power port starting too. The screw on the bottom even came out on its own. (Haven’t found it yet either. Carpet time-bomb yay!) Some of that could be collateral issues from them giving me the wrong type of adaptor though.

I have purchased some few bad Fountainpens over the years, but I suddenly remembered one that is not outright bad. I suppose it's functional. But I thoroughly dislike it: Kaweco Sport. This is a German compact pen that must be posted (I never post my pens) to use, can only be fed from a short 'International' (orig. Pelikan) cartridge (you can use a syringe to fill an empty cartridge with your preferred ink, but...) and feels pretty awkward to hold and write with, not that it writes well, despite gold nib, being somewhat "dry". It also feels awkward to remove and replace the cap, the threads being sloppy. Finally, it looks and feels cheap despite not being it. And guess what? - This is a very popular and famous pen! Beats me.

This bad boy. Love it - it's a theragun prime. It's pricy, but it works wonders, for me at least. Does wonders for smashing those hard to reach places that you can't really get to yourself. I use it mainly for my lower back, hips and thighs, but Mr Seven is messed up and uses it on his shoulders and neck. I don't like it because I can feel it vibrating my teeth and brain .

So....Those winter boots I bought: I've had two pairs since November 29th 2021 and both have leaked even though they are guareteed to be 100% Waterproof for at least 1 whole year of normal wear. I returned the second pair earlier this week and got a full refund with no questions asked this time. I will never buy Pajar products again. This season is nearly over (thankfully) but I'll look for something else early on for next winter.
