Note: this is a remaster - not a remake.
We're all quite aware that Dragon Age 4 won't be arriving until 2022. We can also assume that the game will be released on the new consoles. What better way to keep the franchise in the minds of the public than releasing a remaster of the games so far? It also has the added benefit of introducing new players to Dragon Age and the story. Indeed, if Bioware plan to bring Solas and even the Inquisitor back this would make perfect sense.
So how about it, could you see Bioware and EA doing this?

BioWare has stated that they’re not interested in remasters, but I’m thinking that if all the games require is a graphical upgrade, couldn’t EA basically farm that job out to one of the many other studios they own and have not yet shuttered?
Personally, I’d be down for a remaster of either DAO or DA2.

Like all Bioware games especially the DA Games there is to need to remaster a previous game. They all self contained stories. Of course you unterstand more if you played the previous game but there is no need.
So new players can still jump in completely fresh in DA 4 but likely miss some of the minor reference stuff. If EA / Bioware want to do a DAI Remaster they already had done one. The current consoles generation ends this year to next year so i would argue its too late.
Last but not least new players should watch the end confrontation with Solas in the Trespasser DLC. That´s all they need to know. So why remaster DAI and replay all the boring stuff with Corypheus which isn´t important for DA 4? Therefore my answer is that they should focus on DA 4.

Not really. I don't feel like they are bad enough to justify just remastering them. If they made fleshed out DA2, I might be interested, but that's kinda beyond a mere remaster.

There are other games I'd prefer they remaster first, like KOTOR. Both DAO and DA2 sure look a little dated but not nearly as bad as other games and they still play well. That said, I wouldn't reject a remaster of the old games.

At this moment... not especially. I'd rather they concentrate their efforts on new games rather than remaster old ones. And as necrowaif pointed out, they're not really interested in doing that anyway. I remember a few Devs chiming in a couple years back, and they made it very clear they weren't interested in working on remasters. But if they could farm that work out to another studio, and go all-in on with next-gen Frostbite tech, then... sure. If you're on a PC, you have some mod options already, but obviously it won't compare to a modern engine.

I like to have a remaster version of DAO and DA2. Before that happens, I believe we'll see a remastered ME trilogy first.

You can market the remaster with features like '4k, 60fps etc'.

You can market the remaster with features like '4k, 60fps etc'. Why? Its very likely that you can play DAI, DA2 and DAO on Xbox Series X like on PC if you really want to play these games. And the PS4 version of DAI you could maybe also play on PS5. There is no need for remaster PS4 and Xbox games if they are backwards compatible to the new ones.
Sorry this won´t happen. Its likely that EA will port DAI GotY to Switch but as you can see this hasn´t happen.
And again there is no big story argument for a DAI remaster besides Solas wants to destroy the world. And this could be explained very quickly at the beginning of DA 4.

Interesting point about backwards compatibility but we don't enough of how it will work on PS5 to judge. Either way, remasters represent little risk for decent reward for publishers. EA is actually an outlier in this regard. Even no mark franchises like Darksiders have remasters. Fans will buy the remaster and if you gain a few new fans along the way then that's a plus.

I believe they just remaster one game and this was Burnout Paradise. So no there isn´t also Dead Space 1-2, Army of Two or Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster.

Search your feelings. You know it to be true! Nope, I disagree with each part. Me2 was the worst not best, the series has only improved since then with MEA being the best, never was upset at ME3's ending, etc.

I've never mentioned Burnout Paradise. This is the Dragon Age 4 section, my friend. Rumours are the currency here. EA can walk back their no remaster policy. There's been strong hints that there could be Mass Effect remaster coming.

If they did, it would almost certainly be handled by one of EA's other studios while Bioware focused on new games. After all it is only applying a fresh coat of paint so some small group could do that.

Of course the rumour part is here in DA 4 section juicy and spicy but over years how many Mass Effect remaster hopes were crushed? Its same as Jade Empire 2. Very unlikely but not clearly impossible. So again only released games and therefore remaster should matter because these games you can play.

Alas, unlike Jade Empire, there is some reason to believe Mass Effect remasters are going to happen. We've heard coy hints from notable Bioware insiders that a Mass Effect remaster is happening. Sadly it's radio silent on Jade Empire's part.
