Just wanted to share this Sera pic Danaduchy posted... I'm not normally a fan of modding characters, but the ones shown here look really nice and still fit her character. (Well, maybe the outfit is a bit too sparkly, but aside from that... ) Source.

The ones with Sera on Iron Bull/The Inquisitor remind me of the conversation she has with Iron Bull about riding on him into battle and shooting from his head so they could be the ultimate weapon on something like that. Also, the one with Leliana is really cute. Does Sera every say anything specific about her in that way during the game?

Silvery Sera says, "Leliana is pretty in places. Swear I've seen her, too, or that she used to play, but... that'd be mad." There's also this back-and-forth messenger banter: Messenger: I'm sorry. These are from... Leliana: Sera. Obviously. Who else would send me frilly underthings by runner? Wait! Are these Josephine's? (later) Messenger: Sister Leliana would prefer if you didn't use Inquisition runners for your pranks. Sera: Could have sworn she used to be fun. Looks it anyway... Messenger: (whispering) She did ask someone to hang the ambassador's frilly underthings from a banner pole in the courtyard. Sera: (laugh) I knew it!

Thanks for the detailed response. Makes me wonder how an interaction between Pre-DA:O Leliana and Sera would have gone? No problem! I imagine Leliana's Song era Leli and Sera (provided she was aged up lolol) would've caused so much chaos. Or should I say MAYHEM. Everything would be arrows and underwear and getting one over on the local nobles. I'm 100% certain Josie wears bloomers. 😋

Also, since this is the Sera thread and I got lost in a dragon age black hole. I found this, never seen anyone pair Josie and Sera before. Source

Watched an "Us Cookies" video with a slightly different dialogue choice than I usually take, hit me in the feels:
Inky: This is grand, but why here instead of, I don't know, somewhere with an oven? Sera: Because I wanted us to be alone, so I could see how you reacted. In case, I don't know... you laughed.

A question for the experts here: is there a bug in Sera's interaction track in that she rejects the romance proposal ("I'm interesed in you") in spite of high-enough approval if you don't read her Codex entry (triggering the update message that doesn't show on its own) after the roof scene? Because that's the only difference, as far as I can determine, between a game where it didn't work and one where it did.

So, just to throw a question out there... how do you think Sera would react to your Warden and your Hawke? Would they get along? Would she find them stuffy? Think they're an arsehole? Fall madly in love? I think Sera would come away with a different view of nobles after spending some quality time with Catherine Cousland. Catherine always viewed her status not as merely a vehicle of privilege, but a tremendous responsibility she sought to fulfill in service to the people. Perhaps Sera would remember her delivering that box to the mysterious door in Denerim? Catherine would be quick to recognize Sera's talent and unique perceptions about people; Sera would see the HoF as someone who has made a lot of sacrifices for the greater good. They're probably too different to ever be close friends, but they would educate and entertain each other over a pitcher of ale. Sera has a little more in common with Jett Hawke, though the latter is also a noble. Both of them seem to spend a lot of time fighting brush fires and solving problems using a variety of methods. I suppose the biggest difference is that Sera works outside legal authority and sometimes thwarts nobles' schemes whereas Hawke mostly works with nobility and authority (the city guard) to accomplish similar goals. They could be friends.

What I find interesting about Sera is that she manages to be a lefty and a righty all at the same time.
Sera wants to stick it to the rich and loves working as a champion of the poor, which usually are lefty themes. At the same time, she doesn't want people to see her as an elf. She wants to be seen as an individual first and foremost, which is a more righty attitude to it. Then we have the fact that she doesn't agree with people who cling to eternal grudges because of history.
And of all things Sera said, what really stuck with me was that line about "doing the hurt for them". We shouldn't spend time dwelling in the horrible things people have said or done to us. That's just helping them be more successful at what they tried to do.

Fall madly in love? Oh, she wouldn't like my Warden at all. He is real elfy, a total stick in the mud personality wise and honestly... quite judgmental of others. Snarky Hawke, though? BEST. FRIENDS. EVER. And I usually tried to tone down the snark a bit so he wouldn't be too much of an ass.

So, just to throw a question out there... how do you think Sera would react to your Warden and your Hawke? Would they get along? Would she find them stuffy? Think they're an arsehole? Fall madly in love? I imagine she'd be a little afraid of my Amell Warden;
"Him, O' Mighty Hero of La-de-da? Don't think I trust him... and no, it's not because of the magic thing. I mean, he seems like he's alright, all polite and the like... but then you look passed his eyes and that smile and... I dunno. Kinda reminds me of Bull a bit, like he's got a plan to kill everyone he meets or something?"
I think she'd get along with my mage Hawke though;
"Okay, I can see why Varric likes him, he's proper funny. They were telling this story in the tavern last night about some pirate friend of theirs, that made Blackwall snort his drink right in Cabot's face! He's well scruffy though, inne? I thought Champions were supposed to be all prissy and wear fancy armour? I saw him walk past Vivienne in the courtyard and she made a face like she'd sat on her hat!"

I really need to romance her... Prob is, I have yet to craft anyone proper for her. Yeah I'm rtying to romance her with my Linet in my current playthrough as I've not done her romance before either I've done everyone at least once except Sera's and Dorian's but again like you I've found it hard to create a character that I felt suited Sera.

Fall madly in love? I think considering most of my Hawke's end up falling for Isabella given Izzy loves sarcasm Most of my Hawke's would probably get along with Sera too. Not too sure about my Warden's though most of them would probably feel she's a bit of a nutcase

From what I found here:Until of course, on a whim, Sera sends Josephine's underthings to Leliana via messenger which is where we get this delightful exchange. [Please note, these occur when your Inquistor stands next to Leliana and there's a messenger there in Skyhold. You just need to stand a few moments next to them to hear it. These also occur for Josephine and Cullen - Table banter.] Also, this audio recording I found of said banter.I can't seem to find the moment it would occur in the game though.

Maybe I'm too slow, but I don't understand what the Inquisitor does in the Verchiel quest when you pick the nobility knowledge option.
S/He... bullies the noble guy into giving up Orlesian lands to the Inquisition?

Am very much enjoying the dynamic between Sera and my Lavellan. They're like the worst couple of mismatched sisters ever. The Inquisitor is ruthlessly stern and practical, and has a hard time following her whimsical thought processes, looks down on her for having no discipline or concept of responsibility, and is rather offended that Sera doesn't want to identify as Dalish and turns her nose up at their heritage.
Meanwhile, Sera keeps trying to make the Inqusitor understand how silly and pointless the whole Dalishy thing is now that she's in human lands, and how strange and intimidating people find her, which she can't imagine anyone actually wanting, and keeps poking fun at her and undercutting her authority to remind her that her title and responsibilities shouldn't make her better than anyone else.
It's like one extended eye-roll on one side and a perpetually stuck-out tongue on the other. Quite lovely.
