I of course got Spellweaver during Sacred Ashes quest. That, however, is level 6 and doesn't level up and therefore has only two rune slots. For shield, I have "Fade Wall" from "Unbound" quest. What's the best combo in terms of mana regeneration?

Maric's Blade and Cailan's Shield as a set grant +5 regen per the wiki. That's about as good as it gets.

I got Fade Wall off of Gaxghang for the first time and thought something in combo with that would work best. Aside from Spellweaver, maybe Duncan's sword, but none of those combos match the Maric and Cailan combo. Is it +5 for all platforms?

I use Spellweaver since you don't really get any other chance to use it. The electric damage is sort of like a mid level rune. Has +5 magic for whatever that is worth.
I don't really run shields on AW's any longer, so off-hand is Edge or Rose's Thorn. Fade Wall is good, but that is real late game. Before that there are various + regen or stamina shields, or can go attack if nothing else. Dead Coat of Arms, Eamon's, Warden Tower

Dead Coat of Arms, Eamon's, Warden Tower I would've thought Spellweaver + Fade Wall would be the ultimate combo -- two weapons that seem designed for AWs. But you can't beat the +5 regen of the Maric + Cailan combo. (Or can you?) I'll have to keep better track of +regen items next PT.

No you can't beat +5 regen, that is why a lot of people think that set is broken. I played most of my DAO without that DLC though so I didn't have it until recently. Even so I prefer dual wield for melee on AW, so I likely wouldn't really run it at this point anyway.
Fade Wall is probably the best vanilla game shield for AW though. +1 regen, +25 stamina. Duncan's has similar regen rate, but no + stamina and you don't get it earlier. Dead Coat of Arms (+1 regen) is theoretically available right after you get to Lothering, as long as you can slog through Denerim alley random encounters and the Black Vial Revenant who drops it.
As far as your vanilla 1H weapon goes, Veshialle has +1 regen and is likely better than Spellweaver if you have enough magic (magic not spellpower replaces strength for melee damage calc under combat magic despite description).
Duncan's Sword has +2 regen, but is also from RTO.
