I tend to drift more heavily towards Mass Effect over Dragon Age- it just tickles my fancy a little-lot more.
DA:O 1. I may not have enjoyed it so much because I crammed through it in 3 days. I was so tired, I couldn't really remember the story as I played it. I used my roommate's disc back in college and he was about to move out. DA2 0. I watched gameplay and the movie version on YouTube and it just didn't seem like my type of game. DA:I 3. I really liked the role of the Inquisitor, so I fear without him, I may not make it more than 1 playthrough in DA4.
When compared to the Mass Effect series, its obvious there's something there in the Dragon Age series that just doesn't do it for me.
ME: 3 ME2: 4 ME3: 5
Oh, and that spinoff game
ME:A .9

I've played through the trilogy twice, and just started DA:O for another run this past weekend. I like all three games, and I even think DA2 is somewhat underrated, but they do take quite a bit of time investment, and I never seem to zip through games the way some people do. (If I finish DA:O in a month, that will be pretty efficient by my standards.)
Fantasy isn't my favorite setting - like others in this thread I lean more towards Mass Effect (whose trilogy I can also compete in considerably less time) - but the character freedom and dialogue choices still make Dragon Age a worthwhile endeavor for me. Objectively, I think the Witcher trilogy is probably better-written and has less filler content, but Geralt is more of a fixed quantity even though you do have some meaningful decisions and dialogue choices. I was actually planning another Witcher run but was reading through a debate on how mages are treated in the DA universe on another site and it made me decide to go with DA instead. (But I'm not especially looking forward to all the fetch quests in DAI!)

Yeah the DA games definitel ytake longer on th ewhol et oget through than the ME games I think that's the main reason a tleas tfor me why I have less playthroughs o fDA than I d oof ME plu squiet often after completing a DA run because the ytake a while I often fee lthe need t ocom eup for air so to speak. I get the feeling I'll definitely feel that need when I do get to the end of DAI Bus ywit hDA2 atm afte rfinishing my latest DAO playthrough a couple of days ago. DAO and its DLCs - I played this game so many times that I have completed it enough to earn all the PSN trophies multiple times. DA2: I played it twice. Once as a Mage and once as a Rogue. I plan to play it again. DAI: I'm currently on my 2nd play through and plan to do another one later this year.
My favorite game of all time by Bioware is the original Baldur's Gate and than DAO.

DAO: Somewhere between 6 and 10 times, I've completely lost count.
DA2: 4 including this current playthrough.
DAI: 4
Guess which one I'm already most excited to replay again, despite having finished it a month ago.

Dragon Age Origins: Beaten 2 times, played 4 times Dragon Age II: Beaten 2 times Dragon Age Inquisition: Beaten 1 time, played 3 or 4 times
I got DAI for PS4 a few years ago, but I didn't get really invested in it until 2019. Picked it up again during quarantine, loved it, and decided to get the other games once I had a PC that could run them. Had trouble getting into Origins at first, but then something about it finally clicked and I beat the game twice over the last summer. Then I played DAII. Now I'm currently playing through Inquisition with my first custom worldstate.
So, basically, I went in reverse order: DAI > Origins > DAII > back to Origins > DAII again > current playthrough of DAI. (Not counting the several times I started Origins & Inquisition and was unable to get invested in that character lmao)

I played the same Warden about 10 times because I kept changing my mind about his appearance or dialogue choices. I only played DA2 three times, though that doesn't mean I don't love the game. DAI: 6 times. And at this point I can't stand to hear any of the dialogue that is already burned into my brain. Yeah that was me in DAO.

I am too lazy to check, but this is what I recall for I purged a lot of save files over the last couple of years.
Dragon Age: Origins - Completed three times for achievements with untold starts and stops while completing all Origin stores. Dragon Age 2 - Completed twice for achievements with one really short game that I stopped at after arriving in Kirkwall. Dragon Age: Inquisition - Complicated. I have two complete saves, but probably over 15 attempts to play a final time to play all the DLC which I have never played. Currently have a game in progress, but taking it slow.
Its easier if I count my Mass Effect games in the hundreds of hours per game instead of characters.

DAO - 8
DA2 - 8
DAI - 8
DAO recover lost games - 4 (for some reason, the DA Keep lost track of my game characters, my saves only roll credits)
DA2 recover lost game - 1 (same DA Keep issue)
DAI recover lost game 1 - (may have to do another, as a second character's run has now disappeared from the Keep)
ME1 - 41 (20 new games, 21 NG+ to import into ME2 at level 60)
ME2 - 20
ME3 - 21 (one NG+ to score weapon achievement)
ME1LE - 3
ME2LE - 3
ME3LE - 2 (in midst of 3rd run, but real life has sideswiped that run, stuck just prior to Grissom Academy)

If the character isn't available I tried to mod it or take the most like the other in the place of: Once through with each combo of companions. Example: Wrex & Garrus, Wrex & Liara, Wrex & Tali and so on then Garrus & Liara, Garrus & Tali and so on. Makes for many a playthrough: ME: 24 ME2: 16 ME3: 16
DA:O::3 times DA2:: 4 times DA:I:: No Spoilers. Started 1...however it became a bugged out mess. No fault of the game just current PC setup. So waiting till new PC done.

This is pure guesswork, but....
Origins: Probably completed it 20 times.
DA:2: Probably completed it 18 times.
Inquisition: Actually completed it twice, but have made around five attempts to play it. The problem is I suffer from burnout with this game. There's just so much scrabbling around huge empty regions, picking up things, fighting the same respawning enemies again and again and again, constantly attempting to scrabble up impassable slopes and cliffs in futile efforts to grab some exclamation point that I can't get to....and the combat is pretty lacklustre when compared to the first two games.
When DA:I is good it's very, very good, but when it's bad it's horrid. I have such a love/hate relationship with it.
Having said that I'm on a new playthrough right now, and no feeling of burnout yet, and I've gotten as far as the Western Approach. I even managed to get through the dreaded Wicked Hearts Wicked Minds, with much gnashing of teeth and ill will toward Bioware...
Still have the dreaded Exalted Plains to endure, which is when the burnout often occurs, but we'll see what happens.

My last playthrough I skipped Hissing Wastes, Forbidden Oasis, Storm Coast, Fallow Mire, and Exalted Plains. The only optional areas I visited were Emprise du Lion, and Emerald Graves. I also did all three DLC.

I also did all three DLC. Your suggestion is sensible, and it's exactly what I SHOULD do if I had any sense. But I can't, I just can't. I'm a hopeless completionist and almost OCD when it comes to video games. The thought of leaving regions unexplored or quests undone just keeps burning in my mind, and I can't feel satisfied until they're all done, I hate leaving things undone in a quest log. I once did an Origins playthrough where I forgot to do the final part of the Mage's Collective where you either give lyrium to the guy in Redcliff, or betray the collective. I felt so unsatisfied after completing the game that I loaded up a save from days ago and replayed the whole lot just to satisfy myself. Having said that even I draw the line at collectibles. Bottles and mozaic pieces can get stuffed! Those stupid shards though... I haven't picked up a single one so far, and I tell myself I'll ignore it all this time... but I know deep down that at some point I'll go into the zones and start collecting the damned things.

I haven't picked up a single one so far, and I tell myself I'll ignore it all this time... but I know deep down that at some point I'll go into the zones and start collecting the damned things. Yeah I try t opick u penough shards t oopen the cold doors a tleast as tha tcomes in very hand yfor the JOH DLC late ron bu the othe rdoors I consider optional sometimes I open them sometimes I don't.

You could skip the Exalted Plains and other areas that are not essential to the plot ...
My last playthrough I skipped Hissing Wastes, Forbidden Oasis, Storm Coast, Fallow Mire, and Exalted Plains. The only optional areas I visited were Emprise du Lion, and Emerald Graves. I also did all three DLC. If you are playing PC version, there are some mods on Nexus that can actually save you sometime. One of them is jumping mod. I usually jump through the hills such that I don't need to go far far around just to find the right path to go up the hills. There is another mod that deal with Shards, it can 1) greatly reduce the number of shards required to open per each door. 1 for the 1st door, 2 for 2nd and 3 for the 3rd door. 2) You can choose whether to retain the same number of shards on each map such that you can collect all of the required shards or it greatly reduced the number of shards required to collect per each map. This does help to reduce the "check-list" need to fill-in per each area.
