Like I've said, the moment he showed up, saying he was an elf and a mage on top of that, he should have been shot dead. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is, considering the circumstances under which he appeared. At the very least, he should have been missing a few fingers, some teeth, part of the nose, ears clipped, absolutely. And then killed. Strange. It was Blackwall I had pegged as a liar from the start. I pegged both, even predicting Solas was the Dread Wolf from pretty much the start.

Solas was clever and manipulative Like I've said, the moment he showed up, saying he was an elf and a mage on top of that, he should have been shot dead. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is, considering the circumstances under which he appeared. At the very least, he should have been missing a few fingers, some teeth, part of the nose, ears clipped, absolutely. And then killed. BioWare's always made certain concessions for specific characters to work them into our PC's roster, and Solas is definitely not the most egregious example either. That title still goes to Legion, who is permitted to enter the Quarian flotilla without everyone freaking the fuck out and shooting that clearly gethy looking geth right in the lightbulb. At the very least, Solas can take advantage of the chaos and catastrophe in that it would affect people's priorities.

My point was from my point of view but the full intent is, even if it’s synthesis and it goes with the story/writing and such; there will be those who played for the RP elements not the narrative. And they’ll be very let down to see their decision to live at any cost even friends; now just doesn’t matter. I won't play if it's Synthesis.

I would, but that's only because I can say I played it and most likely get a good laugh. Another reason is I saw it at the dollar store. What would the plot be? What would happen with all the uglies? Will they be part of society? Will one of them be a squadmate? Maybe one of them could be a crewmember? What if a screamer is the ships doctor? Oh the horror.

I... actually dont care about this. It can be any of the endings for me, because hopefully we have moved at least that 600+ years in time forward and can "forget" ME2 and ME3. (Yeah they are not my favourites) Now Liara, I want to see her

The more time goes on, the more faith I have that they may not force us to go with destroy. It goes against the themes and makes Shepard pretty terrible, so I’m heavily against that ending in a moral basis and I’d rather have no new Me than them ruin Shepard’s story by literally making him commit genocide, even killing his own friends, and actually act like he’s a decent person. And the more time goes on, the more and more likely it seems possible that they aren’t forcing THAT to be the canon ending to his story. Time and distance from the trailer make it seem possible they aren’t locking us with that. So I wish they’d just be straight forward and say “yes. That’s the canon” so I could at least spend this time getting over the death of ME instead of wasting time hoping for it.
To be fair when they were making the original trilogy the renegade endings to ME1 and ME2 were the default world state if you played the games without previous saves or the Genesis DLCs. I'm not sure if that is the case with ME:LE but I wouldn't be surprised if it is. IF the destroy ending is the renegade ending then that MIGHT be the default world state without saves, DLCs, the Archives, and just playing it straight out of the box.
Now if BioWare continues that trend it would make the destroy ending default not canon, like they did with the previous games.

Not totally so... when playing ME3 out of the box, the all-human council with Udina(which is the most renegade decision one could get at the end of ME1; that is, if one's renegade score was high enough, you were not given the option of a mixed species council) is not carried forward in ME3 as the default state because we always get a mixed species council in ME3 even though the all-human one is default state for ME2 (if ME2 is played out of the box)... so they will retcon other options if the renegade choice doesn't suit whatever story they are planning. That's why I'm inclined to think the ME3 ending will be treated much like the council decision... Destroy as the "default", not "sole canon" if played out of the box or with a "comic" question allowing for an alternate state at the start... AND then, a retcon whitewashing it all away anyways (probably by moving the timeline forward more than 600 years with an event that brings the galaxy to a consistent world state not direclty resulting from any of the previous ME3 endings... and, therefore, making the ME3 ending choice largely irrelevant... but all endings will remain as part of the overall canon of Mass Effect. (using the correct literary definition of the world "canon" - "a sanctioned or accepted group or body of related works" (per Merriam-Webster).

Ashley and Liara catfight has nothing on this. Can you imagine this? How do they operate? Do they have two personalities, one for the batarian and one for the human? Or is it something new entirely? I always thought that husks would continue on with their programming to kill no matter what since they aren't thinking beings. I guess it would be similar to romancing Morinth.

Funny thought I had;
The assumption seems to be that one of the endings, or a combination of them, will be canonized: Red, Blue, Green, or what I call Yellow (Refuse)
But there is another possibility:
Critical Mission Failure
Think about it: Maybe Will Return will be set in a world-state where Shepard died at some point (perhaps the "bad ending" of ME2?), and the galaxy had to defeat the Reapers some other way, without the Crucible. heck maybe there was no permanent victory, they just forced the Reapers to retreat somehow. Perhaps they wouldn't play a role in the current storyline, but he fear of their return is at the back of everyone's mind.
I came up with this because I'm currently playing X-Com 2, which goes with the Bad Ending in X-Com: Enemy Unknown, where XCom fell apart and Earth capitulated to the aliens, which is NOT the standard ending to the game.

Everyone keep asking about Geth and the destroy ending, meanwhile here I am wondering how to possibly hand-wave the destruction of the Quarian people that can be a fact regardless which ending you picked.
The more I think about every big decision you could do in ME3 the more convinced I am that either they will pick a very detailed canon (don't think it's likely, risks pissing off a lot of people) or they are putting it so far into the future that many of these things can be explained by other means (Krogans cure the genophage themselves, Quarians have a pandemic and more or less die out, Boo accidentally chews a vital cable in the Geth server and their consciousness dies, etc).
