Great thread. I've been playing again after a long year off. I stick mainly to bronze and silver cause gold stresses me out and the game stops being fun. I'm really excited to see how far you can take this. Good luck!

It is one of the most annoying traits in bronze and it's not only limited to Cerberus; you'll see it also in Reapers (Marauders and Cannibals camping around devices or hacks); it's less bad in Collectors and Geth.

I continued the adventure. Pizza, pizza, devices. Still lvl6, but 17k credits richer, let's see if I get the last Mantis:
RP1: Cobra, Ops, Explosive Rounds I, Power Amplifier I, Shuriken IV
RP2: Medi-Gel, Thermal, Sniper Amp I, CycMod I, Shuriken V
RP3: Cobra, Gel, Adrenaline Module I, SMG Rail Amp I, Female Novaguard

Next one. Escort, Escort, Targets. I'm lvl17. Shot again at the Mantis:
RP1: Gel, Ops, Power Amp I, Shotgun Amp I, Mantis X
I'm sparing he remaining credits, I will no longer buy RPs, only if I urgently need a gel (I have 8 at the moment). Also, I didn't mention because N7HQ is broken (for me, at least), but you can see the profile in more detail here.
I'll go to Gold on good old Gaint/Reaper, let's see if reaching W3 is better than a Bronze match when it comes to money.

It's much better than Silver. I got 12k for 18:23 and I got the worst possible objective (Targets). I'm thinking of going to W6, to see if that's better. Not buying anything, I need a better character so I'm collecting credits.

Here it is. Devices, Escort. The double Banshees in W5 are a nightmare, I had to rocket them so the wave ends earlier. 36,6k for 48:21. That's approximately the same as two Bronze solos, just riskier. I don't know harder Cerberus would be (it would be faster. I won't try a Geth or a Collector). I'll retry a Silver solo too. I have 63k credits, buying a Spectre Pack was tempting, but I'll get a Reserve Pack, more characters in that potentially.

I did a Silver solo (Giant/Reaper), I forgot to take a photo of it though. 32k, 57 min, bad time, but on other maps this might be the correct time. Two quick bronze still gives the same credits and faster and better XP-wise, too. I've leveled up to 18, and I've surpassed 100 CP. I also have 10 bronze solo this way. I have 95k, one more game and I can buy my first big pack.

Last solo for today, I couldn't really concetrate anyway. The RNG was good for me so far, please give me a good character. The Reserve Pack gave:

Adrenaline Module III
Quarian Infiltrator
Stronghold Package I
Krogan Shaman
I'll stay with the HMI, but at least I have a gear to equip for now on.

After a great hiatus, here it comes.
My first U/U/B got me a Rio, Reapers. Pizza, Targets, Hack. I managed to die once due to a sniping Ravager, so I'm down to six gels. With my 20 419 credits, I'm unable to buy anything useful. I'm still lvl18, so the previous post's character link should be still relevant.

I've had a failed HGlacier-Cerberus combo already. At least here I walked away with the credits. Hack, Pizza, Devices. I hate this pairing, and I managed to waste two ops in W10.

The last one for today was a HGhost, with some Reapers, and triple devices. Ho-ho yeah. I have lvl'd up to 19 and I have 51 898 credits.

I recall when I first started my new account on PS3 I was getting a lot of kick votes trying to play Gold with no manifest, which made me consider going for the Lone Wolf banner. So I basically already did what OP is talking about.

When being a Spectre meant something, early on, I was still trying to git gud. After that very brief moment, it no longer meant anything and was just a clique. Really that was what I lulz at, the old BSN and the imaginary tiers of super status.

Think I wouldn't have managed it without the glorious help of RNGesus, who gave me the more or less unvincible AIU.
With this feeling of being unvulnerable with this char I failed directly in the first bronze attempt on jade W6 (devices).
In my first attempt on gold/white I prefered Katana X (instead Crusader I). Big mistake. Without any piering ability and 2 times targets I wasn't able to bring the banshees down in time. Attempt 2 ended in the sword of a phantroll and no. 4 (what else ? it's me !) in a warm hug of a banshee during disabeling a device. The two successful attempts took me nearly one hour each and I think they knocked me back at least 10 years of my life...

So next step plat-solo ? Read my lips: N e v e r e v e r !

PC (and XBox) Problems. PS3 ties to the hardware (though the account can "disown" hardware to transfer games), so one purchase of ME3 can result in virtually unlimited alts. I personally had 3 alts, and the wife had one, all on the original purchase.

However, I am pretty sure that XBox and PC both require each account to purchase the game.

PSN accounts were free for PS3 (Not true of PS4 though, from what I hear).
