The game seems to spawn in a lot of different countries (I guess in a similar way to Inquisition, only with more countries).
As I said in the twitter thread, I wouldn't expect anything at TGA given the full reveal being next year.
I'm curious about the voice at the end of the teaser, as it's definitely not Solas. It could be someone from Tevinter, although if combined with the voice over Rivain's part, I wonder if one of the Evanuris would break free in the early game.

Highlighting different areas of the game? What looked like actual footage of some kind maybe rendered in game? An actual date of some kind? It's finally maybe actually happening.
I assume that if they do a the full reveal in Summer 2024 that we might have a late 2024 release still. Full reveal says to me they would have a big showcase to show off the game. Like, for example, what Bethesda had for Starfield this summer.
I imagine release date depends on how they game is by then. Full reveal makes me think of a Fallout 4 situation where they finally showed off the game in a big showcase and release it a few months after. Seems like it could also give them leeway since if it is not ready they can delay it into 2025.

Why was Tevinter omitted in the trailer? Maybe they want it as as surprise for later. So everyone can be hype about that.

Why was Tevinter omitted in the trailer? I would imagine it is because everyone in the know already knows the game will be taking place there and they wanted to highlight other parts of the game. Edit: Tevinter seems to be shown at the 0:30 but it is just unnamed unlike the others. Also of note since they showed off Antiva and Rivain. We have had three past companions from those nations born and bred: Zevran, Josephine, and Isabela. Odds one of them makes some kind of appearance?

Why was Tevinter omitted in the trailer? My guess is since they’ve talked about Tevinter a lot, this was to show everywhere else that will be involved. Plus the final shot with the map is of Tevinter.

Like others have said, the fact that it's up on steam now and they have given an actual date to show off more I'm optimistic that they are finally comfortable where they are at in development. I'm guessing end of '24 early '25 for an actual release date when they show more in the summer. I still am expecting they will aim for an end of '24 release date but it gets delayed until February or March of '25.

Well this is pretty much beyond what I could honestly expect and given everything going on is actually quite good. Other then the full reveal coming in summer that brought a strangled noise to my throat and has....interesting implications for what I will be playing soon.
But I have thoughts...lots of thoughts...some more conspiratorial then others so for other threads but three big reactions to this trailer.
The Locations: Rivain, Antiva, the Anderfels. Now in this case it is quite interesting what is not shown. Essentially Nevarra...which I had on my bingo card higher then Rivain...and the Tevinter Imperium. Now the Imperium not being shown is obvious and gets to the heart of what is being done here. Either they know or they just have decided on their own that they have teased what is going on in Tevinter enough. Solas, the Qunari, Varric, the IMperium. They've teased that enough so any big reveals will be saved for the big reveal. But all of these locations has been teased in various places, namely Tevinter Nights and some of the BTS stuff has now been confirmed as being from these places specifically. And we have seen a lot of undead iconography before os its possible Nevarra has been dropped...or Neverra will still be visited but will be shown at a later date. Also it mentioned returning to previous locations which could mean anywhere from the previous three games but given Absolution I most instantly think of Kirkwall.
The Factions: The Grey Wardens, the Antivan Crows, the Lords of Fortune. Now in this case it is fascinating they are leading with these three again because we've seen the Tevinter/Solas/Varric/Inquisition stuff quite forcefully at this point and now they are trickling down and the next three organizations are these three. The most important factions? 'Origin' factions? Again the Mortalitassi would seem to be the odd ones out here but three factions with each of them could be any of the Big Three races, at least, seems like a good starting point for either interesting stuff or Origin Stories either way. And also keep in mind at least in terms of the Lords of Fortune and the Crows there is that definite sense of fighting against the powerful in here.
The release date: Now it does say 'full reveal in Summer of 2024.' The safe bet is that will be a big showcase that will start the marketing for 2024 late or early 25...bla bla bla. But this game's marketing campaign remains utterly insane because another thing that is not being dicussed as much as the wishlists have dropped for the game. Without release dates sure but again this seems very odd for for a game that is supposed to release in a year. Again occum's razor probably applies here but my thought with this is too fold. The 'full reveal'...could actually be the game itself. Because it just seems odd that we're getting wishlists for the game for new news and stuff when the game isn't going to even have any more news till 'summer'...that's...just bizarre. Number 2 though keeping in mind the above maybe its going to be a really short marketing campaign as well and that 'summer' could be a much more vague term...like starting in April. Yes, safe bet is we're going to here more news around EA Play but its also possible that we will see more info earlier then that and the game will be out sometime right around summer. Keeping in mind to that they are obviously hedging their bets. While this is the most firm they have ever been on reveals...whereas if we don't hear new news by September then we can assume something major has gone wrong again...they are also being a bit cagey. So they are trying to do this where frankly all of theories are still on the table with this but I also wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

Games appearing on a wishlist a year before the game releases is not unheard of. The Day Before was Steam's most wishlisted game half way through 2022, only to be released 3 days from now. Ark 2 appeared on steam last year, yet to be released. It's not an unusual thing. If you think the game might drop in Summer 2024 I don't know what to say other than you are, once again, setting yourself up for disappointment. Which you're perfectly able to do, sure. Don't know why you keep doing this to yourself though TBH. EDIT: Nobody says "summer" and means "april". What?

My guess is that when they say “Summer”, they mean they’ll aim for Summer Games Fest in June. They might do their own showcase if they run into any road bumps that make them unable to show it at SGF.

It depends on EA and their future plans for a return of a summer showcase. I'd say the reveal won't be limited, though, to either events; I think they're going to show much more compared to their previous reveals.

Maker it feels good to actually put this game on my Steam wishlist . In regards to the trailer: interesting that this seems to indicate that the Crows, Lords of Fortune and Wardens will be the three big factions, weird that there's no mention of Nevarra and/or Mortalitasi. Maybe they're saving them for later for some reason? Fingers crossed plans haven't changed in that regard. We know that the human commoner origin got cut really late in DAO development, after all. I hope something similar didn't happen to a whole playable faction - especially since I feel like we need a 'mage-y' faction to go with the Crows and the Wardens.

Tevinter Nights and The Missing have a group called “The Shadow Dragons”. They’re an anti slavery group in Tevinter; a sort of Underground Railroad type group. I imagine they have mages among their numbers.
