- Make shoutbox visible to Guests, but not able to post in shoutbox, they can anyway see our forum posts.
- Add a "Delete" option to our shoutbox posts.
- Use local/server time on shoutbox posts like in forum posts instead of "# ago".
- Add Font Color and Font Face in shoutbox.
- I find the gap between the shoutbox posts too big, less gap = more posts.
- Superscript,Subscript,Email and User Link icons aren't visible in shoutbox despite being useable.
- Global shoutbox font size, the ability to increase/decrease text size of all shoutbox texts without affecting others. (not individual Font Size posts)
- Make polls colorblind friendly.
I prefer PHP Forums lol.

1. I'm keeping it hidden for now from a peculiar somebody. 2. The delete option should be the X. 3. The variable for local time doesn't exist in the SB (I checked out the layout template for Individual Posts). 4. Same as #3. 5. The height per post is sufficient enough, as there's already a character limit and it helps differentiate who posted what. 6. Only emojis can work in the SB. DISREGARD THAT I SUCKS COCKS. Anyway, I can look into adding those but it's not necessary. Best not to over complicate something so simple. 7. The default font size is upon general consesus. Otherwise you can simply CTRL + to increase the font size and zoom in.
BUT OFC, DISCORD IS A BAD ALTERNATIVE AND I'M FORCING PPL TO USE IT. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@howyummy ... starting today, on IE11, using the BSN Theme, the "Hide Shoutbox" function is not persistent.
On IE11, it's not every time, but most times, going to a new page or reloading a page, the shoutbox is revealed.
I checked on FireFox and it seems to be persistent.
Not the end of the world as we know it, just wanted to let you know, in case some recent changes had unintended consequences.

Not a shoutbox problem ... so off topic, but rather than start a new thread or track down some necro thread ...
@howyummy ... another thing sort of popped up today ... long running scripts. Really bogging BSNuf down. I'm guessing it's an ad ... as in the past.
In any case, did some research, MSFT said to uncheck the "smooth scrolling" box in advanced settings. Did that. Proboards now seems to be running better.
In the MSFT article, they said that smooth scrolling can interrupt the script, causing problems.
The Windows Secrets article implied that with that box checked, could impact Firefox or Chrome as well ... but for sure, it impacts IE and I assume Edge.*
*edited to differentiate between the MSFT article and the Windows Secrets article (which linked me to the MSFT article).

Can you link me the article?

@howyummy
The MSFT article on long running scripts: MSFT
The "windows secrets" website that referenced it occurring over more than one browser platform: Windows Secrets
