Peebee (Official Thread)

Agreed. None of BioWare's antagonists or villains are ever "evil." They oftentimes are shades of gray, and generally their motivations are actually understandable and justified. Saren, TIM, Loghain, the Arishok, of course Solas, none of these characters were black and white. I think it's very likely that Peebee could have parallels to Isabela, as they do share some similarities in their carefree approach to life. Isabela also wasn't very good with people or long-term relationships, so it was something she struggled without throughout much of DAII. I could see that being a recurring theme of Peebee always being a lone wolf, but now having this family and being conflicted about what she should do.

I don't believe Peebee will be "evil." That doesn't necessarily mean she'll be exactly what BioWare says, either. She is by far the wildcard out of the entire cast of squadmates. Out of all of them, she would seem the most likely to perhaps betray the Pathfinder team. That's not to say she couldn't seek redemption, like Isabela. But, only time will tell. I just wouldn't rule anything out due to having some preconceived notion of who Peebee is. We don't really know any of these characters well enough to definitively say what they'll do.

Ugh... damnit. I wanted to like you Peebee but more and more you make it impossible. We are in a precarious enough position here in Andromeda without personal vendettas or whatever to distract from the cause. Thousands of people are relying on me to make a new home, there is no going back. I don't have the patience for your shit Peebee. If I get to you at all it'll probably be after the main story is completed.

So with all the sadness going on in the other character threads I thought I'd drop in here to say that I'm really looking forward to meeting and romancing Peebee. She's the squad mate I've been looking forward to the most and everything that has been released(even the pod crashing) has only made me more excited to get to know her come the 16th.

Briefly explain your Ryder character, then explain the 'perfect date' they would take PeeBee on.

Inquisitive, smart, noble, but the way he was raised, while making him specialized as Pathfinder, makes him a little awkward around people. 

As for the date...I think he would find an uncharted world, with the most beautiful vista possible, and drop themselves off on the beach, with a nice picnic (and probably a sidearm or two in case there's hostile wildlife) where they can just be together by themselves, get away from it all for a little while.

Huh. I'm surprised I haven't wondered what was under the jacket yet.

My Ryder’s going to be a bit of a tech nerd. Loves science, but she’s not terribly well versed with it, having gone a more military path regardless. Chomping at the bit to learn. Probs drove some of the scientists on Mars mad, hovering around them asking a million questions. She doesn’t lack for courage but can come off with a few eccentricities - aka the Ryder who goes all in with the flirting and makes a meal out of it.

Ideal date could be anything really.. poking around at Remnant tech sites comes to mind, or killing time on the Tempest with card games. Something fairly lowkey. She’d insist it’s not a date – and her brother probably teases her like crazy for it, naturally.

Okay after a thousand years I could finally sit down and answer these, so here I go!

1. I'm planning to go default Sara, but that may change if I get too crazy on the Character Creator, I've been able to go default with Hawke though so there's hope. My Sara will be delighted to be in a new galaxy, the type who can't hide their excitement, so I think she'll get on well with Peebee from the start. They will be friends and it will probably develop into more later... I just don't know how later on yet. My Sara is indecisive and insecure, so hopefully Peebee can help in that aspect, however Sara also worries about everything so she'll try to not let Peebee go to crazy with her ideas, balance is key here
2. She's studying and programming probably. Trying to figure out about other civilizations and their tech.
3. If someone doesn't let her do something or go after something she wants, I believe she'd get really mad in that "I do what I want" kind of way. I think this may happen with Lexi since she seems way more serious. Also there's a dialogue in one of the Lexi's interview that says "Peebee knows I can't divulge patient information". I think if she notices something is being hidden from her, or that she's being lied to, she'd get angry, and then try to find a way to find out what it is anyway.
4. I don't really see her being a troll, more like a user that lurks a lot and that points things out once in a while 
6. Shove Peebee in my face please Bioware, I had no problem with Liara, I love it! More character content plot related is always good.
7. I'm curious to see Vetra because of what Mac Walters said, but I wanna see how she's with Cora since she seems more serious, and also Jaal because questions need to be asked.
8. I dunno why but I think back in the Milky way she was adopted by some other race (maybe human?), and that's one of the reasons she's so different from other Asari. Her parents must have passed away or something, and her adoptive ones too but probably because of age. I think she doesn't have any ties left with anyone left on the Milky way.

Putting this in the same post here. 
Okay so my Sara is those things I said on the first question (excited, indecisive, insecure) and also emotional. She's usually positive and likes to make jokes whenever she can, trying to control herself to not be inappropriate. That being said (if possible), she'll be shy while asking Peebee out. She'd probably try to do something super cool like finding unexplored Remnant ruins and taking Peebee there to look at them. All would be peaceful and it'd be nothing they hadn't seen before, but they can appreciate the architecture nevertheless. In the end they'd probably see that they're not the only ones there and have to fight and go away running, what would leave Sara very apologetic about. Peebee would be cool about it though cause, you know, she was thinking of her and that's what matters and all that jazz... So the imperfect date is perfect... Leave me alone 

Edit: Just noticed I'm a Senior Member yay! I feel old...

are PeeBee's eyes supposed to be green or brown?

I thought they were brown in one scene but they look green everywhere else

I think I have partial hereditary color issues..
