Apparently there's such a thing as .22LR conversion kits for Glocks, where you swap the slide and barrel for a pair chambered in .22LR. Wow, thats awesome! You going to get one for your glock? Idk, will have to look into the pricing. Edit: If I was to get a .22lr capable handgun, I'd prolly look into a revolver that can also shoot .22 short and .22long, and possibly have a swap out cylinder for another chambered in .22 magnum.

I just bought 5 pcs 33 rounder 9mm Glock magazines for my future project. I'm going to get me a license for a Glock 17 in 9mm which I'm gonna throw into a Micro Roni chassis. (Note: We do not have SBR rules here in Austria, you can throw whatever you want onto your pistols. ) Its gonna look like exactly this, though I think I'll go with an olive color stock.

Aww, thats a shame. Can I ask why you wouldn't want a semi-auto .22 handgun? There's various reliability issues in auto-loading with .22 rimfire where it sometimes doesn't detonate or feed properly. Which i experienced a bit of when firing my 10/22 for the first time. That and like I mentioned, a revolver can shoot various .22 types (short and long, not just LR).

One idea i've had a future hypothetical gun project is to have a long slide Glock in 10mm (Glock 40) and slap a retractable stock and folding front grip on it (after doing the required SBR paperwork and paid taxes of course) and create a compact PCC out of that. I may or may not use a red dot on it. Basically what they did with this G17: P:S The lack of SBR laws in Austria has my envy and is an example of how other countries can can better gun laws, much like with Canada being able to import Chinese arms.

A friend of mine had a 22lr conversion kit for his Glock, it wasn't all that reliable. As Lavo said, 22 autoloaders aren't that awesome, I think part of that problem is the extreme spec variety in .22lr. I'd go with a revolver or a lever action rifle.
Also there is a Roni chassis for the 10mm Glock as well. Take a small 10mm Glock 29 but put a 6'' barrel on it. Neat little carbine.

P:S The lack of SBR laws in Austria has my envy and is an example of how other countries can can better gun laws, much like with Canada being able to import Chinese arms. Don't get too envious, the European Union just made a new law that limits pistol and rifles to 10 round capacity magazines. Thats why I bought those 5 33 rounders, the law isn't active yet and the magazines already in possession are not affected. But its a good thing because that law will limit the illegal full auto AK-47 of crazy church-burning and civilian-murdering Islamists to pesky 10 round magazines, right. RIIIIGHT? I feel safer already!

oh, for my canadian friends:
Canadian legal 20 gauge shotgun. Last video he did, showed some cheap ammo. With some better quality ammo, seems to run better.

Also, so very jealous of that magazine capacity. I would love to have the ability to purchase a 20 or 30 round glock mag. Sadly, I have to limit myself to 10 round mags. So I have 2 of them!
Edit: just saw the caliber in your mag count. Removed that question from the post.

But switching 10 rounders isn't that big of a deal, just have tons of them. Damn, now you've made me want to buy more mags.

Today was magnum day at the range, as I brought 50 rounds of 125gr FMJ .357 mag, 12 rounds of 240gr .44 mag FMJ and 48 rounds of 240gr 44.mag JHPs. My workbench. Each aisle/booth at the range have a container on the side to dump your spent brass, which is pretty convenient for revolver shooters. How it looked after i was done. The first 6 shots of .44 mag i shot (if only i was always this accurate ) The part of my palm by the base of my right thumb was a bit bruised by the end of my session and i had a bit of powder residue on my hands too.

You threw away 44 magnum brass. THREW. AWAY. Collect it, even just to sell it once you have a ton of it. Brass is the most expensive part of a cartridge, don't dump it. Maybe you'll start reloading one day, all that brass will come in super handy. In any case, I can tell you with absolute certainty that some greedy old ass dude with grabby hands immediately crawled out of the woodwork to your shooting place to loot all that sweet brass, rubbing is hands and laughing like the greedy asshole that he is.

I do h ave 2 10 round mags for each of my rifles. my 9mm, and my .22.
Also, yes. Everything you said about 9mm is 100% true. I can get a box of 50 for $20 ish. or a case of a thousand for 180 ish. Though where I'd keep 20 boxes of ammo...idk. Maybe pickup one of those metal ammo boxes...
Anywho, very nice rifle choice! I want pictures of the completed item, and range pictures too plz!
Lavochkin nice shooting! We have those benches/boxes at our indoor ranges too. Hope you washed your hands good and proper after all that residue got on them. My local indoor range has some special soap to help reduce lead buildup on your hands.

I forgot to mention that during my last range session that my .44 Mag was quite the attention getter, as the two other people at the range came over to see what I was shooting. Just the .357 is noticeably louder than standard autoloader rounds (like the .40S&W they were shooting), so i can but imagine how loud the .44 was...
Oh yeah, i also chipped a small part of my left thumb's nail when shooting it when it somehow hit the back of the cylinder release when firing a round.

oooo, nice lavo. Any chance we could get some pictures when you put it on your pistol? Giant Ambush Beetle what do you need to do for that license? Are semi-autos legal for you? If that doesn't work out, I'd take those mags off your hands. This kinda makes me want to try black powder pistols: I just have to see if my local range lets you shoot black powder pistols. I've seen rifles before, guy at my first time to the range had a freaking musket (not joking). But I've never really looked at the pistol line before, so I'm not sure if they'd let you shoot them or not.

A handful of semi auto rifles and all semi auto shotguns and pistols are allowed for us mere commoners to own, but we need a license for that, which includes background checks, screening by a psychologist, some bureaucratic hurdles, a couple hundred bucks and police will check on you once to see if you store the guns safely. Then you are allowed to obtain up to 4 semi automatic firearms. If you want more you need to go make a new request. Not that big of a deal. Not sure what to get though, I have seen a semi auto shotgun at my local guns store and I think I am in love. I've always wanted a semi shottie. Armsan RS-A2 BTW, I do shoot muzzleloaders as well. Also rifled muskets. A TON of fun!

Brought my Siwss G1911 7.5x55 rifle to the range, and it was fantastically accurate with my new handloads! The best group, 5 shots at 100 meters (110 yds) with iron sights. Other groups were good too but this one was the best. Love the rifle, its 108 years old but packs quite a punch, has a sweet trigger, buttery smooth action, it handles nicely and its in excellent shape.

So here's a technique for you: Jokes aside, I do have a little experience with shotgun reloading techniques, I have lever action rifles and they load very similarly. Both have tubular magazines and they feed from nearly the same spot. Just yesterday I shot my lever action at 50 meters and practiced speed shooting and loading with it, and I'm not bad at all. But I am still very torn between a Roni Glock or the Semi-Shottie. Both cost roughly the same too! I love sub-gun like guns very much, but I'm also a huge fan of shotguns. Tough decision.

If you hadn't bought the mags already, I'd say go with the shotgun. But since you already got the mags, my thought process is get the glock. But I thought you were allowed to have up to 5 semi-autos before you had to apply for a second license? So why not get both?

The law will go into effect shortly, but right now I can still get big mags so I bought some. I WILL get the Glock and the stock eventually, I'm just not sure what to get first.

Got my LCP2 viridian laser yesterday and installed it. Quarter size comparison showing how small it is (it doesn't add any noticeable weight to the gun either). How the laser looks. I even put the laser eye exposure warning sticker it came with on the top of the slide. Unrelated to the laser but related to the LCP2 all the same, due to not being able to fully get my pinky on the grip, i ordered these magazine grip extensions so I would be able to. How things stand atm with the current grip.
