Bio must take advantage of this window to deliver a proper quality patch before any new IP demos/announcements are made at E3. Once done, focus on delivering a quality DLC can start in earnest. Hopefully a free one. On the other hand, if DA:I is any example, the upgraded CC will cost you $$$.

This is the twitter thread, not the "Let's all take turns bitching" thread.
No on-going bitch'n was intended at all; just the opposite.
I'm just glad the patches are continuing, and offering a little side-chuckle that Mac's hands are NOT YET COLD AND DEAD! Good for him and us. Getting 'Frostbite' in one's hands and fingers isn't uncommon in Canada! (Pun intended).
Just thought folks could see that Mac's earlier promise for Andromeda is continuing to polish, polish, polish. I appreciate the improvements that are being made.
Watch Peebee come to life in this speed painting by BioWare's lead level designer Colin Campbell. The hour-long painting has been sped up several times to show you his process.
Colin Campbell @ccampbellart This was a fun thing to do.
The speed painting was fun to watch and it's a beautiful result. Now they should make 250 limited edition prints with the signatures of Colin and others, sell them for $50 or so and give the proceeds to a worthy charity for children. Something like that.
A) They're patching CC for free It's the single player DLC that's going to cost you
Well, I've finally broke down and bought one paid DLC for DA2 against my principles, so might as well. Charge away, Bio, everyone needs to eat or whatever.

Ah.... yes. I looked up the original Bio notes and you are correct.
Interesting, though. Now that both DA & ME are on the same engine, the studio should have the same CC as a reusable asset. Lol, expect complaints from players about the CC in both games.

Both DLC's for DA2 were pretty decent in my view...

I think there are three. I got one for free from customer support b/c I am a princess, and bought another one. I've never bought ME2 and ME3 DLCs though, so I am like the only person who did not get the Citadel references and stuff. Between the BioWare points, no convenient DLC bundle, and pricing of each DLC exceeding the pricing of the Trilogy itself, it's just triggered me too much.

You're missing out! Great DLC in those games!
I know, but the whole trilogy was $15, and one quest is $12 (and I have never played quest/companion-centric DLCs in DA either, despite them all coming with the game, only the plot-moving forward ones, i.e. Legacy, Awakening and Trespasser), and if ME2/3 does not lack something, it's companions, so I don't want to dish $ for Kasumi or Javik & I can't care less for Liara... I also started to play it in late 2016, so I did not have long lulls in my experiences yet. But, yeah, I am starting to buy DLCs on Day 1 with Andromeda.

I'm no fan of Liara, but the Shadow Broker DLC was pretty darn cool, I enjoyed that one. I'd say Javik is one of the essential DLC's. His mission might be nothing spectacular, but he's a great character who answers a lot of questions about the Protheans. Though they're expensive, I really would suggest getting them. After playing them, I'd find the game incomplete without them.

Especially Kasumi
I have no argument that they are good, but the MET ship had sailed for me. Andromeda is it

Dragon Age Inquisition's CC was created in Frostbite too, so obviously - even if the games share assets - it doesn't mean that the CC will look the same, given that MEA didn't.
Besides, Inquisition didn't use face scans, nor had to adjust PC father's appearance to PC's.
In other words, there are a lot more factors involved when creating a CC for each game.

I think it's mainly because Inquisition has 4 races, so all faces have to be "drawing" quality, while in ME:A because they are all Human, they decided to venture further in using a framework of real people's faces. More restrictive, but also less cartoonish.
BioWare produced some quality DLCs for both Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises:
Mass Effect: Bringing Down the Sky, Pinnacle Station Mass Effect 2: Kasumi - Stolen Memory, Overlord, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Arrival Mass Effect 3: Leviathan, Omega, Citadel Dragon Age - Origins: Leliana's Song, The Golems Amgarrak, Witch Hunt Dragon Age 2: Legacy, Mark of the Assassin Dragon Age Inquisition: Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent, Trespasser
The only ones in this group I never really liked nor play in subsequent playhtroughs are Pinnacle Station and Arrival
And, looking at all that content, it again illustrates how out of character it would be for Mass Effect Andromeda to not at least receive 2 single player DLC's. You're not just talking about letting a game go stagnant, you're are talking a money-making brand. Five years after the last game in the original trilogy came out, and 4 years after the last DLC, they are still selling products...even now, they are talking deposits on a Mordin Solus Statue for $100.00.
