Romance options speculation (Official Thread)

Deer you and I are kindred spirits. I need this on a deep emotional level XD Pretty sure he's an Angarian (sp?). So yes definitely Andromeda native. 

I didn't screen capture him I think someone else did. He's a known insider that hinted this video would be happening today.

I definitely need more Andromeda men in my life. Not human though XD

Hopefully the alien is bisexual and romanceable by Scott too.

Hopefully Jaal is going to be bisexual... But I bet I get the romance options that I don't like... as always.

Eh, going in blind can be super disappointing. In ME3 I had a Shep who'd been faithful to Kaidan all the way, but I couldn't wait to roll a Shep to jump in the sack with James. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that wasn't actually a thing. Characters that flirt heavily may not even end up being options, and that can be frustrating.

Can confirm: it's the WORST.

Well, not the worst, really, but, when you've got that one character you're dying to hear about (ex: Joker during ME2/ME3) then when you hear nothing about them, you start to freak out. And even if you do get leaks, that still means nothing, because who knows how old the leaked info is, or how accurate, or if it's really everything.

I suppose, if you haven't got a favorite or aren't looking for something specific when it comes to an LI (ex: dudes availble to Rydude) then maybe it could be fun? The forums could get viscious as the time closes in on us and people still don't have their chosen LI confirmed yet, which is its own sort of fun. Of course, if you do have a favorite, then it is the opposite of fun. Thus, I will be hunting for leaks like I'm paid for it.

It might be like Garrus where we don't get her as a love interest until the second game, would suck if that were true

Idk but I get the feeling that after Bull, having Drack as a romance is not that far fetched.

Blackwall is old, so everything is open really at this point.

Try going through ME1 and ME2 with zero romance options for your Shepard.  That was me.  I managed to still enjoy the games and got two options for me in ME3.  I suspect BioWare is now on board with greater options for romance.  M/M romances are the only ones denied in ME1 and ME2.

In the DA games, I really disliked all the male romances.  I wanted Alistair in DAO, I wanted Sebastian in DA2 (Anders wasn't terrible except for the final outcome) and I wanted Cullen in DAI. Dorian was okay but not the kind I'd prefer to romance.

So, please, out of 6 games from BioWare I've gotten what I wanted from ONE GAME.  I know you don't love the choices you're given but understand that a lot of us go through that.  I still enjoyed the games.  I also truly believe that moving forward BW is going to offer a greater range of romance options.
