And this year's winner of Tenno Tunes (vol 3). Warframe song by RustyFIN, styled after 80s action movie themes. Contains story spoilers from Apostasy: Prologue.

Also Bone Daddy Nekros, Tigris Prime and Galatine Prime are going to the vault on June 19th.
While a bit unwieldy to use and total overkill on standard maps, Tigris Prime is one of the few shotguns that can reach 100% status per pellet.

...and sortie assasinations, and high level play in general, esp when soloing and therefore foregoing the benefit of 4 corrosive projections. As Gileadan mentioned, the fact it can reach 100% status chance with the four 60/60 mods means that every pellet will proc a status. While that is not exclusive to the Tigris P (off the top of my head, Strun Wraith and Boar P also qualify, and a few others like the Sobek can get there with a lucky riven), its other main draw is that its main damage type is slash, which means the (ensured) procs will create a DoT that bypasses armour DR - that is why I prefer to mod it for radiation/viral: though either status only needs to be procced once, viral cuts health in half, by far the most desirable effect coupled with a heavy slash-based damage (I do mod for corrosive/blast on my strun wraith though, and it's hilariously effective and fun ). It really is overkill for most content, and its sloooooow recharge time is a real hindrance. That said, I still take it along on power-heavy kits like Nidus for when that one unit really needs to die right now (parastic eximi anyone?); a single pull of the trigger can also fully charge Nova's Antimatter Drop, a fun way to turn all that single-target damage into a AoE explosion
As far as I am concerned, I do suggest trying to get it while it's still available! Definitely a weapon worth of an inventory slot!
... the same goes for the Galatine Prime btw Galatine P with Tempo Royale on Eternal War-augmented Valkyr is an angry, mobile, unstoppable meatblender!
...TENNO, are you ready for a sacrifice?

I have to admit that I have never even tried radiation/viral on the Tigris, because those don't benefit from multiple procs. Hmm... but if I were to replace Blaze with Sweeping Serration to make absolutely sure that Slash was the dominant damage type, it could be totally awesome.

I've been long negelcting the slash meta, but anything I did to mitigate the armour in high levels wasn't really effective.
I have the Galatine P now, thanks to @howyummy carrying me through relic farming and being a luckbringer. Is this slash based? I browsed my stuff and there is nothing really purely slash.
The Arca Plasmor should be ready now, too - so I can see what it's about. I kinda need a whip next I think.

I do have sweeping serration slotted in, and switching to radiation/viral made a ton of difference. Halving the hp pool under all that armour is a huge benefit, and even if the raw damage isn't killing your target right away, the corrosive procs will not help with the slash damage in any case, since it will be ignoring dr.
For the record, for solo sortie assassinations I usually go with Ash P, seeking shuriken to remove armour, tigris p shot to the face
Pounce de LeĆ³n, Galatine P is overwhelmingly slash-based, but it hits hard enough that the slash procs become relevant only at really high levels vs armour. Everything else is vaporized by a crit build once the combo starts building. Really, it's a combination of damage, swinging speed, and reach that makes it so good; plus both rare stances for heavy blades are fantastic!

Heavy Blade stances are awesome. Can't wait for them to ditch the scythe class and move all the scythes to heavy blade, and upscale their models and reach in the process. It may be a bit niche, but I'm also fond of the Defiled Snapdragon blade and whip stance. Its combos create guaranteed status effects, making it go very nicely with Condition Overload. For RP reasons I only use Venka Prime on Valkyr

I dint expect it so soon. Neither did I expect Saryn rework that quickly - I was still figuring out how to insert more toxin into the damage when it hit.

About that Saryn rework: I was so sure that I wouldn't like it but it's actually pretty good. I thought I would have trouble spreading spores but it seems to sread well enough. The damage over time is tremendous. I find that i'm less active now than pre rework. I simply cast spore on the first grouped up enemy I see and then just sit back and watch as my colleagues spread the spores across the map. Spores being corrosive instead of viral is silly though. Spores should be viral and Miasma should be corrosive. Makes more sense that way. The added sound effects to all of her abilities are a great addition too.

I have to recast spores more often. Tho it was really awful before they adressed the recasting thing. And when I cast with enemies of too little level I don't even get to melee anymore.
