Who is always honest here on this forum ??? That is my question because i'm not always honest i'm trying to be as honest as possible but that's not always easy. Because a couple of days ago i saw someone posting something that i totally did not agree with. But i did not say anything because i did not wanted to hurt that persons feelings. And that made me think am i the only one or not.
So again my question 'who is always honest here on this forum' ???

Dunno, really. I haven't out right lied about anything but I'm prone to exaggeration when it suits the (humorous) purpose. Oh, except my birth date, that's not my real one. It's my one woman crusade against the internet who wants me to hand every personal detail about me.

I act like a complete idiot and creepy douche bag on forums to mask the pain and depression I feel in real life. As sad as it my be, it makes me feel a little better that I made someone laugh, it's partly why I cant stay away from you guys.
But seriously you should look up what a futanari is.

I'm always honest.
That's why I avoid threads that will bring up confrontation. I know many people are fine with pornography but I am not. Never watched it, never care to. I've expressed my feelings on that on this forum before and got attacked. So I'm pretty honest, but I'll avoid threads that I know will just be attacking and arguing.
I avoid the politics thread and the NSFW threads.

And I'm always honest to be honest, cause I don't care what people think of me. That's why some people hates me deeply while others may like me. I am who I am and I wouldn't change that for anyone. I'm also too impulsive anyway, too often do I speak without thinking first lol

I'm mostly honest on these forums.
I'm prone to tweaking details or exaggeration when talking about myself. Sometimes just to keep things short because the full story would be more complicated and take longer to fully explain, sometimes for comedic effect, sometimes to omit an embarrassing detail or two. Twice I lied in a heated argument to better make my point, which is partly why I try to avoid getting embroiled in such arguments now, when i get worked up about something I feel strongly about it's easy to justify a lie to promote the "truth" I believe in. I felt shitty about it afterwards and have been able to avoid doing so again.

I'm like 69% honest.
Everything I say, I mean it. I don't post anything on a forum before re-reading it at least 69 times and going through all possible permutations of responses and potential comebacks. This very post you are currently reading, was re-written by me like 69 times before I was content enough to post it.
That other 31% though... that's all the shitposts I make. 0% of shitposts are honest.

I am very honest. Too honest in some cases. Combine that with being very opinionated, that is why I keep my views to myself most of the time. Otherwise I would rattle a few sabers in the controversial threads on here.
I just read the cringe-worthy stuff on here and move on. I guess being older and wiser has made me realize arguing online is a waste of energy.

Honest on everything I share. I don't publicly share things that I couldn't speak to any passing person. Then again not very open person and don't like to bother people with negativity. So definitely wouldn't argue over opinions because everyone has one, I'd rather not reply than cause hurt.

Aside from obvious dramatics, half truth and exaggeration? I tell the truth, nearly always. Lying is pointless, hiding your thoughts and opinions on something equally pointless, especially on a forum.
So I speak my mind, honestly but that doesn't mean I tell everyone everything, quite the opposite in fact.
Sure everyone here knows about the military service and other assorted fun facts but do they know my favorite author or color? They know what they are told, what they see and nothing else, so there is no need to lie at all. See this is the easiest way to keep people ignorant of what you want them to be ignorant of while at the same time being truthful. You pick and choose what you tell them.

Exactly, its the minute, minor details that make up a person, I can rant about my political beliefs all day but that's all you will know about me. If that's all you want to know then that works I suppose but if you want more, those details are needed. Ultimately though, those were just examples. Truthfully? I doubt anyone here could list off my favorite Bioware game if you wanted something more relevant to the forum, because its just information I haven't discussed in bulk. People have this set view of a person, of the world and they base everything around that person in that view, its why you can have people think they will behave in one way and then completely defy that expectation. All because they don't know the person they think they know beyond a handful of tiny self given facts, that's more or less my point on that. People know what they want to believe and what you tell them, and that makes them very ignorant, this is very easy to exploit and I often use it in debate when my own personal factoids are tossed back into my face. Because I am just a nice guy like that.

Possibly more honest than in IRL, jokes aside.
I don't know you people, you don't know me, so I'm allowed to be a total ditz without it reflecting on my job or something.
And talk about Garrus a lot. That being said, I'm a person of fluid opinions, so every now and then my views change or I'll state something different from what I did a month ago (mostly regarding Dragon Age). I like to think facts are immutable (and I post them as they come up HEY GUYS I'M FROM ALASKA), but perceptions of them should be subject to reality, further data, and probably even your mood.

Honest, but not forthcoming. I'm fairly private person--reserved and hesitant to offer information about myself. In general, though, I don't have much of a problem communicating my earnest opinions about subjects. I may sugar coat things here and there to spare feelings, but if I have something to say, I'll say it.

Because I am just a nice guy like that. Sure, people are deeper than their general arbitrary likes and dislikes. To assume someone's gonna act a particular way just from a few posts they might've made here would be rather naive indeed. Then again, forming preconceived notions is something that everyone is guilty of to some extent as it is human nature after all. However my point was, people don't really care for anything more about your personal self other that the beliefs you've put forth at the current topic of discussion(at least for me personally and from what I've seen, most people on the internet). You say that I don't really know about your favorite game or author but the honest truth is, unless it affects the discussions/debates that we might be currently having, it holds as much interest to me as another random person on the internet saying they like green tea. And unless I am familiar with you to some capacity, neither do I really care to know either. The assumption here would be that I want to know more, when in many cases, I simply couldn't care. Also relevant;

Holding your tongue isn't the same as not being honest. I'm usually pretty forthright but I've held my tongue on occasion here.
That being said, we've got a ton of obnoxious, racist (sometimes borderline) douchebags that post here, and I've got no issue letting them know what I think of em.
I can't really be bothered though tbh.
