Also, if you know a link that has relevant info, that'd be helpful/appreciated as well.

Here's what I do. Other people may have different goals and thus will have different settings. My goal is to make the team self-organizing so I can do what I want and not worry about them. - Set no more than 3 skills to Preferred per character. Which are set varies by build, but generally speaking:
- Warrior: War Cry Preferred
- Rogue: Stealth and Evade/Leaping Shot Preferred
- Mage: Barrier Preferred
[li]Disable and remove from the active hotkeys any active abilities you don't want the AI to use.[/li][li]Set Mana/Stamina Reserve to 0 (HOWEVER: just recently, some new information suggests that this might be a mistake. It might be better to set it to the amount of mana/stamina needed to use an emergency ability, like Barrier for a mage, Evade for a Rogue, or Block & Slash for a 2H warrior).[/li][li]Figure out who the tank of the party will be (if it's you, skip this part) and set all to Follow the tank. For example, say it's Blackwall. Set tactics for all AI characters, including the tank, to Follow Blackwall.[/li][li]Set heal pot threshold to 30% for characters with low max health, 20% for characters with high max health[/li][li]Set heal pot reserve to 3 or 5 for squishy characters, 2 for your tank and tough characters. Make it 0 for yourself, you want them all![/li][/ul] At the start of combat, control your tank or use Tactical mode to give them a target. After that, the team should take care of itself. The tank will select new targets as old ones are defeated. You can also use that initial Tactical to buff with potions or throw grenades.
Here's a vid of these settings in action. I used The Iron Bull as my tank.
