I set up a Turian and Angara lady and during Liam's soccer game, a male Angara and Asari are getting a bit too close haha so the attractions and relationships are happening already. But maybe not the reproduction. Spoilers for ZK Tracker quest: I thought the whole point of Zoe Kennedy's quest was that the colonists are all still on contraception. So no one's breeding yet, except some of the krogan, and a few exiles like Kennedy. (Hated her, by the way. Was half-tempted to just let the kett have her.) This isn't about breeding, but about romantic relations leading to bigger things in the far future. That's why Lexi was so happy you let SAM give her the details on you and Jaal having sex.

I think what it boils down to is that if you want it, and you're looking for it, there's little bits here and there that say it's maaaaaaybe possible if you want to headcanon it that way. If you don't then no biggie you can interpret it some other way and go about your business. I know this topic has been hotly debated in here every time it comes up and I don't want to get too into it so I'll just leave it at that. I personally wouldn't mind it to be an option, but I know some people wouldn't and that's cool too.

I took that comment to mean that she was trying to figure out if the humans would breed fast enough to eventually outnumber the angara. Not as anything having to do with humans/angara breeding together. That's how I took it, too. Maybe we're thinking of two different dialogue choices? I'm just really concerned about how Humgara legs would work. Angara have lemur-like legs with a whole extra joint. I can't figure out how a hybrid wouldn't result in some significant skeletal issues, unless a kid favored one parent over another. As a big ole hybrid-supporter I tend to err on the side of them looking more like the alien parent and having very few human things about them. Maybe unfused fingers/toes or something?

Ha I was still salty about the one being an asari lol. The Turian one is the best! He is a stumbling mess and the Angara lady is all chill and "I like you too, so stop worrying" haha So far I've deduced that Turians are just incredibly awkward when it comes to being romantic or having a wee crush on anyone outside of their race. Especially after reading this. It's just so adorable. :lmfao:

I thought the implication was that reproduction might become an issue at some point. But maybe I'm reading too much into this. I can suspend disbelief for a lot of things in Mass Effect, but my brain draws the line at hybrid babies, so I'll be happy if they don't go down that route

So maybe when Turians are left to their own devices they are super awkward since they don't usually have to deal with this?

My Consular had no attachments to them sadly. She only cared about wtf happened to her husband and Zenith by this point. This is one of the reasons I romance Theron every damn time.(well xcept for BH ) I AM WEAK DON'T JUDGE ME. but then again most of my characters were single anyway Hey I'm not judging, all my girls (barring BH) bang Theron because Zenith. My Sage is actually happy now!

Being faithful to Felix was not easy let me tell you. So far I've only gotten to Eternal Throne/Fallen Empire with two characters...my SW and my JK...and both jumped on the Theron ship. My JK fell in love with Scourge (OMG Scourge...why BioWare cut his romance is beyond me) but since he's sadly absent from her life for all of the expansions (I am so pissed about that), she jumped on the Theron train to keep her busy. She's unstable as all hell and is totally falling to the dark side (she snubbed Satele's offer to help forge the new blade so she didn't get the "balanced" stat). During the main base story she was getting more and more brutal, and then afterwards she basically flipped the bird to the Order and she just gets more and more vengeful. It actually plays out pretty awesomely in the game. Surprisingly, she did end up with Arcann as an ally because she saw the tactical advantage of "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." My SW is kinda her polar opposite. She started out as the badass dark sided Sith...married Quinn and then pretty much left him in the dust for Pierce. Then during the expansions she totally fell for Theron and ended up on the path to becoming fully balanced.

In the end I think we all agreed that we are all very much "live and let live" about it, I think we came to a pretty decent consensus there...I am just worried that bringing it up again will pick at the scab sort of.

He ended up a leader, she was a consular and they talked politics and formed a friendship through it. Felix was sweet, but too sweet imo. Theron was dashing and like Han Solo, but by then I was married and staying faithful.

Garrus talks about how turians generally have fewer personal restrictions, so I don't think they'd have arranged marriages. But their lives are (generally) about discipline and the greater good, so they might prioritize romantic attachment lower than, say, humans do. Obviously this is a gross overgeneralization; Garrus and Vetra, our only two turian team-mates, are both terrible turians

But I see no reason to not talk about same-species babies. Re: Turians - well he said that about how they are in the military, about being loose with sex. It could be that they don't have a taboo on sleeping around like humans have, but still be in arranged marriages. Like yeah you can sleep with somebody below you on the system, but surely you'd be expected to marry at the same level or ideally above. I can see societal pressure just making it easier to create "deals" between families and such, instead of leaving it to chance/love. And yes Garrus and Vetra are terrible Turians...I love them both so freaking much haha.

That and Imperial Agent are the two I've never finished.

Ah yes ME's very own Kai Leng, voicing the 2 hottest guys in SWTOR! My Imperial Agent is still waiting on Vector. At this point I don't know if they're ever going to bring him back.

Yeah my words have been twisted badly many times, and it's tiring to correct them. I'll just keep my ideas and theories to myself for their sake. Sorry, I didn't mean to stir up anything. What's so great about BioWare games is that different people can form different theories based on reading between the lines and head-canon. There's room for everybody! No worries! This was a few days back when it really saddened me how people were overreacting to non-canon ideas.

At this point I don't know if they're ever going to bring him back. Gotta say it was pretty frustrating (infuriating) that they brought back some love interests, but not all. I suppose I can see that they wouldn't need to bring back all of the other companions...but romance ones? Yes, they should have. Neither my SW or my JK saw their romances come back...not that I wanted to see Doc back, lol. I wanted to give my SW the satisfaction of telling Quinn to go take a long walk off a short pier. I have no idea if BioWare intends to finish bringing the romance arcs back with more story content...they sure haven't been very revealing about more story content. I couldn't care less about the additional group content. I think they need to realize that people play that game for the story, not the group stuff. In fact, I said pretty much that during my exit survey when I cancelled my subscription again. I was like "I'll be back when you guys release more story content!"

Oh TOR. I'm tempted to go back to you, but I know you are a hot mess. And I haven't played since the original release. I do miss my shitty, sassy Sith Inquisitor. The male VA for him was such a slimy bastard, and it was *perfect*
