Thanks for saying that. I think some of it is just that the sardonic humor helps some people here deal with it through humor. I know some guys have been genuinely really upset in here, but I think some of the "no homo" stuff we've been throwing out is just a way to laugh at our situation. I know that's how it is for me.

I'd be surprised if nex_doc were female and Reyes was a fling--they acknowledged that they really gave FemShep the short end of the stick in ME3, and probably won't be repeating that mistake while trumpeting "more romance than ever before." I also don't think Bioware would break with the one-romance Paramour precedent if they intended to make the love interests so lopsidedly female. 

I'll be optimistic:

SSc - Cora, PeeBee, Vetra, Avela
GSc - Jaal, Gil, Carlyle
SSa - Jaal, Liam, Carlyle
GSa - PeeBee, Vetra, Avela, Suvi
Flings - Reyes, Keri, one or two characters yet to be seen

Don't give me hope for Carlyle, seriously, I'm already overly attached now ;3;

If I understand it big companies have strict QA testing which means the changes in the patch are likely well over a week old if I'm correct, prior to the data mining.

Edit: Also Sony/MS have strict QA guidelines for patches too if I recall.

*shrug* nex_doc has to be somebody. If it's not Keri, why not a character (with a face model, it seems) whom we know to be a doctor on board the Nexus?

If the devs had said anything other than yeah gay options are in there somewhere now back to the boobies then there wouldn't have been so much stress during prerelease. I mean either they're just really out of touch or their hands are tied by EA who are scared people will boycott the game if two blokes are seen kissing. For that reason I can understand why trailers would be an all hetero show but surely the devs must understand how insensitive they've looked. Saving revealing gay options to not spoil the game is just not a good excuse.

Don't worry. When an attractive character ends up being a mere NPC, you can always count on DeviantArt to rectify the matter. :-)

Not to change the subject, but how's it looking for Reyes. Gay or bi?
