And here's the Temple of Sacred Ashes (and other interesting bits) during the Venatori attack on Haven (after the breach was sealed)...

Pc. You gave me those save files so I could sync up the golden nug. Remember? Ahh... that's right! Well, that'll make things easier then. What you want to do is find LinGon's trainer. It'll be the one which has both god mode and the super jump/gravity mode. The super jump will allow you to semi-sorta fly over the invisible walls. Word of warning though - a long enough vertical drop, no matter how soft the landing, will still auto-kill you, even with godmode on. The game calculates this based on distance, not speed of impact. I've died many a time flying from mountain peak to peak because I had drifted just enough down on my flight to trigger the auto-death. Also, after crossing into an OOB region, be sure to save - but not too close to an in-bounds region. If you do and reload, it'll annoyingly kick you back into the in-bounds area. If you're ~100 feet from an in-bounds area, you should be fine. Another word of caution - water. Deep water near an in-bounds area will still auto-kill you, but if you're far enough away (and that will depend on the region), you can safely explore underwater. So always save before dipping your toe in. And if you're going to go exploring OOB, it's best to go solo. Companions (typically) can't follow you OOB anyway, and sometimes they can glitch things if you're wandering around close to an in-bounds area. The Cinematic Tools are also handy to have every now and again, but not critical. Cheers!

So does that mean I can fly to the crossroads from skyhold? Yes... if you know where to find it. I haven't found the Crossroads yet, but if it's on the Skyhold map, it will possibly appear as a giant black box (likely well-hidden on the map - see an example below) that has it's own separate environment inside. Or it will be a similarly enclosed space, suspended in the air somewhere, but invisible, until you physically touch it. Sadly, I'm pretty sure the Crossroads fits into the latter category.

I forgot to add one important tidbit when exploring OOB... Do not use the Tac Cam! In OOB, Tac Cam is the "Do-something-random-that-will-bring-you-sadness" button. If you're near an in-bounds area, it will teleport you there. If not, it might leave you in the same place or it might teleport you clear across the other side of the map. It might teleport you high atop something or it might teleport you several hundred feet beneath the map.

I think I would have been more intimidated if the Elder One's army was a horde of shadows with flaming hands... Also ran around outside of Skyhold a bit today, to the very boundary. I still can't get over just how big this region is. It must be around the size of Skyrim and you see just a fraction of it from the castle...

I wonder why the skyhold area is so big. Cut Content or just where they stuffed the cinematic levels?
Also what's at that box?

Well, at one point in development, the game was supposed to be twice as big as it is now. So I'm guessing this was originally going to be a proper (explorable) region of it's own. There are some features in the main valley that suggest this. As for the box... it's where Envy Demon pulls you into the Fade.

I can't compete with such awesome screenshots. All I can say right now is that I learned to never save while mounted and that Blackwall has an extremely subtle nod to his romance if you complete the Tomb of Fairel without Bull or Varric there.

Ok, you know how if you take Blackwall to the tombs without Bull or Varric, you'll hear his story of how he got stuck out in the desert with a couple others? And how at the end, it took a week with the bounciest doxy in Hunter Fell to forget the desert? Well if the Inquisitor is in a romance with him, he'll deliberately omit that part out with the prostitute. It's likely not worth the effort just to miss out on dialogue, but the nod was just staggeringly specific.
Yes, I was insane enough to run all over the Hissing Wastes to hear that. I love Easter eggs. And the Blackwall romance.
Don't forget to say hi to the traveling Chantry Sister pilgrim near one of your camps. She's like Lord Trifles Minutae in that if you find her three times in a row, you get a prize AND commentary from teammates. Should I spoil it and say what she gives you?

I've never heard the story about the desert with Blackwall before... There's a lot of conditional dialogue in this game! But I know about the Chantry Sister "quest", and it's a good one. I like to bring Cole along (and Bull at the end) for their commentary.

He was traveling with two others, one of them a dingbat, and their supplies got washed away in a flash flood so they had to travel without food for several days until one of them found a bunch of berries that made them hallucinate. Blackwall swore up and down for three days he was seeing a ring of nugs singing sea shanties to him. They were nearly out until the Barney Fife of their group was killed trying to steal someone's water

Idk if this counts as an Easter Egg, but you can find a (or the?) Golden Halla in the Old Elven Ruins in Trespasser Also I found the body of an ancient elf. Not a spirit, but a real ancient elf. Hmmm~ Guardian of Mythal?

Just saw this on Reddit. Technically not OOB, but still a nice little find. Intentional easter egg, or dev sloppiness? The hidden ladder is actually pretty well known, but it's the first time I've seen someone actually climb it. It might have been part of something more that was built early on, that later got (mostly) cut or maybe they accidentally moved the structure too far into the wall during design? Reminds me of a little OOB ladder in Caer Oswin - which goes nowhere. But if you use it, it promptly ejects you out into space...

Does anyone just use rogue abilities on magical barriers to look at the animation for thrown projectiles? It was thanks to those odd little...glitches, are they?...that I found out that Mark of Death is two spinning little knives that will perpetually spin and make the spinning sounds even after the barrier is dispelled. Knockout bomb looks like a brightly glowing shuttlecock, leaping shot has about 5-7 black lines with a purple glow at the head and the longshot arrow is a single glowing, detailed arrow with an articulated head and fletching. Or was it the explosive shot arrow? I don't know why these little details amuse me so much.

Hi everyone! I don't know if any of you found these since I'm late to this thread. I found them in my last playthrough. Jaws of Hakkon spoilers ahead There's a hidden small cave near one of the camps. As far as I remember, it doesn't contain any loot but hiddden anyway. There's another one and it's in a stump. It was very hard to find. Still don't know how I found it. At first it looks normal but it's a lie!! There're stone stairs. A torch! Oooh! Hello Mr. Pyramid! (and dead people again) Sorry it's kinda long!
