There's this woman at work who keeps bugging me to wear smaller shirts.
I wear 3xL (or 3xlT if I can find it) to my arms and shoulders space.
What do you think?

Why is humor important to women? I think humor is a relaxing & fun way to get an idea about someones character traits (creativity, aggressiveness, general thought patterns etc.) without interrogating or questioning them like a psychiatrist. It also lightens the mood at the same time as people like laughing and joking around, so win/win. Doing hard interrogation and asking specific question to gauge someones character during a date would probably work better but it would be...... eh, it would be kinda weird and ruin the mood. Also dumb and super depressed people are largely incapable of humor, so thats a quick test to detect those as well. All that being said, I think most women are overdoing it a little with the humor requirements nowadays, sometimes methinks they're looking for comedians. It should be more balanced with other desirable qualities. But thats just my theory anyway, could be overthinking it, maybe women just like to laugh more than men and thats all there is to it.

Like Beet said, gals want things to be fun, and not to simply be "matter of fact". It's not just about humor either, but being passionate and creative with how you say things helps as well.

I have a lot of humor, sadly mine consists largely of sarcasm and morbid/black humor. Especially the latter is something relatively few people like or understand, most people I meet are fans of the lighthearted and situational kind humor which I don't find so funny. I often crack jokes and I'm the only one laughing while people are puzzled and or feeling visibly uncomfortable. But I laugh nonetheless.

I'm not skinny, but I am (technically) not overweight, if the nutritionist can be trusted. I've been trying to drop some extra, and it's been.. a total standstill. If I wear 2x button ups, 1.) The shirt pops out at the beltline 2.) I rip the seams on the back when I move my arms around. I shit you not. I destroyed 3 or so shirts like this. Also, I do not like how tight 2xls are on me. I wear 2xl for undershirts and that is it. 3xl gives me extra space.

I can't quite picture your physique with the data you've provided, are you extremely tall or something? 3XL for just 260 lbs? I imagine if you are very tall but kinda skinny you have to get 3XL for the frame size but yet you cant fill it and it is loose as fuck, explaining the comments of your co-worker.

Why is humor important to women? Because they are ruthlessly obsessed with finding excuses to be scared or miserable and humor distracts them from that.
Because humor is a pressure relief valve to many things.

Healthy weight of a fit male at this height is around 190 lbs wearing L to XL clothes. BMI is 34. Suggestion: if you are unhappy try to reach a calorie deficit and drop weight. And punch the nutritionist in the face. If you are happy: change nothing.

And punch the nutritionist in the face. If you are happy: change nothing. I've been working out consistently for over a year and tried a few changes in diet. According to the nutritionist, my fat losses are being offset by muscle mass and bone density gains. Also, there is NO WAY on God's green earth that I would EVER weigh 190 lbs. Ever. Maybe after 2 years of chemotherapy, or something similarly traumatic. I'd be shocked if I could SUSTAINABLY get down to 235. BMI calculators are b.s. I am not the typical male, typical male is about 18" shoulder joint to shoulder joint, I'm something like 20"-21". When I got my body fat taken, I was 19%, not good, not terrible. Also, not technically obese. On the heavy side, but not technically obese. Resting heart rate is high 50s/low 60s; I'm not in great shape, but I'm not hopelessly out of shape. Also, the nutritionist is a woman, so that may be frowned upon. I've been trying to go for 245, but it's been slow going. I recently increased my schedule from 3x / week to about 5x/ week. I do not look like this:

Ah don't come with that big frame BS every overweight person I ever met comes when he or she gets defensive. Chances are if you weigh 265+ at 6'1'' and you are wearing freaking 3XL clothes you are most likely overweight. I just measured my shoulder joint width and its 51cm which is 20something inches I believe, and I am wearing XL shirts at 245 despite extra meat from 15 years of competitive powerlifting. Shoulder width isn't much of an indicator for anything anyway, besides your theoretical mechanical pressing strength abilities when you train. (tendon attachment is still more telling) Trust me, even special you will drop down to 190-200 if you just eat healthily and get movin. And who in the heck cares about the gender of nutritionists? I had a female nutritionist in the hospital and boy, she was a total professional.

I had a female nutritionist in the hospital and boy, she was a total professional. Again, I started wearing 3xl's so I would not rip the seams on button downs on 2xls when I moved my arms. Again, I got my body fat measured when I was 265 lbs. 19%. That means if I had 0% body fat (also known as being dead) I would weigh roughly 210 lbs. I am not getting down to 190 without trauma. I am going for something in the range of 10-15% body fat, which would put me in the range of 235-245 ish. Which is what I am going for. I am not some lackadaisical snowflake that does nothing about their physical condition, and then bitches at people who do. I am disappointed at my slow rate of progress, and I have been trying to address it (again, changes in diet, increases in exercise, etc.), though I do admit I have a bit of catch-up to play for a variety of reasons, some self-inflicted, some not. The thing I will actually hold against the nutritionist is she is religiously obsessed with the traditional food pyramid, and that hunk of pseudoscience needs to be thrown out already. Though I doubt it is sucker punch worthy.

"It is not clear from these test results which Enneagram type and wing you are.
You are most likely a type 2.
Taking wings into account, you seem to be a 2w1 or 2w3 or 4w5"
Does this reinforce the fact that I don't like to make decisions? 😂
