Um
The title says everything really
It could be based on an existing universe/thing or it could be your own making...
I want to know what ideas you have for what you think would be good video games!!!
I kinda have an idea...
An rpg based on the Mistborn series/The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson
Ummmmm if youve read the books... I think it would make an amazing rpg You could customize your character... youd be a mistborn obviously... to me... allomancy seems like theyd be good in a video game you could have like health bars for each metal and every time you equip one and 'burn' it the bar would decrease and you could refill the bar by consuming vials of metal and things like that Steel for pushing so if you found some coins you could equip them and use them as weapons... for enemies with armor and things you could push them back away from you... good for traversing the world also there would have to be like a weight thing for whether the object will be pushed or youll be pushed though haha Iron for pulling... so you could disarm enemies or pull them towards you... also good for traversing again the weight thing would have to apply Tin for enhancing the senses so it could increase your accuracy and improve night vision and also the sound of enemies and maybe highlight them on your map also Pewter for increasing your speed and strength and toughness while youre burning it so it would be good for combat... Bronze for highlighting allomancers so you can see them through walls and things... Copper for hiding yourself from other allomancers so it could be used in combination with sneak very well... Ummm zinc and brass could be useful in conversations and increase chances of success and influence the way people react to you The other metals probably ARENT so important and would only really come in useful for scripted events and things and would probably be too rare to worry about anyway for balance reasons haha To me the Mistborn books have such a complex lore and sooooo many possibilities for stories... but you could take sides and things and make lots of choices and it would be lots of fun I was thinking of a level up system in a way like Skyrims... where you could have each of the metals and the more you use a metal the higher level you get in that metal... the same goes for weapons every time you level up you could have 3 points to distribute as you like across 3 categories of skills... allomancy skills, weapon skills and basic skills... so for allomancy you increase the effectiveness of powers and things when you put points into it... weapon skills basically the same increasing damage and accuracy and things like that... then basic skills things for increasing health, stamina, strength, sneak... things like that

Series that can't count to 3
Half Life 3 The Darkness 3 Prototype 3
Nah, but seriously, I'd like to see a game:
-where you design and build your own starship then fly around exploring, getting into fights etc. -where you're a god in the mythological sense with the goal of eventually ruling/establishing your pantheon and your power grows with the number of worshipers/temples etc you have. -where you're the Silver Surfer
and I'm sure I'm forgetting one, so I'll come back.

Videogames that their plot/story happens before Roman Empire (or Republic). In the Greek/Egyptian/Persian age or Assyrian/Babylonian/Median/Phoenician age or even older.

Wasn't there a Mistborn game in the works at one point? I agree though, it would be awesome. I'm willing to bet Sanderson would show up at release, too (though it would probably be in Salt Lake so not much help to me). CS Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy is another superb world that make an awesome RPG, I think. Imagine something like Skyrim or DAI, where your magic is affected by environmental considerations (on a ship? No casting for you!). Your very thoughts can have an impact on the world. Not sure to what extent they'd be able to code that, but one example I can think of (with actual lore in the books to back it up) would be the more you try to warn people of a certain threat, the stronger that threat would become. It's a post-colonization story like Pern, so a few guns and other Earth-tec exist, (steam engines, etc.), but the more moving parts something has, and the more people around it, the more chance someone worrying about it failing actually causes it to fail.

Series that can't count to 3 Half Life 3 The Darkness 3 Prototype 3 KOTOR3 Fixed that for you Don't forget series that can't count to 2, either ("cough"Jade Empire"cough") Mandate sounds like something close to your starship idea. I'm quite looking forward to that one. As for the God idea, now you've gone and made me all nostalgic for ActRaiser.

I'd really love to see Kingdoms of Amalur remade with a proper budget/development timeline/studio not going bankrupt/etc. It had so much potential, the main plot concept was solid and Todd MacFarlane's artwork was stunning.
