What do you mean by a "clear port"? He meant, "Here is how I lose all credibility and make the rest of my post worthless." Nah,he said that DAI was made for console then ported on PC that's why during it's release it was a mess to play on PC,and considering their advertising for DAI which I quoted on the previous post......... Not sure if in this Thread people are just trolling or they really didn't understood.

What do you mean by a "clear port"? Anyways, I disagree. The four-man party is a staple of the series. A three-man party would mean you would be undermining yourself if you brought along a party member who was the same class as yourself. -It was ported for the PC version. -What do you mean when you say "undermining"?In the first place All DA games can be easily completed without using party members at all,not to mention that a party composed of one single class like for example of all mages(which I tried in DA2)is most definetly OP.Your implication is false,a party composed of one single class It's not less efficent it can be on the contrary even more efficent,In DAO a party of all rogues with stealth allows the player to finish the game by avoiding more than the 85% of the battles. You just can't avoid the boss encounters.

Can we go to six person parties? No? 6 person parties would be awesome, assuming the pathing could be worked. I have the programming knowledge of a potato, so I'm no doubt missing something really obvious, but I would've thought making your companions follow your exact movements for climbing/jumping pathing would have been the simplest way to prevent them from getting stuck at the bottom (or top) of an area and thus unable to join your PC.

I don't consider it fun gameplay to run solo or to sneak past half of the encounters.

The pathfinding system would then have to work out when to copy you and when to make their own way around. As well as store your movements. So might not be as easy as it seems.

As I mentioned - potato level programming knowledge

My two cents is about the same as everyone else's. The four party system is a staple of DA games, plus I love the hell out of the banter.
Ergo, don't change that, BW.

I don't remember the cases when I jump stairs, but they use their jetpacks when I'm on inaccessible higher grounds. At least one thing that they did right.

Pretty sure they mean "made for console and then ported to PC and thus inferior to a game built on PC and ported the other way". Considering that consoles now more resemble a PC and that MEA PC port seems quite robust (esp. compared to PS4 version) I don't think that'd be a big issue.

We might have to agree to disagree about consoles resembling PCs, but it is good that the ME:A version seems solid. I feel like I need to edit my post that you quoted because everyone seems to have taken it seriously. I love DA:I and am on PC. There were initially some issues around character control when using kbd & m, but I don't subscribe to the idea that something has to be made for PC first to be good. In short, the post you quoted was sarcasm. I obviously conveyed that poorly, sorry.

I like party control, it makes this series different. You control only one toon in all the big budget games.
Not just for combat either. In DA2 it was cool you could let your companion speak sometimes (although it should not be an automatic I Win option like it was in DA2 - it should be a choice like any other).
It's cool to play around with it. Everyone likes the prison rescue in DA:O that took your character away and you had to control only companions.

I enjoy having three companions that I can control simply because thaty's I learn how to use a rogue and archer before tempting a game using either one and not to mention if I foul up and my character gets killed I can use another one and continue the fight.
That's the joy of a RPG with a party IMHO.YMMV and that's good too.

And considering that there have been a lot of mentions of the title and allusions of "Chrono... Age" by some devs linked with DA, it's not outside of realm of possibility that we may see this again.
